Maybe, just maybe the white men were right

We Africans are subhuman creatures, We are animals and there is no running away from that.

We cant govern ourselves and the white masters should come back and whip us like the beasts that we are

@Dayo

Barzagli and Zarccado were never that good to begin with.

Serie A is going to look like this at the end of the season esp if Milan buy a defender

1 Milan grin

2 Inter tongue

3 Juve

4 Roma/Fio/Napoli
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: The AC Milan Thread: 2021/2022 Serie A Champions! by sage(m): 7:13am On Jul 27, 2008
Hey Hustler

I really do think we need a central defender more than any other thing.

Nesta always injured, Kaladze not reliable, same with Bonera, Maldini too old

Galliani is a fool to say our market is closed. Hope he is just joking

But meanwhile Dinho was a good buy grin

4za Milan--- Milan 4 scudetto cheesy smiley wink
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: The AC Milan Thread: 2021/2022 Serie A Champions! by sage(m): 2:24am On Dec 24, 2007
I admire Napoli a lot now. They seem to have a better transfer strategy than Milan

Adding quality players under 25. The spine of there team Hamsik, Lavezzi and Gargano are very young but full of quality. If they add a few more young quality players like they plan to then they would be a force to be reckoned with. They just need a better defense and Keeper.

@hustler & I-man

Its good to see Seria A getting back up after a Mediocare last season

Fiorentina, Parlemo, Napoli, Udinese are all very competitive with quality players

Lazio, Genoa and Milan need to step up their transfer strategy
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: The AC Milan Thread: 2021/2022 Serie A Champions! by sage(m): 2:13am On Dec 24, 2007
@Hustler

If i were Galiani, This January i would shop for Amauri, Zambrotta and a fast paced midfielder in the mold of Quaresma that can give us a different dimension in Midfield, like Sergi would have done 5-6yrs ago. Also Milan need to clear the house out during the summer.

But we need those 3 players for a start

The biggest problem Milan have is that the midfield does not have a fast outlet and it creates a huge gap b/w midfied and attack, esp if Kaka is pushed u front

Carlo needs to start playing two strikers and Kaka behind them

Its funny that some Milan fans laughed at Inter for buying payers a lot. Now looks like its Milan's time.
I hope Galliani would not give us BS this winter transfer market
He always likes to say we have 6 shocked shocked shocked attackers and we don't need any other attacking player embarassed.
Sports / Re: 2007/2008 Champions League Draw by sage(m): 1:10pm On Dec 21, 2007

to a lesser extent Pirlo, Seedorf and Rino

@I-Man

Lets watch and see grin

Milan went to Bayern last year and became the first team to defeat Bayern at home at the Allianz Arena

I hope Milan get the big match mentality that they normally get

They would devastate Arsenal home and away

This Arsenal team is also hyped

But to tell you the truth, I dont know who will win. Its a very close call

The tie is very open. Dont count on Arsenal beating Milan. The chances of that happening are much smaller than you expect grin

Sports / Re: The Bundesliga Is Crap by sage(m): 5:10am On Dec 19, 2007
You guyz need to cut the Bundesliga some slack.

Dont kick a league while itz down cheesy

I doubt any of you here watch the Bundesliga. Its no longer at the level it was but at least i can say this for sure: You can never sleep off watching the battle of the playmakers(two of th best in the world) like Weder Vs Hamburg

Meanwhile, a bundesliga first eleven is almost as powerful as that of any league, even the Epl. A trget man (Toni), A midfield with the likes of Ribery, Diego, Van der vart and 2 strong WC ball winners like Frings behind them and defenders Mertsacker and Lucio alog with the likes of Lahm can take on any 1st eleven from any league in the world

Meanwhile
@Dayo Whatz the problem with Bayern. They are misfiring now

JUst to correct something

Maldini and Gattuso werwe both Injured and substituted b/4 Rooney scored any goal.

The first Rooney goal was Bonera's fault, the second Brocchi's. There is a reason both have been on the bench all there careers 4 Milan

This just goes to show just how pathetic some Nigerians are now. A country descending fast into intellectual bancruptcy.

Yeah. More money to the pockets of the criminals/Pastors. Thats exactly what God wants

What a waste of time to even debate this. The criminals will keep on ripping off the guliable

And the gulliable who are foolish enough to keep giving their money to these pastors/thieves probably deserve t be ripped off angry angry

Meanwhile the Criminals keep building bigger houses to accomodate more sheepish sheep

TV/Movies / Re: NBC Bans Airing Of Big Brother Africa (BBA) In Nigeria! by sage(m): 2:49am On Nov 19, 2007
My point though is that we Africans must learn tolerance and accept others ideas. That is the biggest single problem that faces the continent.

We are raised to be very intolerant and disrespectful of the fact that other people have a right to have differing opinions and attitudes that dont impede us in anyway. And we dont realise it

An intolerant continent has a bleak future
TV/Movies / Re: NBC Bans Airing Of Big Brother Africa (BBA) In Nigeria! by sage(m): 2:43am On Nov 19, 2007
@Kobojunkie

Im saying that what happened with CBS and the outcry cannot be compared with MNET

CBS can be watched for free like NTA in and is available on regular TV

HBO on the other hand is gotten by subscription and showcases popular shows like sopranos that families watch and also show nude programs and sex

Nobody, not even the goverment can say that because young people can watch HBO therefore dont show nudity

Measures are already in place. If you dont want to watch HBO,

1 change the channel,
2 off the TV or
3 end your subscription. Simple and short.

You dont go around demanding that because you dont like the nudity HBO shows, they should shut it down so everybody must do as you do.

IF BBA was on NTA then the argument for banning it might be valid.

But since you have to subscribe to MNET, the best thing might be to get MNET to use the style used in western countries so you can include or remove the channel from your subscription list. BUt NOT to go around and demand that everyother person must not watch something because you disapprove of it.
Sports / Re: Who's The World's Best Football Coach? by sage(m): 1:32am On Nov 19, 2007
@I-man

Why you just dey trash the bundesliga like that. Dont forget that only 6 yrs ago, the Bundesliga>>>>>> Premiership tongue

Right now though the premiership has much more money

Football changes a lot

In the 1990's, Serie A>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all other european leagues put together. A Serie A team was always in the champions league final, but thats changed now

Last years Serie A was low quality, much lower than premiership

This year is a lot better

Apart from the big 3, Fiorentina, Parlemo, Roma, Lazio, Udinese and Napoli can compete fully with and also beat the Blackburns, Man city, Spurs, Villa, West ham and any other teams of that Caliber in the premiership

Beides Dayo is right to an extent.

Toni for 4-5 years now is the equivalent of what Drogba was last season.

I wont select any premiership striker ahead of him
TV/Movies / Re: NBC Bans Airing Of Big Brother Africa (BBA) In Nigeria! by sage(m): 10:34pm On Nov 18, 2007
And please

Anbody making the argument that MNET = CBS is dead wrong

MNET can be compared to HBO

CBS to NTA

so that analogy is rubbish

The US goverment can't stop HBO from showing Nudity if they so chose

CBS is a regular basic TV station and does not require special subscription so even 2yr olds can turn the tv on and watch it.

HBO is usually subscribed for

If you don't like nudity, change the freaking Channel or cut your subscription.

Thats what il do, not go around demamding that everyother person stops watching it because i don't want to watch it.

Africans lipsrsealed lipsrsealed
TV/Movies / Re: NBC Bans Airing Of Big Brother Africa (BBA) In Nigeria! by sage(m): 10:28pm On Nov 18, 2007
Just for the record

I dont watch BB neither have i ever bothered to coz i consider it a waste of time and i dont even care if it is banned

But for people to come here an say things like Africa has "morals" and "culture" and westerners dont requires the willing suspension of disbelief to agree with that.

In the most pathetic continent on earth, where intolerance of the right of others to do what you dont approve off is the watch word, bodies litter the road, jungle justice and extreme violence reeks the streets, 7yr old children hawk on highways, incessant conflicts and bloodshed, self inflicted poverty and oppression on the masses, little economic advancement and corruption fully part of the society and human life is cheaper than chicken, i wonder what in the world makes anybody think that the most backward continent on earth has more culture and "morals" than others

What would scare the mind of a person more?

People set ablaze alive or cut to piecies in public and there corpses left to roast on the street, Law enforcement using their uns to smash peoples skulls in public, bribery and corruption as a way of life even in the highest places, poverty and death, bloody rituals, incesant conflicts OR BBA

The above clearly showcases why Africa is where it is now, and why it would always remain like that.
