It’s not just Northerners…

It’s both northerners and Igbos.

They are joining hands to feed Tinubu a taste of what he served Jonathan.

Everything that went wrong under Jonathan was orchestrated by Tinubu.

Now, he came and kidnapped the people’s mandate and thinks he would have it easy.

He’s a joker.

And his supporters are bigger jokers [/quotep]

What has Igbo got to do with Tinubu government again, is the Igbo tribe in charge of security or the BDC? How do we sabotage the government?

Your attempt to superimpose your opinion by accusing me of ignorance when I am only stating the obvious shows how sentimental you’re regarding the issue…. What I’ve been trying to point out is that Nigeria experiencing massive devaluation under the military does not negate the terrible state of our situation today…. We moved from military to civilian rule to correct the wrongs you’re pointing out…. Did it get better? The answer is No…. Are Nigerians supposed to be worried…. The answer is yes…. Whatever happened during military era is history…. what matters is now…. Successive civil governments failed Nigerians and made it worse…. The Naira is now on free fall losing value per day…. Massive surge in prices of food and services with no increase in salaries…. Insecurity is now worse and it was not this bad during the military era…. As I said your attempt at trying downplay the situation or absolve current government by blaming military while calling me ignorant and a child shows you’re only sentimental and economical with the truth which is that Nigeria’s economy is on the brink of total collapse….

That guy is a paid Tinubu supporter, for your sanity, stop arguing with them, they were paid to defend the government online, you can never win them.

The economy is not on the brink of collapse
Dollar exchange rate is not what determines our economy

The dollar exchanged for 75 kobo when Buhari took over in 1983 in 1998 when the military left it was 80 Naira

That is the equivalent of moving from 500 to 1 to 50000 to 1 in 16 years
So all you kids With your catastrophization talk should remember we have seen worse
a lot worse under Babangida and his so called structural adjustment programme.
Yes in 1984 a bottle of coke was 30 kobo and a loaf of bread 10 kobo what did it cost when they left in 1999?

We have seen he'll in this country . Imagine what was happening every single year under the military for the Naira dollar exchange rate to shift from 75 kobo to 80:Naira in 16 years

It moved from that 75 kobo in 1983 to Four Naira in 1985 when Babangida took over in less than two years
At some point Babangida was quoted as saying he did not understand why the economy had not collapsed

Dollor exchange is one of the factors that determine our economy, sadly it is so, we import almost 80 percent of what we use into the country including petrol, so it is a determining factor of our economy. Very important one.

I keep saying it, China will give an arm and a leg to have an exchange rate like this. Imagine that you were an exporter and were paid USD10,000 that will be 14 million, so while exporters are smiling, importers and being an import dependent nation will be crying.

It doesn't work that way. When you buy abroad, you buy in foreign currency not in naira. There can only be a change, if there is a deflation in that country.

1$ is like 1350 won in korea and they have one of the best stable economy in asia.

I think naira devaluation can benefit Nigeria greatly if we play it well but we just don't have many establishment that can earn us a lot of forex. Dangote refinery is going to take at least 6 months to fully come on board and see its benefit

You started making sense but later got confused. Why do you need alot of forex when you can stop using more of it. Korea economy is good because they use what they produce, so there is little need for forex, why will Nigeria import petrol, when we have the capacity to refine our own petrol.

Sha, I stopped complaining about Nigeria economy. Any day I wake up, I pray that God give me my daily bread.

I think with the increase in pump price of fuel, and considering the fact that you have to ask if 2.5m naira can get a decent car, you shouls suspend that idea of buying a car for now. Fueling and maintaining that car might gulp 2.5m naira before the years runs out. My two cent though.

Kidnappings in Abuja and the Southwest states, bomb explosions in Ibadan and Kaduna. I remember, during the Buhari led administration, it was the entire Northwest, his subregion was a battle ground for bandits and all forms of kidnappings.

Nigerians, especially those living in Southwest and states closer to Abuja should brace up for what might come in the next four years, the people sponsoring this shit know exactly what they intend to achieve.

I thought that with the level suffering inflicted on the masses by the Buhari led administration, we all agreed that nothing like APC at the presidential level again. But then, it was some peoples time.

What saddens me is that when we go against APC, they believe we are against the Yoruba tribe, same thing that happened in 2015, the Northerners thought we were against the North. If Buhari and Tinubu are what the North and Southwest can produce, then it says alot about them as a people.

My ex husband and I are divorced 2 years ago. He recently acquired an European citizenship, he also wants to extend the citizenship to our son. Though I thought it a good idea but I can't shake the feeling that he is trying to use that to take him away from me.
He told me our son will need to come over there to finish the process of his citizenship. But when I went to submit the "application" what I saw on it is different from what he told me. The paper read that I am consenting to my son to go and reunite with his father. Or is that the way they process it?
Please those that have gone through same should please come to my aid, this is my only child and I can't afford to lose my child this way.

Married people and their problem. I hope the European citizenship is not what is making you paranoid here.

There was a comparison made before the so called ‘elections’, that showed developmental indices between how Anambra and Lagos improved after the 8 years of Obi and Tinubu governance in their states. HDIs for Anambra after Obi improved much more than those for Lagos after Tinubu!

One thing we’re all in agreement about is that even Goofy could ‘govern’ Lagos or Nigeria and they could still blag that they ‘performed’! But any misgovernance in states like Anambra, Abia, Ekiti, Osun, Kogi, etc, will show and the impact felt immediately! Lagos and Nigeria can get away with propaganda more easily than the aforementioned states!

For your own sanity, stop arguing with these Tinubu supporter, they will make you look stupid like them. I stopped arguing with them for long. Giving the resource and position box Lagos, even a kid can govern Lagos. Lagos should be in pair with places like Dubia, comparing Lagos and Anambra state mean that those who governed Lagos in the past all failed.

Again, for your sanity, stop arguing with Tinubu supporters.

1.7m in Tinubu's Nigeria is rubbish. No thanks to inflation and high dollar rate.

Do you know that at child both a considerable amount of that money would go into the hospital expenses. After being discharged from the hospital, there are still other things you'll have to keep buying.

Baby soap and cream.

Napkins.

Baby milk formular.

Baby clothes.

Routine medical checkup.

Coupled with your regular household expenses.

If he does this consistently for 3 months, that 1.7m would finish.

That Akara woman, that civil servant earning 45k have also birthed children in the same inflation. You think saving 1.7m in this Tinubu administration is easy?

1. Excessive Flattering; they do this mostly through texting. "I am the luckiest girl to have you", "you a manifestation of God's grace in my life", "my King", "Ifemi", "I can't wait to be called Mrs ..." The list is endless

2. Pathological lies; she will fabric lies you would find more convincing than the holy book. You would hardly have any reason to doubt her.

3. Tears as a weapon; she would cry you into making illogical compromises for her. Like commitment, your time, your money, hating her ex's.

4. Playing the victim; they tell you how everyone had treated them bad; their father, mother, brother, exes. This in combination with their tears would almost make you to kill for them.

5. Laziness and entitlement; she thinks she is pretty and her boyfriend should pay all her bills.

6. Sex as a weapon; she refines her art of sex, it one of the potent weapons in her arsenal.
Lemme stop here. See I no read am for books o. I suffered for years in her hand before I japa.

Yes, I agree with the lazy part, I could remember asking her to do some hustle, which I will fund but she got angry and changed it for me.

The sex aspect, she made me think sex with her will be the most precious thing on earth, all was to vet me committed.
