Oga Loco is a big man. His trades are in millions. He needs to conquer the spirit of itchy fingers. There are many opportunities in the market, one only needs to define one's holding time to know when to exit a trade. he is in good stocks this time around. he has nothing to fear. The longer he stays in UACN, he will receive shares in UPDC and by extension UPDC Reits. swilo: 2 Likes |

AMCON is the largest shareholder. AMCON = FGN = CBN. The day CBN will pull the rug off remaining retail investors. God willing we will be here. DeRuggedProf: |

Learn Africa this year is not looking promising. The last 2 quarters are going to end in losses. Ditto for UPL but the figures for UPL are better this year than last year. 48k eps for Lear Africa as against 74k for UPL Valueinvestor:

Evangelist. Your Love with Jaiz Bank I pray it will not end in tears. Do you bother to look at the financials? what took it to 1.29 in the first place must have been voodoo. [/quote] |

You are right Sir. But the Finance cost is making nonsense of their business. Mpeace:

The more I look at Transcorp the more I feel for every one of its shareholders. Over 100b in loans as at Q3 and 10b plus in Finance costs. Unless TOE is going to borrow them money to buy that Afam Power, I do not know where the money will come from oooo. I expect CBN to also tighten its regulatory role to ensure that UBA is not further exposed to Transcorp. The majority of the 100b loans must be from UBA. Adding more to it is just too dangerous. The saving grace will be if the FG allows the Power sector to charge cost-reflective tarrifs. people like trading Transcorp because it is a volatile stock that brings short term benefits they completely ignore the long term risks. I am not a fan of debt-riddled companies and I do not know why people love the company so much. It happened to be my very first bad investment. Never going to touch any company with debts. TraDeRR: |

Oh, I get your drift now. But as long as my initial investment remains profitable and pays dividend regularly. I cannot come and be making money for my stockbroker oooo. I will only extend the waiting period. onegentleguy: |

Access that is flying has N2.55 as EPS for Q3 whilst UBA has N2.32. UBA is even more liquid in cash than Access Bank. So UBA is still a destination of choice but one should have bought since currentprice: 1 Like |

Morning Sir. I stand by my words that you will not lose money. You only lose money in this market when you sell. If you bought Zenith Bank at 34 Naira and you have not sold you have not lost money. I have not lost money even in the face of diminution in the value of my stocks. Portfolio around 20% loss. The reason is that I have sold some stocks that have made up for the current loss. For instance my total investment now is 5k and the current market value is around 7k. This is in inspite of massive loss in UPL. onegentleguy: |

Oga OGG, I suspect you must be a big money bag that has unlimited cash to play the market. Not all of us are as lucky as you are. I just like an investment that will not make me to do too many permutations. ETI will appreciate in price, that is SURE and certain but my own cash is limited and I have chosen to ride with UBA, ZENITH, UCAP for now. When I chop dividends tire I will look at another meat to chop. There is no way you will here and you will not like AGBA. He don talk am say no be everytime person go market person must buy market. I am learning to keep my cash ready for a bigger fish. onegentleguy: 2 Likes |

ETI has been enmeshed in one controversy with PIC (one of its majority shareholders) Not sure of the financial state of the coy. They are always turning out fantastic financial print but no cash to back it up and always fond of raising capital as they need it in perpetuity. No dividend now for many years. The rule is if the price no rise at least someone must chop dividends to calm fray nerves. onegentleguy: |

I do not know if you should buy stocks now oooo. The market is bullish. Checking the Q3 of the 4 banks again. GTbank EPS 5.19, ACCESS N2.55, UBA N2.32 and Zenith bank N4.80. All the 4 banks have paid interim dividend of 30k, 25k, 20k and 30k respectively. projecting final dividend of N2.50, 50k, 75k and N2.50 respectively. These stocks were on the table for many months waiting for buyers. What has changed in them now? Nothing except that some people will be made richer and some will be trapped eziokwunwoko: 1 Like |
