Not to worry. Even if some fail to make pre-payment, it will not be an issue for those who do.

Pls shed more light

Okay, so to be clear, if I express interest in a project, I don't have to pay anything until that campaign gets the total number of backers needed.

What if some of those backers refuse to pay?

Is it a true story?

And pls, for the benefit of some of us who'd like to know, what are campaigns, backers, projects and the promoters you mentioned.
Business / Re: How To Pay Yourself First At The End Of The Month using Fundscheap. by Sarahluv(f): 3:32pm On Dec 05, 2017
Cool, but what if I pay and they cannot get enough people to meet up with the project requirements.
Business / Re: How To Pay Yourself First At The End Of The Month using Fundscheap. by Sarahluv(f): 12:55pm On Dec 05, 2017
Nice summation sir. I really like it that fundscheap is helping Nigerians think big. My only reservation is whether crowdfunding can actually work in Nigeria.
Career / Re: What Will You Do If You Are Sacked Or Fired? by Sarahluv(f): 9:33am On Nov 29, 2017
Starting a business is the best option. Thank God for platforms like fundscheap, any Nigerian can raise funds.

It is always wise for any worker to build multiple streams of income and avoid stories that touch when the days of trouble come upon them.
Politics / Re: Aguiyi-ironsi Killed True Federalism In Nigeria, Says Ishola Williams by Sarahluv(f): 9:01pm On Aug 25, 2011
Katsumoto:

Of course in the court of Law we must always really on the suspect to confess to his crime before he can be found guilty. We ignore all the evidence, statistical, analogical, and circumstantial.

You are quite right with the following
1. Only the non-Igbo members of government were corrupt. The Igbo members were saints
2. Ifeajuna went to have tea with Okpara after killing Balewa
3. Only Igbo officers were over-looked for promotion after 1962 in favour of the quota system. No Yoruba officers were overlooked.
4. The election which brought Zik into the government with Balewa and which resulted in juicy appointments for Ndigbo was not rigged, it was only the election which resulted in less appointments for Ndigbo that was rigged
5. Secession which could have led to war was obviously easier than organising a coup. Of course we all know that the secession bid which followed in 67 was actually easier then the failed coup.
6. No one claimed Ifeajuna was Zik's cousin. Not even Ajuluchukwu who was Zik's right hand man said it. He only mentioned it in his dream
7. The Igbo republican nature was superior to the cultures in the North and as such a bloodbath of personnel from the North and West was the way to bring them in line since their cultures permitted them to be subservient to more senior members of their societies. But of course, British trained soldiers did not have the training to be sensitive to others whose ways were different from theirs.
8. The July 66 coup was also not ethnically motivated. It was pure coincidence that Murtala and co targeted those that they did.

I hope my sarcasm did not fly over anyone's head.

BTW, Your posts are rather too long and convoluted. Responding to them can be laborious and ignoring them may seem like one as acquiesced to your argument. Please keep them brief and to the point. This post is in response to the long one you posted above.

I am not going to go back and forth; we just have to agree to disagree, so I may not reply to another long post. wink

Katsumoto, This is lovely, especially the number eight point. You really analyzed the issue on this thread, and this last sarcastic post truly translates the chain of thought/argument which tries to "detribalize" the Jan 1966 coup.
Travel / Re: Lagos Among Intelligent Cities In The World - Time Magazine by Sarahluv(f): 3:06pm On Aug 22, 2011
Wow!! The statistics on crime reduction is just inspiring. Lagos- the only mega-city in Nigeria!! A State like no other. Other States have two or three local governments that can actually be called cities, while Lagos as a whole is one evolving mega-haven. Slowly but surely, we will get there. I love Fashola. oh. and the man who made it all happen - Tinubu.

@playmode It is welcome ,anything that will lead to the break up of Nigeria is welcome.I am tired of the SW taking orders from Abuja.A failed nation or rather A failed excreta hole.Look at libya today, its citizens fought for something and they have achieved success. The only thing we know how to do in Nigeria is speak grammar and trying to impress others instead of actually fighting for our freedom

the present rot is a product of the shortsightedness of non igbo southerners and i expect they should lead the charge, the rabid hatred of the igbo people by fellow southerners has denied the south its most formidable antidote against northern machinations, how can you assure me that if we decide to come out and confront the oppressors, the yoruba and non-igbo south-south will not turn around to align with the north and unleash another killing spree on our people?, this pertinent question must be answered b4 we talk about any revolution which will involve igbos, the north has used a veritable tool of effective propaganda to build deep hatred of ndigbo in the hearts of Nigerians, the success of that propaganda is what has kept Nigeria under their rule and we live in the delusion that they are not smart, the most foolish Nigerians are those who have been compromised by the northern strategy of mental colonization, the same people who believe they are clever and diplomatic, diplomatic cowards.

I see. Your people were just "sitting peacefully" in their houses, and all of a sudden, non-igbo southerners joined forces with the North to unleash a killing spree on u, right? The South-south down to Lagos were the oppressors you were standing up to, I suppose.

With regards to the alleged private army of Kano State, I am not sure about that; besides, most States have some form of para-military organizations that perform specific duties. I think we will get a clearer picture as time goes on. For now, I haven't seen this private army in operation whenever I go to Kano.

Politics / Re: IBB Fires OBJ Again! by Sarahluv(f): 1:43pm On Aug 19, 2011
cold:

And you say this because. . .?Stop making claims you can't substantiate. What did Obj do in his entire eight years in office that in your words 'eclipsed' IBB's?

It was so bad during IBB's era that Nigeria recorded the most significant riots caused by warped economic policies. Remember S.A.P.? SAP was a pre-condition for us to borrow more money, thereby further increasing our debt profile without any physical development to back it up.
OBJ on the other hand pursued a foreign policy that persuaded our foreign creditors to forgive our debts, hence freeing up funds for developmental purposes.

IBB administration had N.M.A. and A.S.U.U. always going on strike because the take home pay could not take their members home, whereas OBJ gave the sectors where u find these bodies, a living wage, such that lecturers and doctors felt appreciated within their Country.

IBB used our foreign exchange to run a scam. Remember the official exchange rates and parallel market? While officially, naira was N22, it was going for N50 - N80 at the black market. Those were the days when round-tripping was the way to get rich. OBJ on the other hand, maintained a fairly stable exchange rate throughout his eight years.

OBJ created hundreds of thousands of direct and indirect jobs by liberalizing the telecommunications market. Those before him could, but did not liberalize. Today we have Visafone, Zoom, Airtel, MTN, Glo, etc.

In terms of infrastructure, OBJ initiated several power plants in his first and second coming. IBB?

All IBB apologists list in terms of his achievements are that he created MAMSER, DFRRI, OMPADEC, bla, bla, bla.
Politics / Re: IBB Fires OBJ Again! by Sarahluv(f): 12:28pm On Aug 19, 2011
Obasanjo (military) ruled before IBB and achieved more than in few years than IBB achieved in 8 years.

Obansanjo (civilian) ruled for 8 years and totally eclipsed IBB's achievements in 8 years. IBB's excuse? Oil earned more during OBJ civilian rule than it did during mine. OK now,

Let us now compare the Government that has been in place since OBJ left in 2007 since oil prices within the two periods are similar.

2007-2011 - very little achievements compared to OBJ's 8 years.

OBJ clearly beats IBB in all good ramifications. No excuses.
