I wanted to DM you but I know you'll be inundated with such by now. I have been asking this question and no one seems interested in answering it.

Please eh, what's the rough number of new entries PwC might likely take for next FY? I once heard 100 for assurance at a time. Then I heard 100 for graduate associates and 30 for Tax Apprenticeship guys.

Please, could you help us answer this?

Will be very grateful.

Probably around same number this year. Last year, assurance and advisory were a little above 100 while tax was 30 something.

Hello guys when I applied we were grouped into two categories. They were specific that Advisory role needed cognate experience but tax and assurance didn't need any. I went for tax and assurance but it seems tax and assurance are two separate roles. When madam Toyjn asked me what role I applied for. I said assurance. For those with pwc interview experience, does this have any effect on the kind of questions I should expect on interview date?

It doesn't.

Sent a pm too please

I haven't gotten yet. But I am still expectant. Or, has the sending of mails ended??

Its too early to come to that conclusion. Just be hopeful.

Goodluck.

Pls are you insinuating that this interview is the very last stage of the recruitment process? I mean after the interviews they are currently sending invites for, next is offer letter?

You are correct. At least based on historical data.

Just got a success mail too.

Congrats guys. Just one more hurdle to cross.

I would advice you immediately go as far back as 2015 to gain valuable insights as to the kind of questions asked during the interview.

One method I used was to write down all the questions asked (excluding the questions that appear to be similar) and try to tackle them as if it was an interview session.

For those without interview experience, this may be the perfect time to get to work. Practice, practice and practice.

Once again, congrats to those who made it.

For those who didn't, pick yourself up and keep pushing.
The tax apprentice programme should start sometime next month. You can start preparing for that.

Thanks for the insight, I appreciate your contribution so far. God bless you

Please do you also have any idea what this verification test is all about?

We cannot afford the luxury of underperforming at this stage, not after we have all passed the first stage.

The verification test is similar to what you did before, just less time to perform. Keep practising your SHL materials and you should be fine.

Sadly, I'm 26 already.

But it's all good. I have a little over 1 year audit experience.

Maybe, I'll try investment banking. It looks like a tall order already.

Thanks for the response.

Does not matter bro. People got in even at 26

Thank you very much ...I will be waiting for their graduate trainee door to open

Be on the lookout for the application between January and February. Also, you can check the early pages of this thread to get the study materials. Try and study them diligently, at least that would afford you the opportunity to scale through the first two stages

Hello @holuwakore,

Could you help with directions to JKK Annex Building, 229 Ikorodu Road, Anthony Bus/Stop Ilupeju please? I will be journeying from Apapa. What bus should I board first, Ojuelegba bus? Please help o

If you can get a bus to Ojuelegba, Your journey is half way complete. From Ojuelegba, take a bus going to Ikeja. Tell the driver you want to drop at JKK building or Anthony bus stop. If they drop you at JKK, thats better. If they stop you at Anthony Bus stop, that should be under a bridge. Walk back from the direction from whence the bus came. cross the pedestrian bridge to the other side of the road and continue walking for some time, you should see the JKK building.

Just make sure you keep reminding the conductor because the place is closer to Ojuelegba than to Ikeja so they don't take you very far. And also ask someone in the bus to remind you when you get to JKK or Anthony Bus stop just incase the conductor forgets

so juve is also a step up?? or you think he can't go to China to make money??dude wants to prove himself...let messi try it too

Brother, Ronaldo also has nothing to prove. In as much as I am a fan of Messi, Ronaldo is a fantastic player. I very much believe Ronaldo is leaving because of the way he was treated the previous season, both by the Spanish tax authorities and Real Madrid, When he didn't start the season on a good note. Remember he almost wanted to leave last season too.

And mind you, Juventus is a big team no matter how you look at it. They have been in the champions final before. They have won their league for 3 or 4 seasons straight. They almost knocked Madrid out of the champions league last season. Don't make it sound as if he is going to Everton or AC Milan.

Even if Ronaldo had stayed in Man U all his life and still achieved what he did, I wouldn't rubbish his achievements.

FoolishBoy419:

Barcelona helped messi when he was faced with a life threatening illness as a kid by paying for the bills which his parents couldnt afford. Why should he leave such a team?

Your head too correct. I keep telling people that why would Messi leave after what barcelona did for him. People would hail the likes of Scholes, Giggs, Xavi, Maldini and Totti who were one-club players, but when it comes to Messi, its a problem. Madrid and Barca are the two biggest clubs in the world. Why would anyone want to leave. Ronaldo left Lisbon to Man U because Man U was an upgrade from Sporting. He left Man U for Madrid because Madrid was also a step up. He is probably leaving Madrid now because he wasn't respected enough last season because He didn't start the season on a good note (Same reason Zidane left).

Messi has nothing to prove (except he wants to go to China to make way more money grin)
