Ghana has now recorded 1,032 new cases of coronavirus after lifting the nationwide lockdown 10 days back which prompted mass celebrations
Ghana has recorded more than 1,000 additional cases of COVID-19 since the country lifted its lockdown.

Ghana President Nana Akufo-Addo lifted a three-week lockdown on the basis of “improved coronavirus testing”, on the 19th of April 2020, with the nation recording 1,042 cases, and 99 recoveries at that time.

However, figures from Ghana’s ministry of health yesterday showed that the country currently has 2,074 confirmed cases of COVID-19, out of which 212 recoveries and 17 deaths have been recorded, showing an increase in a number of confirmed cases since the restrictions were eased.

Ghana is the first country in the West African region to lift the restriction on movement.

Juventus forward, Paulo Dybala, has tested positive for Coronavirus for the fourth time in six weeks, according to the Spanish programme El Chiringuito.

Giant Asteroid ‘Half The Size Of Mount Everest’ Scientists Say Will Fly By Earth Today

A giant asteroid will fly close to earth on Wednesday morning (European time) but will not collide with earth according to the National Space Agency (NASA).

The giant rock half the size of Mount Everest, is officially named 1998 OR2, and will fly by at almost 19,500 miles per hour (ca. 31,382 km/h) today (29 April).

The Asteroid 1998 OR2 is thought to be sized between 1.8 and 4.1 kilometers in diameter.
