currently in UK myself as M.A and my wife as a dependent for over a month now, we want to start POF for our 2kids aged 12 and 8yrs respectively next week so that we will be able to apply for them towards August ending.

However, I need advice on the following questions;

(1). How much should I put for there maintenance for outside London?

(2). About the issues of my tution ballance of £7,200, should I include it in the new POF?

(3). About the issue of Accomodation/ proof of Address, which for now we're currently living in a sheared 2bedroom apartment and the landlord had agreed that we should use the address as proof of address for their application and later get our own 2 bedroom after the approval of their visas since our NI and UK bank statements carry the same address. My question now is, can we use the address or we should get a new 2bedroom before applying for them? Seriously waiting for response. Thanks and God bless.

Now i got what you were saying initially with regards to if the ECO dig deep. However, if they don't dig deep, that means I'll only need the POF for them only. Meanwhile, in case i want to plan for if they dig deep, what will you advice me to do in order to be on saver side? Thank you as i await your response

The first page of the thread has links to UKVI site stating the required maintenance for child dependant

That being said, the ECO may request evidence of yours and your wife to confirm that funds were not recycled. Your own bank statement may be requested with dates ranging from when you submitted your application till date.

Staying in the UK for three months means some NOT ALL of your maintenance have been used, in that instance please provide your invoices/receipts of rent,bill, groceries,transport etc and other evidence of form A processing or fees paid if your own statement also includes your fees. You will need to do same for your wife if requested

Ensure the account balances out as much as possible

Again this is if the ECO wants to dig deeper

I need full details about how best to make applications for my 2 children 3 months after my arrival in the UK with my wife most expecially with regards to the POF that will not look as if i re-cicle the POF used for myself and wife 3months ago.

Am about to make my application at UKVI but will like your options on the following questions please.

1. Is it advisable to include my former appointment letter, current appointment letter, current Confirmation letter, current promotion letter, current reference letter and Current staff ID, hope they're not too many?

2. Is it also advisable to write a cover letter to ECO explaining in details my study gaps for the past 17 years since i had my first degree.

3. Is it also advisable to just include my CV and forget the cover letter or both?

When you ask if it's Safe...do you mean if it's feasible or possible? Yes, many couples have done this before successfully. As long as you both are in the UK you can apply later for the kids provided you meet all the conditions required for their VISA. [/quote]
