Most restricted courses process their admission after deadline. I advise you have plan B so that you can meet up with getting AD from the embassy.

Alday:

Deadline: Jan 15, restricted admission. No indication of rolling admission on website
Travel / Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by sassy92(f): 9:08am On Jul 26, 2019
Yes you must have HND or a full university degree or just 100lvl transcript. Germany admission process is straightforward, you can do it yourself instead of overpaying agents. You just need information and it's all here on Nairaland

Obaofusa:
sorry I didn't get to read from the front page. I'm a bit occupied with my job wanted someone who can do it for my brother.

So what qualification can qualify him to study in Germany?
So you mean with normal O'level one can't study in Germany? You must have HND or University degree?
Travel / Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by sassy92(f): 8:58am On Jul 26, 2019
All the requirements are on the first page of this thread. You do not need to pay anybody, just read through the thread, there's a wealth of information here. Also you can't get admission in Germany with ND

Obaofusa:
Good day amazing people.

I would like to sponsor my younger brother to study in Germany his qualifications are (NECO= two seatings) and National diploma in mechanical engineering.

Please can this be done and I'll be glad to find someone who can help in getting admission for him, I don't mind to pay. Thank you y'all

When is the deadline? Check the course website to see if the course is non restricted and if they offer rolling admission (rolling admission is like first come first serve provided you meet all the requirements). As for sending docs to uniassist, it's best to wait till after you apply because you may need to sign the application form and send it along with your documents.

Alday:

1. MSc ORBA
2. Application for the prog opens September 1 via Uniassist but I wonder if sending paper docs to uni-assist earlier before then is reasonable

1. Which course in Magdeburg are you planning on applying for?
2. Application to Magdeburg is via Uniassist so your application will be processed provided your payment and documents reach Uniassist before the deadline.

Alday:
Hi. I'm interested in applying to Magdeburg by September for April 2020 MSc. Are applications assessed for admission after the deadline or during the application period?

Travel / Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by sassy92(f): 11:52am On Jul 24, 2019
Of course you can still apply for masters in Germany. the categories was created by the embassy just to know how to assign visa based on priority, I guess. As for converting your cgpa, ask Google.

See question o. He applied for AD for STUDENT VISA, without AL and BA (or any other proof of sustenance), He won't be given STUDENT VISA. He should apply for Schegen visa instead. As for ADs, please keep praying.

please how can i get Neco Scratch card
Travel / Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by sassy92(f): 9:28am On Jul 23, 2019
You can buy the one printed on paper. Just retype the pin on a larger paper so that it doesn't get missing easily.

babatea10:

Is it compulsory I buy the normal scratch card or I can just buy the one printed on paper, will it be accepted if I buy the normal ones printed on paper, because I can’t get the normal scratch card
Danke...

We've said this so many times on this thread. If your start date is October you might not get a date coz August and Most of September is likely booked out. Your best solution is to mail your school and ask for extension up till November. If your school refuses to extend your enrolment, you may have to defer.

Omalily1:
Good evening beloved ones, please I booked for German visa appointment date for category A since 22 of June and up till now no feedback from them with a date and my school is to resume 1st of October. Please does anyone have an idea of what I should do? Please help a fainting sister here o! Thank you.

No what he's trying to say is if you don't get AD, you can't get visa, which means you won't go to DE yet. You'll have to ask Fintiba for your money back and that's a tedious process. So it's best to wait until you have AD that allows you to meet up with your enrolment deadline before funding your BA. Please and Please those awaiting AD wait until you get a date before funding your account

bjayNL:

I don't understand, are you trying to say if I'm not giving AD. I will loose my money?

The next A1 exams are in October. A1 is very basic beginner level, you don't need to pay money for a language school, you can learn on your own if you are serious and committed.

koloyewo:
Guys I want to write German A1 exam please how can prepare for the exam, I do not want to go to VI for lectures I'm on the mainland of there are tutorials let me know or materials

If you graduated with a 2:2 and already booked appointment please DO NOT CANCEL AND REBOOK O. The embassy changed the conditions for booking Category A to 1st class and 2:1 only a few days ago.
But people with 2:2 who booked before the change will not be affected.
HighPriest0:

Are you sure?
How true is this.... I'm planning on canceling and rebooking oo

No OND won't suffice for BSc. You need HND or another Bsc or 100lvl transcript

odimbannamdi:

Hi Dolpaz, can one pursue a B.Sc degree with an OND certificate as well?

Don't give up yet. Have you gotten enrollment extension? Try to see if your school will extend your enrolment to November. That way, you can get AD for September coz August is fully booked out. If you can't get extension then defer. But weigh all available options

Omoawoke:
No AD yet, I guess it's safe to just start planning for summer..

Finitiba is already effecting the new BA increment o. Those yet to fund should take note

Travel / Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by sassy92(f): 9:00am On Jul 19, 2019
The BA increment is officially from January 2020,however visa applications from September 1 2019 will be affected by the increment. Your visa application begins on your AD because that's the day you are interviewed and your visa fee collected. Therefore if your AD is September and beyond you will have to top up your BA.

Edwinmuyi:
Good morning everyone, please what's the deal with this block account amount being increased? I got a mail from Finitaba to say from 1st of September the amount is now 853 per month ....10,236 in total and also saw another news that says the increase is from January 2020. Here is the link https://www.study-in-germany.de/en/plan-your-studies/requirements/proof-of-financial-resources_27533.php
Although Finitaba said it in the email to contact local embassy to see if the change is in effect in such country and i have checking the website and student check but it still 8,640. My interview is in September and now I am confused, i don't know what to do, please the guru's in the house, what is the way forward? Suggestions?

Yes, National Open University of Nigeria is recognised in Germany.

Okay sassy92, thank you. I’m wondering if open university is a good choice for this option? What do you think please?

Since no university in Benin is recognised in Germany your 100 lvl transcript may not suffice. So please register in a university here in Nigeria, complete 100 lvl and use the transcript to apply for another BSc. This means that you may not make summer 2020 but possibly winter 2020.
Use the opportunity to learn German and maybe write English test to increase your number of applications.
Lightofzoe:
Hello everyone. I have been a silent follower of this platform and it’s been impactful. Thanks to everyone for sharing their knowledge with the rest of us.

I intend applying for summer session and I’m getting everything ready to apply ahead of time and I thought everything was looking good already until I got two shockers today, oboi I weak , first it’s no longer 8kplus but 10kplus for blocked account. Secondly, universities in rep of Benin is not recognized where I wan start from like this? I have a degree from rep of Benin. I was going for a second degree in summer in DE. What do I do guys? Since I need at least 100level transcript, can I still use it like that. I even registered for gce that starts next month since I don’t have English in my waec( I combined waec and neco for bsc) devil cannot spoil my shine. Please help your girl biko

Ok o, I accept this offer coz my big bros @Chriswazo said so. Please for those with AMs, help us by stating your
- course
- school
- Degree type (Bsc, Msc, studenkolleg etc)
Thanks everyone.

Chriswazo:

Brother, continuity will be a challenge. You know we are in a transition phase and can't guarantee availability to the update.
I think someone among us going for summer can help us do that and for that reason, i hereby nominate @Sassy92 to continue the good work of "AM testifiers List" for posterity sake.

Dear don't say no, pls
