Kcinho:Obimo and Edem are the axis where land can be found for estate as they live in nucleated settlements leaving land free for development unlike other communities sharing boundary with Nsukka town, but the hilly terrain of that axis may be a problem. I noticed the new layout on satellite image and has been monitoring it, houses has not been erected but streets have been carved out, it looks like it is on top of a hilly terrain 1 Like

successmatters: The truth is that Nigeria politics is politics of bitterness is i didn't succeed you will not succeed too. The will do any Igbo president what they do to GEJ, they will give him bag of salt & send rain after him. Remember they are majority in the house & Yoruba's are barber chair, so at the end they will say Igbo man has rule & they will enslave us for another 50yr and we can't talk any more. Our governors need to come together have a master plan & start the implementation small as they can. Every body should support Biafra restoration because when you have freedom you manage your resources, plan & execute at the speed you want. Do you think a yourba man in power will be happy approving your economic & development plan?, the answer is no because it will affect their economy and hausa man will no support you either because of pull him down syndrome, so biafra is the best option for faster development. 8 Likes |

spyder880: The Fulani herdsman in Aso rock has asked them to steer clear of any positive activities in Enugu or anywhere in Igboland. Even the glass wall at the Enugu International airport terminal building wall fell off and they simply used plastic bag to cover it up instead of replacing common glass. Instead all aviation funds should be channeled to Kaduna airport to make it resemble London airport. Tomorrow you will hear the same people screaming why shouldn't APC win "landslide" in Enugu as if the people there are mere fools. Or better still, you hear the same people feign surprise why more people in the SE want independence for their homeland. 10 Likes

9jabull: If you build, they must come. SE should borrow a leaf from Nnewi. The town was neglected by successive governments in Anambra. Yet the indigenes continued developing the town. At a point, it had one of the worst road networks in the nation. But the town grew so big that government had to take notice and came in with a grand design. All these states that have FG presence are welfare states. On individual level, South-Easterners fare better than them. Igbo Presidency will not change anything because it will still be the likes of Okorocha and his kind that will be voted in. To what extent did GEJ's presidency transform Otuoke and her indigenes? Enugu is looking like a breathe of fresh air and such tempo should be sustained in all SE states. Folks have money stashed elsewhere and when conditions (security, infrastructure and electricity) improve in the SE, the pace of development could better be imagined. Outside of the SE region, there is no such scope of development on individual levels. 11 Likes 1 Share |

ARROBA: Sounds great. I have seen 3 different ppl who used Enugu airport recently. They all told me the airport is very busy now. it's no longer the time that flights are cancelled because of low turnout. I guess the arik problem did help them A lot. Ethiopia is now enjoying the trust the placed on Enugu. And now that the New flight is arranged, it show there is much traffic. December will be a problem like last year. people should start booking now. Great news though |

ARROBA: Air Peace will also use Enugu as its hub for its to Guangzhou (China), Mumbai (India), and Atlanta. So the airport will be a super busy place in a few months time; and I assume that the new terminal will be ready around November judging by the pace of work on the site. 1 Like |

15 hours ago Air Peace (P4, Lagos) is planning to induct Boeing (BOE, Chicago O'Hare) widebody aircraft into its fleet as it prepares to begin intercontinental operations. Airline Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Allen Onyema, told ThisDay newspaper that Air Peace would use B777 equipment to operate longhaul routes to Guangzhou (China), Dubai Int'l (United Arab Emirates), Mumbai Int'l (India), Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson (United States), and London (United Kingdom) among other destinations. The flights will reportedly originate out of the southeastern Nigerian city of Enugu. It is recalled that in April last year, the Nigerian Ministry of Transport granted Air Peace route authorities to serve Niger, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Ghana, Senegal, Cameroon, and Congo regionally. Internationally, it was allocated Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson, Dubai Int'l, Guangzhou, Mumbai, and Johannesburg O.R. Tambo traffic rights. At present, Air Peace operates four B737-300s, five B737-500s, and one Do328-300 on regular flights connecting Abuja (temporarily switched to Kaduna), Benin City, Calabar, Enugu, Lagos, Owerri, and Port Harcourt Omagwa locally and Accra regionally. 1 Like |
