There is Nothing you can do @ this point bro, since you have already innitiated the process of your Admission with that school. Some schools now make It MANDATORY for prospective students to register with EducationUSA as part of the admission requirement due to the high rate of Visa denials. it takes a great deal of divine Intervention before one can get a US Student Visa here in Nigeria. And some students need serious Counselling on what to do in other to make their US student Visa application a SUCCESS!

IF you DON'T register with EducationUSA, the school won't process your admission application.

Because students registering with EducationUSA located will be Counseled, guided & advised on US admission and visa related issues.

My school also made it MANDATORY just few months ago for all students wishing to study, should register through EducationUSA.

So your options are;

Either, You Register through EducationUSA OR You apply to another school that doesn't make this a Requirement as part of their admissions Requirement.

Then you can come here to seek guidiance.. But pls DON'T do it Blindly, Even if you don't go through EducationUSA, you have to come here on Nairaland and seek advice and know the proper step and will guide you through the Whole admission and Visa Process till you get your US Student Visa!

NB: You will pay for the Registration @ EducationUSA. Someone told me the fee they charge is ranges from about 32 -37k. Not really sure about the exact amount of the registration fee, Price is NOT static. It fluctuates. if you intend taking the EducationUSA route, you can get their contact on the US Embassy website and give em a call to make your enquiry. EducationUSA is located @ the US Embassy..
