My Friend, You Have What It Takes To Make Money Online Too Like The Gurus Do

Perhaps the first question you should ask yourself is: "Why do I want to start an online
business? There could be multitude of possible reasons for this decision which may include some of these:

l Freedom from the daily work routine
l Being your own boss
l Doing what you want when you want to do it
l Improving your standard of living
l Freedom from a boring job
l Having a product or service you believe to be in large demand

The list goes on. But you must be clear about one thing. Do you want to start your own
internet business - or do you simply want to work from home? Whichever option you decide
upon, this message can get you started on a positive footing and clear nearly all the
obstacles from your path... So read on and have the believe that you too will definitely make it too online right here in Nigeria

But four things can still stand in your way:

1. You're Looking for the Entrepreneurial Equivalent to "Easy Street." Many
newcomers to internet marketing fail to truly appreciate the hard work that goes into
achieving success online. Either they think that all they have to do is set up a website and
the traffic will magically appear, or they fall prey to the sales pitches of “All the Traffic You
Can Handle” swindlers and wind up promoting their site with services that are either
outdated, ineffective or both. Fact is, there is no such thing as a "free ride" either offline or
on. If you are going to achieve success, you are going to have to work at it.

2. Changing Courts But Sticking To the Old Rules.

Many entrepreneurs, who are bringing their offline businesses online, fail to appreciate the tremendous difference
between Web-based and brick and mortar marketing techniques. Unlike its off-line
equivalent, internet marketing must encompass a global marketplace yet be targeted
toward a specialized niche, and the ads must be designed to catch and hold a prospect’s
attention in a split second as he/she hops around from site to site.

3. Bargain Basement Mindset.

While it is true that it costs a lot less to start up a business online than it does off, many newbies are all to quick to jump at the great deals
they can get on hosting and do-it-yourself web design - thereby just about dooming
themselves to disaster from the get-go. Number 1 rule of conducting business online: you
cannot afford to scrimp when it comes to setting up your website.

Not only must a Web page attract a prospect’s attention in a flash, it must hold their
attention long enough to make its pitch.

Do not underestimate the importance of learning
how to effective write sales copy. Above all, your site must look professional and be easy
to navigate. If a prospect can’t find his or her way around your site or a potential customer
can’t find the order page, all your marketing efforts will be for naught.

4. Shaky Commitment to Success:

While it is true that some internet marketers seem
to strike it rich with a *hot* product right from the get go, for the vast majority of us, the
road to success is a slow and steady one.

The old adage "Rome wasn't built in a day," still applies. Just like in the off-line world,
you must nurture your online venture and give it some time to grow.

But all too many newcomers to Internet marketing fail to appreciate this, and when their
new ventures fail to take off "overnight," they blame the medium for their lack of success
and give up without giving their ventures the time they need to succeed.

You must be committed to your success if you are going to succeed! You must be willing to
take setbacks in stride, to learn from your mistakes, re-tool and above all, stay committed
to your business and personal goals.

Simply put, if you believe in yourself and what you are about, you will succeed.

You will take your mistakes and failures in stride, and persevere in attaining your goal.

Whether it is import or export, the best thing is for one to be gainfully and legally involve in fruitful venture. I know someone who is making it like mad exporting charcoal. I also know people who are very very comfortable importing valuable items to Nigeria too.

The main thing is, be positively engage in something tangible under the law.
