Rem how long it took for your friend to get passport stamped. You told me the visa was approved mid-sep.

Have you called them to find out when you'll get it? What VAC did you use? Maybe you can also check with the VAC...

I filed my AR on the 13th of September and got a mail from the ECM dat refusal has been overturned on the 26th of September... so it took 13days in all... I submitted my passport to vac on the 27th and still waiting to get a mail for pickup as last date for school is October 16... anyone got an idea how long it will take to get passport returned back after submission?.

I actually asked for a friend. It took 2 weeks to get a response. Error was acknowledged and corrected.

I already put in for the review. I pray the ECM overturns the decision before the 28 days are up (Or make it even now sef. Lol). A 5-10 day turnaround wouldn't be bad . Na wa @ delay in letting me know the decision. Thing is the customer care peeps might not even have a clue as to the progress. I so wish there was a way to keep track of the process.

It is within 28 working days ...... for ECM to make a decision on AR..... However, the delay is in letting you know the decision. They will not let you know on time .. You have to keep calling to disturb them ........though all case may not be same ....

ECO misread my documents and said the funds aren't available even when it showed otherwise

I did That already and my school said I should let them know if I need any help since it was an Eco error. Problem is I don't know if they srick to their 28 days timeline since it's a review and not an appeal.

[send a copy of the refusal to the international admissions office of your school. Their immigration department will let you know if you have a strong case for review]

It was as a result of an error made by the ECO under section 245vz. The ECO misread my financial documents and stated that I do not have money available even when my documentation says otherwise
