I picked up my passport today around 10:35 am.
Visa granted (tier 4 dependant partner).

This tread has been wonderful.

My timeline:

Online submission: 10th July

Biometrics at Ikeja TLS: 12th July (standard)

Received at Sheffield: 20th July.

Contacted UKVI (enquiry): 27th August.(paid service)

UKVI replied: 28th August

UKVI escalation process mail received: 29th August

Decision update on UKVI website(decided on 28th August): 30th August

TLSCONTACT decision maI'll: 31st August (10:58am)

I checked at TLSCONTACT same day without having collection mail but was told "not ready" at around 3:15pm. For those who think one can get his passport without collection mail.(possible though but try get the mail first).

Later got collection mail 31st August @ 6:29pm
Collection : 1st September @ 10:35am.

I hope this gives anyone that's been waiting for this long a hope.

No wahala, will get there past 10 and update you. I see I'm not the only one who doesn't sleep :-)

I was able to confirm at least from their notice board that their holiday will only be observed only Monday and Tuesday next week.
Its not stated anywhere on thesame notice that today 1st September will be observed as public holiday.

Are you sure? Their website clearly states they are closed on public holidays. Anyway, I am going to lekki early tomorrow, I can check the one on the island and post my finding here. My collection center is Ikeja, but at least we will know if they're open or not.

I learnt TLS will be working tomorrow.
Their holiday will be Monday and Tuesday next week.

The APN seems to be ok. I got the settings from the service provider.
However I was told it requires unlocking/uploading a new file on it or there about.
A repair attendant at slot said the IME or so is corrupt that it will cost me 7k.
Please advise.
