Hello House,
I applied in October 2019 and my EDD was in December, 2019. Was denied in April, 2020 after the arrival of my Princess. This took about 120 days for them to reply. The reasons for my denial was “purpose of visit” and “travel history”. Mind you, I got an invitation from a family friend but yet, I was still denied based on the above reasons.
Good luck to the rest o. Would still try again though.

Hotstepper:

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

1. You will have to log into Canada immigration website and fill the application form online or you do paper one.

2. You will need to search for Dr that takes international patient if you want to apply for a medical visa.

3. Gather your documents and apply

I hope this helps

Thank you for your response @Hotstepper.

Does Canada issue a medical visa on the ground of pregnancy? I thought it’s usually visitor’s visa, then stating birthing as purpose. I don’t know if I am correct ‍♀️

Please do you know of any Dr. who can accept international patient for the purpose of birthing?

Thank you for your support.

Thank you.
