With the current situation in the country, so many businesses and individuals are affected. But still, there are some set of people that aren't feeling the hit. Who are these persons?

Well, I'm talking about those that earns in hard currency (dollars, pounds, euro).

Admittedly, these currencies are rarely in use here so businesses and employees see no reason to make it there payment option.

Since hard currencies are not our domestic currency, how possible is it to earn them here in Nigeria? Well, let me tell you for free, earning in hard currencies is million times possible!

Gone the days when one has to travel abroad to be able to earn dollars, pounds, euros, and other strong currencies. All thanks to the internet. It has made it possible to earn them from the corner of our rooms.

Frankly, I still wonder why many people are yet to embrace this great opportunity. They've chosen to continue buying a litre of fuel for 650NGN, pay double for transport fare, work under heavy pressure, then at the end of the month they retire home with just peanuts.

Hear me clearly, if you're okay living your life like this, you're destined to be poor for life! I owe no apology! “God forbid!” you might say, but the raw truth is, Abject Poverty await those that has failed to improve their financial status by increasing their streams of income. That's the reality they should be looking forward to.

How many times will you be told that the only sure way to survive in this hash economy is by multiplying your streams of income?

My guy, the online market is the game-changer now. If you don't belong to this market you're wrong! If you only spend your data on irrelevances and frivolities you're also wrong!

You can't continue praying to God for a financial breakthrough when you're still working on a 30,000NGN salary job. No be juju be dat?

A brotherly advice to anyone it might concern, if you desire your life and standard of living turn around for better, please, acquire a digital skill. You can be a landlord, a Benz owner, a show-stopper by this time next year or less. You can achieve these legitimately now, no need to indulge in Yahoo-Yahoo.

You see online-freelancers, ecommerce store owners, bloggers, content-creators, affiliate marketers are the next big names. Watch out!

I personally, I've found a satisfying life in freelance writing, ebusiness developing, ecommerce stores operations, and selling of digital products.

Take for instance, a piece of 1,000words article I will charge 5,000NGN (five thousand Nigerian Naira) for in the Nigerian market, I will charge $80 (eighty dollars) equivalent to 61,152.80NGN (sixty-one thousand, one hundred and fifty-two, eighty kobo) according to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), for the same content. It's no joke!

Seize the opportunities in this space and enjoy the best life in this troubled world.

Learn a high-paying digital skill.

NB: I can actually teach you some of the things I do if you care (not for free though).

I will appreciate if you'll teach me freelancing. How do we go about it?

Dear Onajite123, I sincerely sympathise with you. I love the fact that you're very considerate of your family.

Your dream of traveling abroad is not a bad one. But since you're having issues raising adequate funds, why don't you wait a little and work on improving your financial status by increasing your streams of income?

From the best of my knowledge, IELTS is valid for a period of 2 years. There is enough time for you to raise money.

Why don't you take advantage of the online market? There are many profitable products to offer in this space. From freelancing to ecommerce store operation. There are quite a number of things to do here.

Since you undergone an IELTS, I'm certain you're familiar with writing. You can make out something tangible from freelancing as a content or copy writer. Perhaps you'll only need a little brush up (training) to kick-start. I can actually teach you for a minimal fee if you care.

I myself is a freelance content-writer and the journey has been rewarding.

Don't allow yourself fall into the hands of depression. It will only worsen your situation by making you vulnerable to bully, sexual harassment and abuse from irresponsible patrons.

Family / Why Do People Do This After The Death Of Their Parents? by SamWales(m): 10:24am On Aug 07, 2023
Hey guys, I've been wondering, why is it that most people don't renovate their house in the village till their old parents are dead?

Is not like they don't have the money to do this, but they will rather wait till the old parents drop dead. Immediately, they will start rebuilding the house trying to complete a 1 month construction project in just 1 week before performing the burial.

Is it that the old parents doesn't merit a good house? Apart from impressing the guests that will attend the burial, do you know of any other reason why people do this?
What is your opinion?

Religion / Facts About Life by SamWales(m): 8:02pm On Aug 06, 2023
From time immemorial, there are many basic facts about life. These facts has lived from generations to generations. We came out and met them. Magically, anyone who adhered to these facts excelled tremendously.

Some of those facts includes:

1. Having positive mindset about everything is good. But still, negativity can still occur. Always prepare your mind beforehand for the worse while hoping for the best.

2. You can't achieve success with prayers alone. Prayer is good, but prayer with hardwork is even better. See this, prayer without work is merely a communication.

3. Organic eating, physical exercise, and quality sleep are 3 essential keys to over-all good health.

4. Wisdom is acquired not inherited from birth. A lot of persons has argued vehemently whether people are being born with wisdom in them or they acquire it. The raw truth is, wisdom is gotten from life events experienced by you or a relation, read in a book, viewed in a video, or listened in an audio record. If wisdom is what you desire, you must invest heavily in books, educational & motivational contents, mentorships, and the likes. Start today!

5. To successfully achieve your dreams, you must let go of your fears. See friend, dreams and fears doesn't go together. You must drop one for the other. Is either you crush your fears to reach your dreams or allow your fears crush your dreams.

6. Forgiveness is truly a source to internal peace. Do it not for them but for yourself and your mental health.

7. Do not put all your eggs in a single basket. Come to think of it, isn't it only a foolish farmer that puts all his eggs in one basket? What if the basket fall? Anyway, when making plans for your life, never with-hold including an option B even C and D. This will protect you from being trapped. When one option fail, you try another.

8. Do the things you enjoy. When scheduling your daily activities, always include 1 or 2 of your hobbies. This will help prevent you from feeling burn-out, tensed, bored, and depressed while dealing with the daily challenges of life. Don't just reserve it only on the weekends. Do it everyday.

9. “When you give to the needy, never expect anything in return”, that's a law of charity. When you give, do it freely with no string attached. Frankly, if you help people with an expectation of something in return you'll always be disappointed.

10. Live for yourself. In this world, everyone won't love you - even if you sacrifice your life for them. Focus on yourself. Never limit yourself from reaching your full potential just for the fear of what people will say or think of you. Let whoever think whatever. Do not displease yourself just to please others. Don't try it!

These are few I can write for now. Share with us, what truth has life taught you?
