Take this into account and don’t panic. The alphabet of your surname determines how early or soon you’ll see yours. It’s being sent out alphabetically just like the CBT too. All the best guys. And don’t loose your faith still. Meet y’all at the towers ![]() 7 Likes |

Gbyms: Hey hun I truly respect your opinion. ![]() But there’s a big difference between a brag and placing ethos to emphasize a point. For instance, if a health talk is given you’ll possibly want to doubt some truths in it. But when the poster claims he’s a medical doc...whether he lies, assumes or is being truthful, you’re likely to believe and get comfortable with his words 99.9%. [same scenario] Understanding ‘street smart’ with the phrase itself is crucial to the many meanings it can be translated into. It doesn’t mean you should get rid of formal education ![]() My dear, I’ll emphasize again that certificate doesn’t have everything to do with your intellect. When you’re totally out of the Academic environs and into real life proper, you’ll realize that measurement of one’s intellect with their qualifications can be appalling. Good thing you respect people with a First class degree, but for once, let’s have a change of mindset and define what is easy or difficult. Can I shock you that whilst in Uni most people didn’t know how to study or read? Hence they resolved into cramming to get that first class?... whilst others didn’t realize cramming was an option and felt with their own understanding they could come out with good grades but where did that fetch them. Possibly that same 1st class, 2:1, 2:2, 3rd class or even less. This might seem out of context, but you should have an interaction with Down syndrome patients, people with autism etc. But society has made us to totally look down on them, but they’re one of the best brain’s humanity has ever produced. Aspergers for instance have a thing with communication....like there’s this flaw... it takes patience to understand their point due to vast knowledge and ideas they possess. Put them to work, and they might just shock you. Ive met real Sapios, totally sound and all...you can possibly beat your chest they’re geniuses in their Certificates... but sometimes these aren’t the case. Have you also wondered why the worst person back in your primary or secondary school came out the top in their class in Uni? Or rather successful in the course of life. Look back at most of the As and Stellar students from way back. You might seem better than them as I speak. I’m sorry to digress I’ll love you to research or study more about ‘Street and book smart’.. I honestly do respect your opinion as I write too. ![]() Jesus is our perfect example and humility should be a default pattern in our lives if we put our minds to achieving that. Certificate grading system only classified our intellect in the lens of the formal world but in reality... Toss that certificate grading and see those you underestimate perform better than those you placed in high esteem. We naturally posses areas of expertise with or without grades. As well as , grammatical errors, lovely accent, linguistic interference, big vocabulary doesn’t define one as less or more intelligent. Don’t let these grades fool you...Be humble, respect and learn from everyone. ![]() I’m really sorry to digress from the main purpose of this particular thread. ![]() 10 Likes |

1samm: It was deliberate...yes I couldn’t leave it out too... Although i almost did, but realized that’s where ‘ethos’ comes in handy. In essence, you’re more likely to understand someone’s viewpoint if they’ve walked in your shoes or gained secondary experience in regards to your plight. It was for citing purposes only and nothing more. ![]() Thanks all the same ![]() 5 Likes |

irumole1975: Sorry to say this....it’s only kids that brag about grades and level of qualifications .... Haven’t you realized that your certificate has nothing to do with your intellect?? Most people are street smart others are book smart. Some are both. At the end of the day what matters is ‘how to be successful’. Some first class candidates are dummies compared to a third class. Papers don’t match up anything to the extent of condescending others. You may not understand this now....but as you grow through the ladders of life, this will make sense to you. I’ve got outstanding grades and awards too. But except you find out, I simply never brag or cause a duel about it. Learn to be the bigger person and be humble hun. ![]() Respect and learn from everybody irrespective of their qualifications and level of reasoning...and trust me on this..... you’ll go far in life. ![]() 28 Likes 1 Share |

Teaser4: My dear nothing like if it’s meant to be it will be. I’m sorry that statement is a very weak one. What happened to never giving up? What happened to determination, optimism and perseverance. Always have a positive spirit hun, and all the good things you desire will come flocking your way. ![]() you have an edge over the forces of the universe with the kind of energy we project. ![]() Project optimism and positive vibes only ![]() 10 Likes 1 Share |

![]() Just think of yourselves individually as God’s special one, casually walking through to your dad’s palace (the towers) to get a congratulatory messages. Think for a moment why you were fortunate to be one of the many few that scaled through to this stage. ![]() Don’t give up on God at this point. Hold onto the promises he’s given you. A land flowing with milk and honey. Be like Joshua and Caleb in the midst of the many who saw those giants (sides talks) as obstacles, but refused to be bothered. ![]() Think about this again...be optimistic and stay positive... congratulations to all in advance. ![]() 17 Likes |
