Jesus Chrsit was not born on December 25th, so a lot of commentary on here does not even apply.

As Constantine had made Christianity the effective religion of the empire, some have speculated that choosing this date had the political motive of weakening the established pagan celebrations."

Jesus was not born in December at all, no one knows the real date or the season. But by information given in the Bible he was either born in Spring or September.
