Fortissimo: Sorry guys for the confusion. My elder brother login in with my account sometimes to follow the trend here. Remember I asked a question here about about having a brother in US and declaring him in my Visa application form. He is been very supportive and guess he just wanted to help. He is SanRamon here. |

kaykad: I am not a student but I can give you some insight from experience. I live in west coast though but I have a lot of Nigerian Friends coming to West Coast for internship. I happened to interviewed a Nigerian, from Cali State Fresno few weeks ago for an Internship. Here are couple of suggestions. (1) Create a 1 page resume. Look for samples online. (2) Create a cover letter- Look for samples online (3) create a LinkedIn profile- Comprehensive profile and search for Internship. (4) contact recruiters on LinkedIn- Send them your cover letter and resume (5) Select the IT companies or companies that you will like to work with, apply though there website. For example my companies always post internship positions on ther career website. HP , Cisco, Sales force and other always have internship positions available (6) You can look for the recruiters of your choice companies on LinkedIn (7) Look out for companies coming to recruit in you schools Look at these site and see what they gat..The will give you ideals http://att.jobs/careers/college/internships/technology-internships http://www.boeing.com/careers/college/it-internships.page https://www.statefarm.com/careers/become-an-intern/IT-internships http://careers.pge.com/university-programs/summer-internship-program/ http://tsocorp.com/tesoro-careers/students-and-recent-graduates/ http://www8.hp.com/us/en/jobs/students.html http://www.adobe.com/careers/university/internships.html If you apply for an internship position, follow up by looking for a recruiter / university recruiter of the company on LinkedIn, send an introductory letter, if he or she responds, then send him your resume and cover. I will talk to some of the interns in my company for more information and will let you know if I have more information for you. Thanks 15 Likes |

Hi everyone, Please i need your advice here and its urgent. "Who is paying for your US trip?" I have a fully funded MSc offer, so should I fill self-funded or university's name? What would your advice please? and there is a question about having relatives in USA “Do you have any immediate relatives, not including parents, in the United States”? I have my elder sister in MN.
