With the above picture, if you have seen the iPhone 6 you will understand the similarities between the two phones. The front panel of the HTC One A9 is nearly identical and also the curved glass. The HTC branding logo is also placed above its rectangular home button compared with the iPhone’s round home button. It is very difficult to differentiate the the A9 and iPhone 6 design.

Gionee is still aiming high this year and they are quite busy in the android market, the Chinese smartphone manufacturers is set to launch there flagship smartphone with the code name Elife S8 in an event next month at the MWC 2016.

Gionee will also introduce a new feature in the Gionee Elife S8, the “hassle-free photo-shooting” option and “pressure-sensitive” display as we have recently seen on the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and Huawei Mate S.

Gionee also launched the Marathon M5 Mini with 4000mAh battery capacity here in Nigeria on wednesday which also got the same specification with the Marathon M5 Lite. It just got higher RAM, SoC, and inbuilt storage capacity.

Gionee previously launched the Elife S7 with a sleek body, the phone is 5.5mm in thickness. The phone was ery famous due to its slimness and sleekness, it was also launched at the MWC last year. There is no official price for the Gionee Elife S8 yet but its going to be affordable as usual.

i swear you really don't use up to half the capacity 4gb ram. So 4gb of ram on an android is more than enough. 2gb ram would do. If you buying an android phone because of it's 4gb ram, them I as an IT Consultant would tell you that you either wasted your money or you subconsciously bought it for other reasons but not for the ram.

Huawei issued the launch invite on Monday for the upcoming Mate 8 flagship smartphone on November 26,the phone’s spec was spotted in the GFXBench benchmarking site.


If you take a look at the picture you’ll notice its speculate to have a 6-inch display with Full HD resolution. The Kirin 950 processor is present, although it is clocked at 2.2GHz and not 2.4GHz as previously speculated. The fact that there is 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage implies that this is the higher variant of the Mate 8, because the lower version is believed to feature 3GB and 32GB of storage. Finally, where it was thought to use a 20MP rear snapper, the benchmark says it is instead a 16MP sensor.

There’s just over 3 weeks to go until the Mate 8 is officially revealed on November 26. Let’s just wait till then when its officially launched.

Gionee is set to launch the Elife S Plus phablet in India,it first appeared on there official Facebook page as a teaser on there upcoming device. The specifications was later released by some online leakers and market strategies. It came with a nice spec and pocket friendly if you reside in India.

According to the leak, the Gionee Elife S Plus is in the phablet class with a 5.5-inch 720p AMOLED display. Beneath the glass, you’ll find an octa-core MediaTek MT575, which is backed by 3GB of RAM and the storage capacity is listed at 16GB. Other features to note include a 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, a microSD card slot, and Type-C USB charging. The dual-SIM handset will roll out running Android 5.1.1 and is powered by a 3,150mAh battery.

GSM Arena had spotted a rendered image of the anticipated phone in China’s Twitter substitute Weibo. Another image appeared on the Internet on Tuesday. Nokia is truly making a comebak tto the smartphone world.

Spotted by NokiaPowerUser blog, the image appears to be more realistic and could be the actual image of Nokia C1.

According to the leak, Nokia C1 will have a five-inch, 1080×1920 pixel display. It will feature the latest generation Intel Atom processor. The device is also expected to feature 2GB RAM, 32GB storage and might feature a slim metal casing for a premium look.


Most interestingly, the image shows C1 running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

Earlier, Nokia CEO Rajeev Suri had confirmed that the company will re-enter the smartphone market once the contract with Microsoft ends over the non-compete clause. The contract will end in Q4, 2016.

Earlier reports claimed that Nokia will target the Asian markets including India, China and Europe. As part of the strategy, Nokia will unleash its global marketing campaign and official product sites by the end of the year.
