So when you talked about the red lines, where did you get that from, Mr. Tribalist? Or you just wrote and posted without thinking that others would read and respond accordingly?

You are not ashamed. With your world's largest landmass, you live in hardship, poverty and serious infrastructural deficit.

If Otti's purchase of vehicles has taken slep away from your eyes, why should you sleep when hovernors in your own region milk you dry and keep in your perpetual servitude?

Take the dirt of your eyes before referring to others.

Ok, since you didn't understand the figurative expression, I won't bother schooling you. Come to think of it, the Blue and Red line projects are state projects. There are states with more federal allocations than Lagos that couldn't build ordinary 10km metro rail e.g. Rivers... but Lagos was able to achieve that with 0 oil money! Kudos to Lagos state!

You obviously lack understanding and you're incapable of holding an intelligent sociopolitical debate, so it's not profitable to roll in the mud with you. Everything you wrote and will write is for you alone... Keep ranting. 😎

Sit down and shut your very dirty mouth.
Lagos is the commercial capital of Nigeria. Lagos previously was the federal capital. Lagos has the Lagos budget. In all these, areas like Okokomaiko, Amukoko, Ajegunle, Makoko, etc are eyesores.

Rather than address national leadership failure, reckless pilferage of public funds and uncontrollable corruption, you are busy comparing states and their unbalanced developments.

If not that your likes fail to reason appropriately, you should know Ogun state should be better developed than its present state, if not for looting of the treasury.

Oyo state to you is bigger than the entire SE, yet many parts of the state are disgraceful to reside. Why not make proper use of the size to showcase infrastructures comparable to other developed cities worldwide.

LOL.... what does Lagos have to do with this? Is this a Lagos state govt project? That's all you guys know how to do... Lagos this, Lagos that, meanwhile Igbos are fleeing the South East to Yoruba land on a daily basis! 🤣🤣

A region with the smallest land mass, earning reasonable IGR and getting FG allocations should have been far developed! You have very little roads by km, yet nothing to show...

Alex Otti is still busy allocating N1.5B Naira for 2 Toyota Hilux vehicles, you people won't screen your governors... Abeg, I don't even have your time 😎

Mr Lanre, are you sure this is Ogun state? I saw somewhere that it is the Onitsha-Asaba connecting road

LOL majority of Igbos don't check facts on social media, that's why most of you are easily deceived. This is obviously a project in Ogun state...

This means they can also tell you guys that the Blue line and Red line trains are in Aba and you'd just believe without checking your facts 😂

NB: the entire South East (all 5 states combined) is smaller than Oyo state, yet no meaningful development to show for the allocations from FG and their IGR. This means it should be easier to build roads and rails for people in the SE but it's quite the opposite... 🤔

Disclaimer: The above is not intended as a jab to Igbos, I love you all... But accountability must begin at home! For Nigeria to develop, each region must have something to show. Not just to focus on Lagos and Abuja. All states must be livable. God bless Nigeria.

VeeVeeMyLuv:

You guys have no idea the extent of economic damage in the name of reforms. People are no longer moving, travelling, economy is slowly grinding to a halt.

Streets, roads, highways are getting more empty.

The petrol consumption has significantly reduced.

Try to read well before commenting.

DeLaRue:

In this case, some factors have not remained constant.

With prices in August and September hovering above N1000 in many areas, smuggling of petrol to neighbouring countries will have reduced.

Improvement in power supply in certain parts of the country has resulted in fewer people fueling their generators at the same level as before.

Finally, fuel price increase has resulted in many car owners cutting down on their car usage.

These 3 factors have contributed to usage levels crashing.

The bolded is so true... The data doesn't account for reduced smuggling. Since subsidy was removed, smuggling also reduced drastically as the profit margins plunged significantly, so 98% is actually exaggerated.

Personally, I think due to the fact that majority of Nigerians no longer use their generators and low-earning private car users have stopped buying fuel, 70% is a safe estimate and that's a lot still.... shocked

Where's that IPOB idiot that keeps blaming others for the backwardness, barbarity and foolishness of his yeast.

IGBOPROMISE1 , come and see how Nigerians conspired and got this man and native doctor to bury a young man in the name of spiritual fortification.

SE is not a Christian enclave.

They are not Christians but heathens .

Next time they try championing Christianity in Nigeria tell them they are not.

You are right on this. A lot of Igbos claim to be either Catholics or Pentecostal Christians but deep down in the heart of their culture, there is high level idolatry and fetishness going on. Not all Igbos, definitely... There are good and righteous Igbo people out there, even far better than Yoruba or Hausa, so this is not to generalize.

Bottom line, you shouldn't talk down on other tribes when your own people are involved in the same in their region.

The prevalence of poverty is what escalated security issues.

You can't establish order amongst a people that are heavily hungry. . Your leaders needs to understand this foundational principle.

The security architecture in this country needs a thorough review.

The way people get kidnapped and killed calls for a more thorough security approach. The politicians in power aren't much concerned cos they have security round the clock but what about the average citizens who have to go about without police escorts?

It is well ooo. RIP to her.

TBH, I love GRV but he goofed on this one. Sanwo Olu did the right thing and 85k isn't bad at all. The focus should be on implementation and not mere words for media validation.

85k is the highest in the country right now, hopefully Lagos won't promise and delay like their oga who promised 70k minimum wage and is yet to pay ordinary corps members.
