Hello bro, just thought you should know a mid-class car Mercedes (W203) and likes of corolla's fuel consumption is quite similar due to Mercedes-Benz having not less than 13 different types of engines, diesel engines too, but the corrolla should not be more than 3 if at all.

My point is; the maintenance culture matters, corrolla parts are expensive as well. Most of the time the spare parts sellers adds money if they notice you don't know what you are doing. You could get a 4 cylinder W203 engine cheaper than that of Corolla. I stand corrected after your findings. If you want to try benz, make sure you buy from Europe, you go fit select the 1.8 and 2.0 options like the japs then you can compare.

The 02 Ml350 you mentioned is a 3.7 V6. I will never suggest that to newbie.

Update :there was no 350 engine until 2005/06
Peace

Habaaaa.....

N2.5m will only get you a good 2007 Toyota Corolla, all because you can't afford the direct tokunbo, which goes from N3.4m-N3.9m

You are yet to get a quality Japanese car for N2.5m, so why go for Mercedes Benz you can't maintain?

Mercedes cars consumes more fuel and neither are the parts cheaper.

But if you insist and feel you must belong in the society and be called a Benz gang owner, then be looking at a Nigerian used 2002 ML350.

Autos / My Experience With Lade007 by sankeh(m): 9:36am On Jun 16, 2017
Like every other person that wants a clean and affordable car(s), I will say this recent dealer turned brother is the best option for deals from Germany.Just a call, since i want to be sure after seeing his posts on Nairaland. Then few days later we got this sweet deal on autoscout24.de and believe me pictures started rolling in of this Mercedes Benz w203, 2.0 manual transmission and full leather with Navigation system. Long story short ehen, i knew every location ship stopped because he gave me all necessary details to track the movement. After that long wait(4 weeks), our customs now added another few days before i got the car. All i can tell everyone on this page is; lade007 is genuine and legit 100%.
