Please house I need little clarification. For those who ever used embassy certification, how is it actually stamped? I think I read somewhere it was mentioned that a set is stapled and stamped together as one, does this mean each document in the set wont bear a full seal and hence wont be useful alone on it's own? Also I'd like to know if Its compulsory that all docs I need for an app should be in the set? Like can I just certify lets say just my degree and waec cert or maybe just my transcripts? Thanks in anticipation fam.

I know eke ironed this last one with obiwann sometime last year but I can't lay my hands on that page again. Thanks in anticipation fam.

You are reacting this way because you read his post with closed mind, you don't want to read anything other than fairy tale story about life in Germany. This is very common reaction in any thread in this section, many hopefuls will see it as negative and start posting like you are doing now but the moment they got their visas and left you hardly see them here again posting because reality had set-in and struggle is real.

Good bruv and all the best with your preparation you will learn from the experience.

smiley
Yea I'll learn to excel despite negativity. I'm not fiending for German fairytales. Ironically, your reaction is also a very common one in any thread, no be oga justwise again? smiley You've just been reading his mind since and analyzing his imaginary subliminal points. Would've made brain if he came out to discourage illegal migration, planning on going to marry some woman for passport and co. Rather his post attacked even students with good intents. I'll be waiting for someone in Germany to read it with "unclosed mind" and say going for studies in Deutschland is not really worth if afterall, that we should stay back (the nairaland buddies he mentioned inclusive)Till then..

I know that many of you will get the wrong end of his post, he was not discouraging anybody but rather telling people to manage their expectation and prepare before leaving Nigeria. Don't expect everybody to come here to tell you what they are going through because people like you will call them enemy of progress and accused them of discouraging you from achieving dream of studying abroad.

Its very easy to dream big influenced by unrealistic expectation while still in Nigeria but when you get out you stopped picking calls from home.

Blood I've seen people point out challenges in nicer ways and even hint on how to overcome most. Atleast that's how we got orientation on stuffs like learning the language et al. What the dude posted from A to zett is negativity. How will that encourage anyone who's out there dreaming quietly? That there's a high chance of regretting? How are people now doing it? How did he do his own? Well I believe only a dummy would let a random post by some dude online daint their aspirations. Keep dreaming bloods, keep working hard, give your very best and always be smart about it all. Trust me you won't have regrets. Das ist alles.

You completely missed the point! Somebody just told you the 'other side' of the reality and you failed to understand that. Wait until you get to Germany and learn the hard way then you will remember this post.

We've all seen such posts on USA, UK, Canadian thread and the rest. He should have nailed the coffin by telling us how he madly regrets ever going to Germany. Who doesn't know over-expectation is bad? When you zoom off without plans or preparations and expect to make a million euros without hardwork , that's what's bad and thats when one would be disappointed. I doubt any smart person thinks that way. Or are you advising ode's? They barely exist on this thread. So everyone in Germany works from 4am to 2am, suffer in school, gets molested by ice block, saves only 50euro per month and ends up frustrated? I didn't know all that. People still come and drop long posts about how horrible life is in the states and blabla and people are still there making it smartly. You even get money to pay bills, come for Naija see if bill even dey for boys to pay (Shey you go get crib before you pay rent? grin ). Abeg for those discouraged una fit bone winter application cos most schools I dey apply to dey only admit like 20 people so I need enough space plus less stress during visa, e no go bad if embassy start to give 5 appointment dates ask us to choose any three we like grin You should ask those your so called nairaland friends what's really wrong.

guy no die o. Lol. Weather bsc or msc once you get here, everything becomes new and strange. If you don't tell your neighbor you are here for bsc, they will never know. Like someone mentioned, work load is the only difference and I agree with him/her but I will also say depending on course your studying. Like me, I have 5 compulsory modules and 1 elective. And minimum of 3 most be registered for exam. Lectures from Monday to Friday no free day. While msc have like 2 free days from Monday to Friday.
All the intendings, I will advice you guys to make research on modules of courses you are applying to study and see if you can cope with it. Don't just look at the name of the course. Example resource management can contain physics, chemistry and mathematics and normally with the "management" a lot of pple will conclude it is a social science course. A Lot of Nigerians in my school are now looking for ways to change course because they can't cope with the physics, maths.they don't even have foundation on them. One saying I thought, I thought will not help here. Danke schon
Exactly the kinda stuff i wanted to hear! Noted cuzz. Which city/school are you in and are you a fresher? No lecture free day huh? Hope it gets better for you smiley

It's more or less the same, atleast we are all students. The only difference basically is the length of program
Mmmm, I see.. Guessing very few B.sc students went via this thread hence the silence on stuffs like study workload, acco, work, and all that. But you have a point tho. Maybe its just me.
Travel / Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Rubbers(m): 7:38am On Oct 29, 2015
I'm really dying to read jst about anything from B.sc students. Experiences and all that, i knw the thread no doubt is masters dominated but isnt there anyone out there at all? Or is the process after being admitted till settling down and life over there same for both parties? Im just being a curious prospective applicant. Goodmorning fam smiley

Wetin I mean be say Estonia no be rich country like Germany so if na that kind intention then no.need to even bother. Secondly those yahoo boys for thier own good shouldn't come here. I majored in Networking and Security in my Bachelor's and I can say with good authority that Estonian Cybersphere is well secured from my impirical analysis so far and it seems like a wired central connected system. Anyone who plans on doing cyberfraud will be caught one way or another it doesn't matter how long, you will definitely be caught. This country is f**king advanced technologically that I can't help but weep for Nigeria. Anyways we are here to acquire as much knowledge as possible and then come back to implement in Nigeria.

You've said it all. A word they say is enough.. I jst wanted you to spell it out officially. More grease.. cool

Sorry for keeping away for a while guys, the life of a software engineering honours msc student isn't an easy one, if you doubt just ask tobi. Its not easy being a student of two different universities at the same time. There's a huge community of Nigerians in Tallinn from what I saw in during my lectures there two days back. Congrats to everyone who is studying here in Estonia, I'm just gonna appeal to everyone here to please keep the flag flying high and not mess up. Lets protect the image of Nigeria this once, just this once please. I know this might sound hysterical but I'd led Nigerian student's abroad and I know thier tendencies to somehow mess up but I'm quite confident on the bunch we have here.

For those planning on coming to Estonia, please if you know your intentions aren't clean then don't come because Estonia "go shock you". Try and balance yourself financially and have a clear plan else you would be shocked. If its going to be your first time leaving Nigeria to any cold/temperate region then be prepared to face some harsh realities in terms of weather conditions. If you plan to come to UT prepare to have extremely crazy good grades and to study double time.

Lastly Estonia is fun, its quite easy to get carried away, if you know you can't balance your social life with an academic life then its better not to have a social life because the bitter truth is that your academic life would suffer. In all its important to have fun, drink beer and meet girls (if you do those kind of stuffs) but don't ever forget your primary aim of coming here......

Best of luck to each and everyone of you

I agree with the first bolded, I have faith in all eesti hopefuls and those of you there already tho, hopefully we won't tarnish that image. What's up with all the "Shock Shock" oga keni explain please for people wey go mistakenly use wet hands go dey change NEPA phase for estonia grin

I'm having a big problem adding funds to my bet365 account.. Anybody experiencing this?
Gtb and Uba CC said its in line with the new CBN policy, that I can no longer fund neither bet365 nor Neteller. Marathonbet and williamhills couldn't be funded as well.

Any solution?
Have u tried visa?
