My Network switches off any time I'm browsing in 3G network mode, I'm using Tecno R7

I'll be happy to get a solution from here.
Do you have custom ROM installed or still the Stock OS?
Phones / All Windows Phones: Have Issues With Your Phone? Ask Or Seek Solutions Here by saibinc(m): 1:55am On Nov 19, 2016
I have checked almost the whole of Nairaland.com forum posts and found that there is none or, at the least not serious thread that is tailored to solving Windows phone users problems and issues they might be facing the on/with their phones so I came up with an idea to create a thread for Windows phone users here on Nairaland.

Whichever Windows phones you have. Either Nokia Lumia branded or Microsft Windows phone brand. Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or Windows 10. You can bring all the issues here and have it solved for you.

Meanwhile, I have a list of some tutorials which I have personally painstakingly crafted for all (Pro and Newbies) who might need them. See the list below:
1. All Windows Phones Firmware Download Page
2. How to Flash All Windows Phones: Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile Phones
3. How to Debrick All Windows Phones: method for flashing Dead Windows Phones

Since most smartphones issues are software related rather than hardware especially, when all software related issues on smartphones can be solved by flashing the phone, reloading the OS or, in the worst case scenario, by debricking the phone; you may attempt the solution on the links above prior to the time I attend your issues.

Thank you.

My infinix Note 2 with one gig ram and 16gig internal memory is very slow. Though I have about 5gig memory free and I am not using a memory card.
Sometimes when I click on the menu, I takes like 40seconds to display.
The phone is just 10months old.
How do I solve this issue? I need help cos it's frustrating me.
This is a simple issue. The phone is simply lagging. Boot the phone to recovery and clear cache from there. Or, alternatively, go to Settings >> Installed Apps >> Clear each app cache from there.

I'm sure it will be fine. Not sure how to do that? See here: ArykTECH Android Phone Solutions

pls help i keep getting 'unfortunately, android service has stopped' on my htc one vx the error keeps popping on after 0.5 seconds making it impossible to use the phone.
i have tried everything from restarting to clearing caches to factory reset but no success. pls help me.

Check to confirm the Android OS on the phone then, download it compatible GApps and flash it on the phone via recovery. It has to be custom recovery. See here: http://www.aryk.tech/2015/07/htc-one-vx-custom-cwm-recovery-flashing_13.html

The custom recovery contained in that link above can be flashed on HTC One VX automatically and you can then use to flash the phone.

Note from ArykTECH On the PDF eBook:
Although, this note is a little lengthy, please endeavour to read through it line by line to the last line and I hope you find it useful and that it is well worth your time.

As suggested by SparklesD who purchased the A B C Package Hard Copy some weeks ago, we have rearranged and reedited the PDF tutorial for flashing MTK Android devices.

In his note he said "Although I was able to flash my first Android device following the guides in the A B C package, I find that the MTK Section is too voluminous and not straightforward...".

Going by this note, we have made two major developments;
1: A complete reedited PDF tutorial on How to Flash MTK Android Devices.
2: SP Flash Tool Possible Errors and Solutions

Analysis: A
We have the following segments in the new PDF tutorial on how to Flash MTK Android devices:

1. How to Flash MTK Android Device: this is where we give you step by step guides with full illustrations (graphics) on how to carry out flashing operations on MTK Android devices.

2. Reasons for Flashing: here, we bring to notice, all the major issues any MTK Android devices may be having that demands flashing. This will help you determine (quickly) if MTK Android needs flashing or not.

3. Alternatives to Flashing: this is where we discussed possible things you can do to resolve MTK Android devices issues without flashing the phone.

4. What to Do Before Flashing MTK Android: because flashing do go wrong at times, we discussed a list of things you can do before flashing so that you may always avert the got-wrongs of flashing.

5. List of MTK Android Devices and their Stock ROM Download Links: here, we list 19 commonest MTK Android device brands and their stock ROM / Firmware download links.

6. Terms Used in Flashing: here, we list about 20 terms that are commonly used in flashing MTK Android devices and their meanings. Because A B C Package is aimed to train you from scratch, this is an essential part we have to touch.

Analysis: B
SP Flash Tools Possible Errors and Solutions which was included in the tutorial on How to Flash MTK Android Devices has now been completely separated.

This document, SP Flash Tool Possible Errors and Solutions serves the purpose of a Dictionary to your grammar.

Whenever you have any issues using SP Flash Tools refer to the SP Flash Tool Possible Errors and their Solutions. You will definitely find your answer in it.

Please, check these documents in your Mega account under A B C Package >> Android >> MTK Android >> PDF Tutorial.

Go through the documents and give us your feedback.

I've thought about that too but will I be able to receive sms if I should do that?
Yes. With both options, you will be able to receive SMS but the second option won't let you send out messages.

I use gionee marathon m5, and its about 3 weeks old.
The problem is that it lags/hangs once a while and it gets so hot all the time when in use. Pls what do I do?
If warranty covers it still, your best guess is to return it.

Engineers in the house, please help, ever since I started using my android phone, it has been sending premium text messages without my permission. Both sims are sending the message. MTN charges ₦15 which is sim 1 while GLO charges ₦10 which is sim 2. I've called customer care of both network and they're not helping. Glo said the number is not showing on their side. Just a name which is USA 1. I've lost a lot of cash to this rubbish. My phone is Gionee M5. Please help.

Note: I don't see any trace of text message in my sent message folder but I some times get a pop up message which says "last sms cost ₦15 or ₦10 and sometimes I don't get it.
You have 2 options to put an end to this malfunction:

1. Flash Custom ROM on the phone.
2. Change your SMS Centre number to a wrong one. However, in that case, both intended (original message) by you and the automated message will seize to go.

I supposed you know how to do that.
Have any questions? Let me know.

Please help!! I noticed some viral files/app (engriks, pro n others) were automatically downloaded on my tecno F7..these files have refused to be deleted..they are freezing my phone each time I switch on my data...I have done normal flashing, but they remain resolute....WHAT DO I DO?
Thanks
Normal flashing is not the solution neither will you find any antivirus or spyware/malware remover that will remove it.
The solution is risky but it sure work for all the phones I have used them with. Just format/Nuke the phone before you flash it.

Please I need help. I flashed stock rom for my gionee marathon m5, and since then I have been getting invalid imei number. I tried using mtk droid tool and SN Write tool but to no avail. Can anyone attach a full back up of his rom for me to download or suggest to me how I go about with it? Thanks.
Full backup of another ROM can't help. The most formidable solution is to restore the previous ROM if you have backup or use Mobile Uncle to restore IMEI and Xposed for mac address.
