1. Go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center

2. Under "change your networking settings", click "set up a new connection or network"

3. Select "set up a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network"

4. Enter your network name, and enter a Security key if wanted

5. Check the box for Save this network.

6. On the next page, click "network and sharing center"

7. On the new windows explorer, click "change adapter settings"

8. Right-click on the primary network(it could be your LAN or modem) and select properties. Choose "sharing"

9. Click "allow other users to connect through this computer's internet connection". Below, select "wireless network connection" under home networking connection.

10. Click "ok".
