Kindly know that the same document that is legalized by MOE and MOF will need to be further legalized by polish embassy before the document could be accepted by most schools in Poland.
In regards the "Sponsorship Declaration", the best is to open an account, fund the account with at least 2-3 million (if your programme has tuition fee, add the exact amount), and lastly get a Credit Card Limit from the bank. Don't ask me what is "Credit Card Limit" because I too do not know but I am sure bank do.
If you are using a sponsor, make sure the sponsor carries your surname and Policy Embassy don't need statement of account, rather get the sponsor employment letter, ID card, payment slip for a few months, and some other document. (kindly check polish embassy website)
The above means of sponsorship and scholarship usually give a brighter possibility of getting Poland study visa.
Please oo, so someone can't sponsor you unless he/she bears your surname? I just don't get that. |

Hello, congratulations on your admission.
Please kindly note that as a prospective master student, i will ONLY answer the questions I'm very sure of;
1. You are required to also authenticate all the academic documents authenticated by the MOE at the MOFA (including other government issued documents like birth certificates, court affidavits if any) before legalization at the Polish embassy embassy.
2. Kindly note that AXA Mansard Student Travel Insurance covers student for a period of 92 days of which they advise customer to purchase insurance policy in the country of study to cover their stay.
3. I haven't gotten upto the flights reservations and sponsorship letters. Therefore I can't advise you on that.
I hope those who have being through this stages recently will advise you accordingly soon. Please i am currently seeking admission for a BSc in the university of lodz, i have all the required documents and I've also notorized them with a notray public. Must everything be done by post? And does anyone know anything about the silesian university in gliwice? |

baltic4real: things you must note when applying to schools in Lithuania your certificate: try to have the original copy of your certificate from your school, it might be needed when applying for admission and SKVC. Applying for Undergraduate or master's degree: for undergraduate you can use waec or neco result, (but no combination) its better to have good grade and if you have done degree before even if you didn't finish the transcript is very useful for admission purpose. for masters 3rd class is a red flag but you can try some few schools that will consider you but pls contact the school first before applying.
Choose your course: EU and schengen medical courses like (nursing, laboratory technician, medicine) , I.T, engineering, social work, computer science, marine and Business management is very good to get work, paper after your studies.
school region and type: the 3 top cities are:
1. Vilnius has more student work like car wash, dish wash, hotel and bar work, cleaning, engineering work(labour) etc if you can speak Lithuania, Russia or German language you can get very good job but the city is expensive and the schools here are expensive. 2. kaunas: has jobs but the city is very expensive, high tuition fee for schools and accommodation, with lots of system guys(lol) 3. klaipeda: nice place with job opportunities from the seaport, low tuition fee and cost of living is low.
Admission: when you meet admission requirement, you must pay first year tuition fee before admission letter is sent to you .no scholarship or grant until you finish the first year or semester before you can apply for Erasmus programme, then EU will pay you while you are on exchange program and also pay your tuition fee for that period of time.
Choose embassy for Visa: you are expected to choose any Lithuania embassy that is closer to you or you can get their visit visa, such as Egypt, South Africa, Turkey, China or Ireland depends on you. here your journey begins(if not careful 2 years you will be here, i pray its not your portion).
steady communication with school or agent: your documents will be sent to any of those embassy that you are coming to them, that document last for just one month it will expire. here you have to calculate very well, time the visiting visa date and flight ticket plus your appointment date. highly stressful if you are doing it by yourself.
prepare for your interview: hmmmm different embassy different requirements, forms and formular, by this time money go don the drop for hand, abeg prepare financially, because you go dey another man land as goat meat, make sure your return ticket far small like 1 month.
Visa approval or denial: when they give you the passport search from the first page till the last page, your visa can be in the last page. you can decide to go back to Nigeria or fly directly to Lithuania, communicate with your school first so that your visa will not be cancel. for denial you might need to go back to Nigeria or settle in the country by getting their permit( bitter experience) in-other to apply for Lithuania again that's why you need to prepare very well so that you don't waste money.
runaway decision/ i get people for EU: please before you make stupid decision make sure you have another visa to your destination, because immediately the school didn't see you the visa will be cancel and you will be stranded in Schengen. remember it will be difficult then to get paper in any country in Schengen. so please first get your temporary resident permit which takes 3 to 6 months.
wish you success on this path you have choosen
Please can someone help Me with how i can process this SKVC stuff? 1 Like |

abnur14: I tnk its tym 4 us to get this topic rocking. I wld start wt the requirements from the embassy's site ALL VISA ISSUES REQUIRE REGISTRATION FOR APPOINTMENTS THROUGH www.e-konsulat.gov.pl ONLY HOLDERS OF DIPLOMATIC/OFFICIAL PASSPORTS ARE EXEMPT FROM THIS REQUIREMENT REGISTRATION PROCEDURE To register for a visa appointment, please go to www.e- konsulat.gov.pl --> Visas. Then, depending on the period of intended stay, choose “Schengen visa – register form” or “National visa – register form”. Schengen is for short-stay, up to 3 months; national is for 3-12 months (work, studies, etc.). Please be careful to choose to correct option. Choosing “… - fill in form” will direct you to a different application and you will be unable to apply correctly. The system will show you available appointment dates. Please note that appointment dates are granted independently of the embassy, based on the missions capacity and applicants’ demand. It is therefore not possible to receive an earlier appointment date. After you complete the online application form (make sure to click “submit” and/or “print”), a PDF will pop out. Please save it, print it and bring to the appointment. The exact appointment time will be visible on the last page of the PDF form. Please note that all applications need to be submitted personally by the applicants. We do not accept applications submitted by post, courier or anybody else than the applicants themselves. This requirement is stipulated in EU law. You will need to provide supporting documents along with your application form. SUPPOTRTING DOCUMENTS All applicants 1. International passport; 2. Visa fee of 12,000 Naira in cash (unless entitled to discount); 3. 2 passport-type photographs (en face, color, white background, no glasses, no hats); 4.
