It depends on the circumstances, let's take for example a foreign graduate who returned to Nigeria for youth service would have no reason to abandon the programme. Equally, same for a student that schooled in Nigeria and has spent his or her vacation(s) in Europe and North America before.

Else, I will say "No". I would need evidence that I can trust this person to return to Nigeria to complete his NYSC programme.

This person has never traveled out of the country for vacation before. But he's got a house willed to him and jst enrolled for masters program. Do u think think he she go ahead and apply??

Hello house, please what are the chances of a youth corper getting a US visa regardless of the strong ties he or she has??

Please I need to know if there is any restrictions for approving a visiting US visa for a serving corp member
Travel / Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by Rudy007: 11:01pm On Aug 01, 2017
KaptainAfrika:
NONE. YOU NEED TO HAVE STRONG TIES TO NIGERIA, TO STAND A CHANCE OF GETTING A VISA.

Someone once told me, they don't give visa to a Corper in as much as he or she is stil serving. Just want to know how true is this

I doubt if you can use work experience before your degree. They are looking for work experience in the NOC code you are claiming and also remember you have to fill in when you became qualified to practice in that NOC code for which most of them is a degree.

Thanks for d enlightenment. To b on the safer side wud rather use the one year experience I had after degree. Jst thought I could use the 3 yrs experience before degree to gain full points in that aspect

All four parts can be remarked.

Thanks for the reply. I read somewhere on this thread that there's hardly an increase in the reading and listening section after remarking. How true is this?? Please I need to know cos am seruizly thinking maybe I should go for a remark or better still to rewrite the exam and hope for a better score

Please be encouraged. It will pay off soon. I didnt realise though, that the speaking section is done in front of a screen. Mine was a one on one interview with an official! Just the two of us in a massive room and that is how it was for every single person.

Don't give up please. [/quot

Please can we possibly combine 2 results in IELTS. For instance I had a score of 7.5 in listening and 9 in reading for the 1st trial den for the second trial I had a score of 9 in listening and 7.5 in reading. Wen filling my profile can I possibly use 9 in listening and also in reading??

u can request for ur diploma result to be evaluated. But diploma isn't your highest degree. Having 3s yrs evaluated means u still meet the Canadian academic equivalent. Pls anyone with experience can add to this
Thanks so much, I appreciate ur response. Now I kno with my BSc I stil meet the Canadian Academic equivalent.
But can WES stil evaluate both degree together because I might also need it for an admission process in US. Wil it cost more to evaluate both degree together or should I just go wit my highest degree for both Canadian immigration process and US Admission process.

when you request for transcript evaluation what would be sent to WES is usually your degree record. Diploma isn't included. I went through diploma but only my degree was evaluated by WES. I hope this helps
But I am thinking without evaluating diploma result with my degree, it would b a 3yearz program which I think is not upto standard. Do u think unilag also sent your diploma result to WES but it was nt evaluated? How are u so sure?
