Politics / Re: Defence HQs releases photos, names of soldiers murdered in Okuama, Delta State by Saintinoo(m): 2:26pm On Mar 19 |
chopnaira: That is the way of these people. Soldiers have been dying everyday in the NE, killed everyday in the SW but since some people took over the army, they now publish the name and pictures of soldiers killed in battle with bandits in the SS just to score some useless political goal. Can they do this with the Northerners? |

Winning123: Lols, most of you Yoruba are really not smart. An average Igbo man does not care about election, and you must have seen that as most of us have political apathy. And I believe your region are enjoying the election win so well. |

kunle4toyeyaho: And I can see how you are cure enjoying the national politics, with your region being the worst affected with current economic meltdown. I see how you align and okay national politics well by calling for attack against a people because some criminal elements or bandits attacked the army. How many of you lots have called on the army to kill people in the North because of an attack on the army. Why are you guys this hypocritical for God sake. |

livinbygrace: Just like you have asked for the Northerners to be killed because bokoharam and bandits killed some group of soldiers? Have you ever called for people in Borno and Sokoto to be killed because some solider lost their lives their? Stop the hate, it will take you guys no where. |
Politics / Re: Okuama Killings: Soldiers Invade Igbomotoru, Bayelsa, Burn Houses, Kill 11 by Saintinoo(m): 1:53pm On Mar 19 |
toyinid78: Hundreds of soldiers are killed in the North, I didn't see anywhere you guys asked for attack against the Northerners, or you think some youth and women attacked the army and killed 15 of them well armed? The hate is too much, and that is the fact. |
Politics / Re: Okuama Killings: Soldiers Invade Igbomotoru, Bayelsa, Burn Houses, Kill 11 by Saintinoo(m): 7:07pm On Mar 18 |
Saturnalia: It will soon reach Ogun and Ondo, if not the Army, because you control it, bandits will show you shege. Keep rejoicing. What do you people want for God sake. Army kills innocent people in SE you rejoice, now Army are killing innocent people in SS, you are rejoicing. This says a lot about your tribe. 76 Likes 10 Shares |
Politics / Re: Please Which Promise Has Tinubu Kept Since May 29? by Saintinoo(m): 7:00pm On Mar 13 |
iwaeda: Tinubu has kept most of the promises he made. He stopped paying subsidy on petrol, continued from where Buhari stopped. The only promise he didn't fulfill was to turn Nigeria completely like Lagos, where only a few rich men can survive, but i believe, he will soon achieve that feet. 1 Like |

TunezMedia: The people who have vowed to oppose what ever the Igbo supports are somewhere crying but will never accept defeat. In 2027, they will still vote for APC to justify their hate for the Igbo man. They voted for Buhari twice against GEJ and Atiku just because the Igbo supported a different candidate, now they voted for another failure against the man whom was projected to lead Nigeria to glory because they wanted to teach the Igbo a lesson. Well, let they strongest survive. 11 Likes |
Politics / Re: Prices Of Some Items In South East by Saintinoo(m): 5:39pm On Mar 10 |
Ofodirinwa: Lol, that is the only one you know. Too many economic activities means that there are too many goods waiting for fewer buyers, with that, price drop. If you find yourself in a street where 100 people are selling pure water, pure water will be cheaper in that street than one which have only five pure water sellers. That is the situation in Onitsha, reason why things are relatively cheaper than in other Southern cities. |
Politics / Re: Prices Of Some Items In South East by Saintinoo(m): 3:09pm On Mar 10 |
igwebuike01: How many 4 deckings are in Enugu entirely? There are more than 1000, yes one thousand 4 deckings in Awada alone. Ask anybody that knows Onitsha, when we talk about 4 decking in Igbo land, Enugu is compared to Ebonyi state, so as such, we don't count Enugu as states with 4 deckings. |
Politics / Re: Prices Of Some Items In South East by Saintinoo(m): 3:02pm On Mar 10 |
michlins: In Onitsha, you only buy Jumbo size bread for that price. Lovebite normal size bread is 1400. |
Politics / Re: Prices Of Some Items In South East by Saintinoo(m): 3:00pm On Mar 10 |
igwebuike01: If you look at the 4 deckings in Awada and Omogba alone, you will know that Enugu does not have 4 decking building, that is the reason we don't categorize Enugu as state with 4 decking. Even Owerri has more 4 decking than Enugu. |
Politics / Re: Prices Of Some Items In South East by Saintinoo(m): 12:55pm On Mar 10 |
Entprys: That is one thing about economics, Onitsha is economically busy than Enugu, there are many sellers and same commodities, of course, there will be competition to sell, if you don't sell at a price they buyer wants, someone else will want to, so there is consumer power. In terms of houses, Onitsha has the highest rental houses in Nigeria, as 4 decking houses are scattered all over the town. In Enugu, you will hardly see, 4 decking building, hence the high cost of most bungalow in Enugu. 2 Likes |

DevilsEqual: What do you people especially the Yoruba's gain from spilling lies, unless they sent for food such as Amala and ewedu leaf that is not found in Awk. Let me clear your doubts, you are talking with someone who lives in Npkor and who is into the food business. Paint of rice good grade is #4500 in Npkor, you can never get that in Southwest. Paint of garri is #1600 in Awka. Paint of iron beans is #4400 in Nkpor, you can not get that in Lagos Paint of UTC tomatoes is #3500 in Nkpor, you will not find UTC tomatoes that cheap in Southwest. In fact, most of us selling rice and beans in bags in Onitsha/Npkor are complaining of not making good profit because it is cheaper compared to what our counterparts in Asaba, Warri and Lagos sell. When you want to lie, don't do that in a public forum. I repeat, your corper friends are sending Yoruba foods like Ewedu and Amala which can not be found in Awka. 7 Likes 1 Share |

NigerianAngelo: Someone with just wake up come online and start writing figures and generalize to a whole region, which part of the East did you get this fiqure because in Onitsha; Lowest grade of local rice is sold at 40k (10 paint rubber) Pure water is 350 per bag Keke rideis between 100 to 200 naira Cooking Gas is 1300. Note, Anambra is by far one of the cheapest place to stay in the whole Southern Nigeria, as there is too many economic activities which brings competition and by extension, price reduction. It will shock you that a 3 bedroom flat is just 200k and 240k depending on how new the house is in Onitsha. 32 Likes 4 Shares |

Ola9ja23: Who told you tolds deadwoods policy makers are economists? They saw the dollar at 700 naira and took it to 1500 naira, they saw inflation at 21% and took it to 30%, they saw the economy at a balance rate and took it to doom. One thing people like you do not understand is that your politicians and their appointees are there to make policies which will only favour them and their friends. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Ibrahimcoomasie: Hahaha I swear this country is cruise, many people are ignorant as such the government are taking advantage of their ignorance. Which one is naira equivalent of price of petrol in other countries, why not tell us the price in their own currency. Imagine the price of fuel in Ghana is 50 cede and you tell me that it is 2000 naira equivalent. When making this, you look at the purchasing power parity of the currency against the other currency. If fuel is 50 cede in Ghana, and when 50 cede is changed to naira, it become 2000 naira, fuel is cheaper in Ghana than in Nigeria because they are different economy with different PPP. You don't compare price of goods in other country with equivalent of your currency with there own. 1 Like |

Acidosis: I gave you a good analysis of how an economy work, but as usual, you are beating round the bush with data probably from worldbank. I will continue stating more facts just as I have done in the last post. Go back and check the contribution to GDP in the last two years, only trading came second to manufacturing sector in GDP contribution. You have refused to answer any of my questions, but rather you continue beating around the bush. Tell me the co operatives that can give loan to the MSMEs you are talking about, what do you think grows a nation economy? How many businesses in MSMEs produces most of the FMCG in Nigeria, you think it the local bread producers that grow the economy? For your information, most businesses in SMEs depend on big manufacturers for raw materials for their products. I know people who no nothing about the economy when I see one, always bringing forth data they saw online without a critical analysis if these data can be compared to developing economies like ours. There is really no need arguing about the economy with you, because I so much believe that you know nothing about economics aside going online to download data as a point of argument. For your information, I carried out my thesis all by my self, with the help of a professor, and can defend that anywhere in the world. One last thing, I will tell you this as a trained economist, you do not compare different economies in order to getvyour economy working, so keep comparing Nigeria to UK shows that you know nothing about what you are saying. Go to your state, probably ask the businesses over there to shun banks and collect loans from co operatives. Akara selling economist. 2 Likes |
