MXrep: Why is it difficult for you all to lobby? Why are you making it difficult to see things in the light of hate and love? You can achieve anything by finding the best possible ways of solving it. Why can't the Igbo's partner with Chinese companies and front them to place it on the table of the federal government. We have soft spot for the whites, right? 1 Like |

MXrep: If we are ready to develop as a region, we will not embark on it like foolish people. We will embark on it like smart minds. We are losing grounds and we cannot wait for God to give us Igbo friendly president. Make peace with the president and when it comes to the next election, carefully study the best candidate that has a shot at the big seat, give him 3million votes and 500million and see him look the other way towards your drive. Why so strict when it comes to doing things? |

Our people are out there dying in their numbers while some are been displaced. They have converted to survival mode. You will see a common trader has dumped trading to push drugs. You are recently seeing the advent of ritual killing coming up these days in our region. These vices were dead during the early parts of 2000, now they are coming back. Igbo's are on a high testosterone level now. They are thinking of doing anything to survive. Quite a huge number of them are doing things they have not been doing before. We have do something about the southeast economy. Let's create a working economy in the east so that we can protect and secure our future. We can comfortably face our fears once and for all. 1 Like |

MXrep: This line of thought is very unhealthy. The Igbo mind is wired differently from other tribes. when they don't have, they look for ways to get whatever they want. The painful part is that Igbo men and women do not have boundaries, they keep going until they find anything (good or bad) to do. More so, we are a people of close to 50million people, and its not just another tribe. You can keep Igbo's down politically but very dangerous keeping Igbo's down economically. They will sure want to break out. 1 Like |

MXrep: You might call your stand a realist stand but the truth is, it is a defeatist stand. The perfect power play is that, we shouldn't be close to power at all. Let us just sign a bargain with them and let us get the right policies. That's all. |

ChimaAdeoye: You have always been a great thinker and couldn't have said it any better. At least, I am relieved we have people who can actually sit the fuk down and analyze our conditions without being too emotional. What Ndigbo need is to shun that ignorant talk of Igbo President because it makes us look ignorant, foolish and pathetic and focus on things we have control of. Like have all the eastern state form a synergy and motorize an aggressive economic revolution that will place the economy of this continent on our palms. Look at the Jews of the world and tell me how a very small group of immigrants gained control over the economy of the greatest country on earth without actually becoming a president. Another example, black American cried and clamored for a black president as if it will change their situation and after 8yrs in power what change did having a black president bring to them They are still the poorest, uneducated and crime ridden and even while Obama was still in power blacks were being slaughtered like cows. Ndigbo think, because as soon as you land that Presidential seat you will never open your mouths again to complain. Let's be quiet and do so ground work. 10 Likes |

Just like many people had said on this pages, I do not support an Igbo president for Nigeria. This will be a very huge mistake. There are people waiting for the Igbos to get on top and that is when all negative policies will be unleashed by just about every other person who is not happy just to frustrate the region. All the actions of the president will be scrutinized so much that he cannot speak Igbo for 4 years, because nobody will allow him a second tenure. How many senate presidents were replaced within 8 years between 1999-2007? 5 senate presidents! The Igbo president may not last 6 months before being impeached. They have held the Igbos down but unfortunately, they have not progressed either. The Igbos need to be patient, we need to be smart and hold on while this contraption implodes. 8 Likes 1 Share |

OMANBALA1: I agree with you. But USA is open to anybody, immigrant or citizens who has sth positive to contribute. Nigeria doesn't and actually have a way of shutting down those with good ideas. So, how do Igbos get control without politics? |
Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by MXrep: 10:46pm On Mar 05, 2017 |
InyinyaAgbaOku: The answer is NO WAY. Man is a political animal, no matter the amount of money you have and your good intentions towards development, the power in Abuja can frustrate you if you are not in their good books |

If we keep waiting for abuja people to tell us when to develop our region, then we are not better than the minorities in our country. Even the minorities are having a field day with many developments coming their way and many not getting close to ours. Its better we study the abuja cabals very well and align with the winning team and just get the right policies to help us develop the region. 1 Like |

InyinyaAgbaOku: We did not have a plan and if we did, the plan was to allow the yorubas rule, then the hausas rule, it will later be our turn to rule the country. We have later found out that, ruling this country doesnt have any economic importance to the development of the region. Now, we want to go into alliance with people that will support our independent development as a people. We are making alliances with a mission and when we achieve our aim, they will beg us to rule this country because we will end up suck all their economic opportunities and everyone will see the southeast as the golden egg to be kept safe and do whatever it takes to keep us. 1 Like |

Develpeast: And which people are those that will support your independent development? |
Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by Develpeast: 4:23pm On Mar 10, 2017 |
InyinyaAgbaOku: Anyone can work towards the independent development of the east. Even the so-called northerners can be of great help to our plan. If you give them the presidential slot thats supposed to go for the igbos in 2023, for us to service our economic development plan for the next 20 years uninterrupted, they will buy the idea. An igbo president will always be a stooge of the north and for whatever reason we might think it will favour us, it will not favour us one bit because they will scuttle every move we make to do anything in the east. They will even see our economic plan as the president sponsoring the plan. We need bulk of our population in the east, because apart from the killings we experience in the north and economic sabotage in the west. Many of our people are dying due to constant travel from one region to the other. We can keep our people safe in the east and any way we can get it done should be adopted by everyone. The plan is huge and very deep and its not what we can just say in the surface. We will need enough power to see it come into fruition. 1 Like 1 Share |
