hayqinsbFX: Thanks for your response. @hayqinsbFX I meant, I read human physiology and I currently work with a telecoms coy. To study Health systems management, one should have a knowledge of medicine and be familiar with information technology too; considering my background in health and current work history with the telecoms industry, I actually fit into the program. I finished school in 2007 and served in 2009. There was an internal strike that lead to me being delayed for service. After my service in 2010, I got a job in telecoms in 2011 and I've been there since. I'm single and in my 30's. My annual income is about 850k. I actually think I wrote a good SOP, would not mind if it could be reviewed from another perspective. Thanks. |

Sorry guys, this is might be a long post, i apologize in advance but I just want to be somewhat detailed. Hello and happy new year to all. My first application was delayed on 15-12-15, submitted on 21-10-15 via paper route. It was delayed on the grounds of family ties, length of stay, purpose of visit and personal assets. I did not include my personal statement of account as I didn't have much in it then. I paid part tuition and thought I wrote a convincing SOP. Well, I've written to the school for a deferment to September. I intend applying in April while I let my personal SOA run and build within this period. Kindly access the following documents I intend submitting and please give advise if imm good to go or not. Thanks all. Sponsor (uncle) - Updated documents I submitted before, considering they did not have an issue with my sponsor. SOP reiterating my purpose of visit and length of stay. I'm going for a post graduate degree in Health systems management, 1yr. I read human physiology and work with a telecoms coy. I explained the fusion between the health system and the IT sector -which the program is about- and how many knowledge and passion for health advancement and current work experience makes me the right candidate for the program and my plans for Nigeria with the knowledge I would gain, but I guess the VO wasn't convinced at all. Moving on, SOA 3 months with about 500k, evidence of being a tax payer, letter of employment, training certificates, retirement savings account certificate, pictures of me at work, university certificate, NYSC certificate, waec, birth certificate, birth certificates of parents, receipt of part payment of school fees. My good people, my question is, will the addition of my SOA, tax clearance, and retirement savings account address the issues of concern? That is of course including a better and more convincing SOP reiterating and highliting on my purpose of visit. Kindly advice guys. To the gurus in the house, I welcome your kind opinions. Thank you for taking out the timed to read this. |

iykedare: You don't pay via atm. It's still an online bank wire process. If you've got a Visa card, it's a staigth forward process and their web page makes it quite easy to follow. Take your time and check it out. |

iykedare: Don't bother about all that. If you have a valid Visa card, the process is one way. Pay online, via the peer transfer web site - now flywire- the money will be deducted from your account and you can track your payment. The conversion to naira will pop up once you input the amount in CAD you wish to pay. Best of luck. 1 Like |

Hello guys, if one has tried applying with an agent and doesn't want to try again with same agent, but do it themselves, will I fill the 'Use of a representative form' and cancel the appointment of the representative that was used in the first application or do I just avoid filling the form entirely and fill the 'Study permit questioner' and state that I'm 'Not' applying through an agent? Pls advise. Thanks all. |

Hi guys, congrats to the folks with the trv's may God lead you all to succeed. I need some information guys, applied through an agent and got refused via paper route and I will be trying again soon and want to know how soon I should apply. I intend doing this myself this time around via the online route but have no idea as to how to make it happen. Pls what site do I use and how do I pay and go about the process? Last I checked, I saw GC Key and Secure Key Concierge. Do I actually register and pay via this? Pls it's confusing. This is my profile Studied Human Physiology, 2003-2007 There was strike in 2008 which delayed my result and service Served in 2009-2010 Got a job in 2011 with MTN Telecommunication.( a trade partner runs the office) Ad mission is to study Health systems management in fanshawe college. Though it's an IT course, I explained in my SOP that it has to do with the health sector and how my current job in telecommunications has made me interested in technology and since HSM is a course fusing the medical and IT sector, that I was a perfect fit for the Course of study. Docs I submitted are: SOP, letter of admission with evidence of part payment of tuition fees, transcript, NYSC discharge certificate, Employment letter and training certificate, national population commission certificate, WAEC results. Certificate of origin, Affidavit of support from sponsor stating that funds will be available, sponsors passport data page, parents data pages, sister's voters Card, sponsors national population commission birth certificate. Police clearance. Parents affidavit of age. Sponsor: uncle. Same surname. Memo from company stating position and total employee cost on him. 15m (works with a known oil coy) 6 months pay slip Salary account from January to September Pension account statement Annual individual statement of account from Luxembourg Savings account statement from France, Documents of two landed properties worth lots of millions. I guess that's all. Applied via paper route on 21st October Medical call on 9th November Medical done 10th Nevember Denial mail 15 December Reasons: travel history, family ties, length of stay, purpose of visit, and personal and financial assets. I clearly stated my length of stay and purpose of visit in my SOP and CIC forms, the agent was actually impressed with my SOP and so I was. It's clear I need "professional" advise as I clearly got it wrong or got a crazy headed VO. enough said. Pls help a brother out guys. @yungbill @khalesi @joe980 @Zim5050 @tsam01 and ther followers. Gracias!!! |

yungbill: Thanks for the response. Yes I added a police report as it is pe requisite in filling the application. My employment letter states my position, description, annual earnings and all other informations. It will be quite difficult for me to get a study leave letter though. I will add other things you suggested. The duration of my course is one year and yes I did fill it in the questionnaire. The agent was more worried about finances but felt my personal documents were in other and my SOP was great. Guess the VO thought otherwise. How soon can I reapply? The agent wants us to try again with no extra fee required. Also, I do not have pay slips (long story). My old passport has nothing on it. Do I still put it in? Also, the passport I used will expire in August 2016. Do I get a new passport to reapply again? |

Hello all, been reading most threads and it's been enlightening. Went through an agent. Paper Route Biometrics: 21 October Medical mail with stamped passport: 9 November Medicals done: 10 November Denial mail: 15 December. Reasons: Travel history, family ties, length of stay, personal and financial assets. My course of study has just 2 admission times, January and September, so, will defer my admission to September 2016 and try again. Please how soon can I try again. Thanks all. Any additional suggestions are welcomed. |
