Hello Mamas
Please i will be starting my IVF with primecare Abuja next month. Please anyone with another contact i can reach out to as Dr Ese is not replying my messages on WhatsApp

Also, Is there anything i can do to prepare my self? I am 29 with unexplained infertility for 4years now.HSG clear, hormonal profile showed high prolactin and low progesterone which were treated but still no pregnancy

Anyone who cycled there recently should assist with step by step procedures if possible. I stay in lagos so lodging will be a bit difficult and expensive. Cheap accommodation should please be recommended

I stay in Lagos also, I will be starting treatment with them by next month. Although this is my fifth time cycling with them. When exactly is your procedure starting, we could link up if you don't mind.

SJ4L:
Doctors in the house I need help.I have been married for almost four years. It will be 4yrs in September. I have been having issues with ejaculation and orgasm. I was advised by a doctor friend of mine to do hormonal profile test which I did. Then I was told that my testosterone was low. At this point there was nothing for me to do. So I sought help from others who said I should do sfa, yet sperm was not coming out except once in a while when it poured on me. I was advised to take pepsi in the lab to try and force semen out for sfa to be doe. This failed. To cut the long story short, I have erection but no sperm till date. What can I do now?

This was my case last year. Money was not my problem, I followed all instructions from my doctor but remained helpless. I met another doctor with all my test results, after explaining everything to him, he gave me one drug with assurance that will resolve my case. I bought it, took it for one month, but before the month ends, I have started seeing results. I later went back to the doctor and ran another test, behold my count was on the rooftop. In fact I told him that will sell him out because I never thought I could get such results in short time after all the treatment I received earlier. Don't waste your money again on drugs. Call this number 09064325229 Good luck
Hello house my period started on 31st January, I have a normal and regular period, I don't have any sytoms to know when I am ovulating. pls when is my ovulation day. Thank you.

You have to count from the first day you saw your period which is January 31 to the next day your period begins. That will give you the idea of you menstrual cycle as is not the same for every body but the average is 28 days.

Then count back 14 days from the day you expect your next period. (If your cycle is 28 days long, your next period should start 28 days from the first day of your last period.)

Take for instance, say your cycle is 31 days, and you period started on 12th of January.

Count 31 days beginning from 12th January, where 31 days fall on your calendar is your next period which is 11th February.

Then count 14 days from 11th February back to the last period which is 12th January. If you count 14 days back, it will fall on 29th of January.

So 29th January is the ovulation day. But Keep in mind that your fertile window starts 5 days before ovulation. You can start trying five days before your ovulation.

Okay please madam read this and act on it. I have been there. I got married five years ago but had a male factor challenge. It was difficult situation for me because my partner is not in country. He visits once in a year, spend one month and leave. So we only tried four months put together in my five years of marriage.

He went for test and discovered that his count was 12.5m wit 15% of mortality. That's very poor! His doctor over there put him on clomid for three months but no increase. He put him on another three months of clomid no results. He said IVF is our only option.

I went with him to start IVF last year January when he came back, I was told that I have fibroid and they have to take it out before the procedure. Doctor said it has to be open surgery and I have to wait 6 months after the surgery before I can continue my treatment. For my husband he said his sperm cannot be frozen since is not good enough. I was traumatized because I've already concluded that I'm going to have my baby that year no matter what happened.

In my desperation, we went to see another doctor for a second opinion and told him my husband's condition and he suggested a particular drug for him, reluctantly we bought the drug and he started taking but couldn't finish before he left.

He went back to his doctor to test after taking the drugs and the result was unbelievable.
From 12.5m to 120m with motility of 41%. The doctor was wowed. As we speak now my husband is in town, we are trying again while his sperm has been taken to freeze incase i need it in future. I only have two weeks to try.
Wish me luck please.

I will look for the doctors contact and get the name of the drug for any one in need of this.

Okay guys, I'm so sorry I kept you guys waiting. It's not intentional.

I was busy with hubby, he had only few weeks to spend with me and that got me freaking out.

The name of the drug is REVOOBIT. And the number to call if you need it is 09064325229.
If you have any question, feel free to ask.

Ild say get a second opinion from another hospital just to be double sure. For each time you have a surgery there are risks involved and also your body in an effort to heal forms scars tissues/adhesions so you need to be convinced this is your absolute best options.
You are in my prayers.

You're so right, I actually went to mbanefo hospital at Enugu and the doctor said they can do IVF treatment without surgery. I believe God is on our side, may give us the best.

I have 2 fibroids and still had a successful cycle. I didn’t remove it. It depends on location
My fibroid is the same size as yours

The position is the problem in my case.

Nordica does a procedure that removes fibroids without surgery. It's a new technology. I think they use laser or something.

Okay thanks. I will reach out to them to get second opinion.

Ask him if he would do a Uterine artery embolization or keyhole surgery as against open surgery .Your fibroids are small in size and in my opinion shouldn’t impact fertility.

Thank you so much. I actually suggested other procedures but he insisted it must be an open surgery because of the position of the fibroid.
The fibroid is actually sitting on the fundal pole of the uterus. Even though is small, it distorted the shape of the uterus. He also said that could be the reason why I'm not pregnant yet.

Ivygreenly:
I don't think you need an open myomectomy because of the very small size of your fibroids.
Better you do a laparoscopic myomectomy as this procedure reduces scar tissue formation and adhesions which are common with an open fibroid surgery.

That's has been my fear. I went back to the doctor to suggest laparoscopy but he kicked against it saying that the fibroid is outside the womb and may not be accessed through this procedure.

Greetings all . I'm new here and I can say that I have learnt a lot already. No one can tell it better than the person who has been there. I really appreciate all the contributions.

To my story, this is my forth year in marriage with no child yet. Although I have only been with my husband 3 times in all these years, he visits once in a year.
Last time he came, we decided to try IVF and we went to kingswilll and I was told that I have fibroid and I need to do surgery to remove it first before IVF. The fibroid is about 3cm with other ones that is not up to 2cm. The doctor suggested open surgery. I actually do not want to go through the knife. I heard there are other options to remove it. I also need a good hospital in Lagos that can handle it. Please kindly advice.
