Lmaooooo!!!! Wahala for who dey selfless o!!!! Noh vex ehn! I still don't get why you need information about the school I am going to, the university I attended and where I work, or how it translates to being selfish. But it's fine. your opinion is yours and you have every right to it. Thanks for sharing. Ifesinachi22: 6 Likes |

Mine was 6months. I cannot categorically say if it'll be a problem or not. But I know if sudden lump sums show up in the statement, you might be asked some questions. Lifeisforliving: 1 Like |

You can google it. It is on their website. https://ng.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/family-based-immigration/after-the-interview/ https://jp.usembassy.gov/visas/nonimmigrant-visas/visa-status-check/ check the part that says issued. But if you don't feel comfortable sending a mail, which I also weirdly understand, just wait out the process. till they contact you. Modelove: 2 Likes |

I actually called them first and I was told to send a mail. I sent a mail to LagosNIV@state.gov I told them the date my visa was approved and that I have not been called to pick up my document(s). I also mentioned that the 10 business days window has elapsed and then went ahead to but my information for them to identify and search their system. They replied and told me to go pick up. They replied the next day. So, I'll advise that you send a mail. I understand your worry. I was worried too. It'll be fine! cheers! Modelove: 2 Likes |

thekingofafrica: Depends on where you work. People are able to save up this much sir. also you can chip in during the interview that your parents would be supporting you. they would most likely ask what they do, and then you can state that. I don't think this should be a problem. |

Loloking: If asked why this school, you can start by saying how good the program is, ranking and all. But if he/she proceeds to ask why not other schools with better ranking, the answer about scholarship would be perfect. Any which way, scholarship is never a bad thing. 1 Like 1 Share |
