Romance / Re: I Have A Boyfriend But I'm Falling In Love With Someone Else. by richarddavid(m): 12:31pm On Jun 09, 2020
Happy989:
I started dating my boyfriend months ago and even before we started dating we've been good friends. He is intelligent, funny, has a great personality and takes good care of me. When he asked me to be his girlfriend I was so happy, because he is such a great guy. My boyfriend is in his final year in the same university that I attend. I'm still in my second year.

There is this guy in my department who is very good looking and also intelligent. He isn't jovial and extroverted like my boyfriend, but he is cool in a very confident and attractive kind of way. We started talking recently and he told me he finds me attractive. I told him that I have a boyfriend and he didn't seem fazed and never talked about the subject of my relationship. He still complimented my body and looks from time to time even though I didn't respond to his compliments in a way that indicated that I was in support of his actions.

During this covid-19 break we began talking more often over the phone and through texts and I always found our conversations interesting. A lot of times we'd talk till midnight. He is very witty and creative with words and I always smile whenever I see his texts or receive his calls.

Few weeks ago we talked about sexual fetishes and I realized we both had similar fetishes. This made him even more interesting because I found myself able to talk about stuff I hadn't talked about with anyone before, not even my boyfriend. This guy is not like anyone I've ever met before. His views on life are very unique and original and his personality is so complex and his sexuality is very intriguing.

The problem now is that I am beginning to develop strong feelings for this guy. When he calls me on the phone I don't wish the call to end. I find myself talking to him for minutes not minding the time. He is beginning to occupy my thoughts a lot and I don't know what to do. I still love my boyfriend but there is something about this guy that just seems to draw me to him.

I don't want to do anything that will break my boyfriend's heart.

Omg girl why are you like this is very clear from your write up you are really a cheater why on earth will you fall for this kind of temptations if the guy f***k you finish your eyes will now clear
You better focus on your boyfriend and don’t allow your self fall for this.

True. But you can't make blanket statements based on what you've read online, seen in movies, or listened to in music.

OP clearly wants to use his move to the Caribbean as a stepping stone to other opportunities and I think this is an absolutely brilliant idea..

...one can spend 7 years facing rejection in Nigeria trying to get into US or UK
or,
utilise their brain, easily gain access to one of these "emerging economy" countries and from there move on to their ultimate destination..

Exactly you really understand our problems in this Nigeria is that most of us lack information and we all always put head on one basket if you no what Nigerias are facing in the so call embassies of all this country still we are still going there and still refusing us their visa they have turn us to money making machine a-lot of Nigeria are stay happily in Jamaica moreover moving from Jamaica to US is easy that is why most Jamaican are plenty staying in US we need to wise up in this country

I think you're actually a super-smart strategist. It's much easier to gain entry into the US, UK or Canada from these Caribbean countries than from Nigeria..

For example, lot of Nigerians don't know that citizens of Montserrat are somewhat classified as UK citizens.. with their passports, they have every right and entitlement as a British citizen, can travel to and fro to the UK without restrictions, settle here and gain all benefits the British people can such as home tuition fees, council benefits, etc... they even get visa-free travel to majority of countries in the world with their passport too. The Montserrat passport is practically a British passport as they are still classified as a British colony.

So my dear, I think you've got an excellent plan here.. be open-minded and do research into other Caribbean countries too... hope it works out well for you!

Exactly you really understand my plans for example applying for US visa from jamaica will be granted 10 year on jamaica passport unlike Nigeria which is 2 year and to get it self is very difficult in Nigeria

I wish you safe journey
But I pray you don't have problem with their language although they speak English but their English is out of this world they will speak English as if they're fighting with you grin

Bro let me advice you why not travel to Dubai and go and hustle after two years of experience, work, and savings you can then go to your dream country some one process it's in our street here you won't believe they gave him visa the following day we even told him to chill cause of the virus he didn't answer everyone is desperate to leave this shithole I don't know much about jamiaca but I don't think it's a good country

I tried this around 2014 i was scam since then i loose interest in dubia because there are lot of fake visa agent

You have done the right by coming here to ask question. Don't make a terrible mistake, Bro. Naija is a paradise compare to Jamaica.

If you wanna leave Naija, ensure you go to a place where things are better of. Don't go from frypan to Fire.

My list is as follows: Australia, Canada, USA, UK (Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland). Most of these European countries, you need to speak their Languages before you can land some decent jobs for yourself. If you don't mind to do anything to earn money, you will certainly get menials jobs there.

In everything, getting an IT skills is a top notch to secure jobs in Western world right now. May be you can delve into that right now if you have the time.

Don't waste your money to migrate to worthless country that you may not recuperate your money used for the traveling.
To my knowledge i have a lot of Nigerians over there and are doing fine from my findings from them a friend of mine travel to Jamaica under 6 month he was able to leave comfortable over there that he even got a car for himself compare to Nigeria and my plans is to use jamaica as stepping stone to move from there to Canada or US as i said am avoiding the stress and disappointment of visa from all this country when you compare jamaica with Nigeria with what the government care about their citizens over you will definitely no jamaica is still better than Nigeria
