The highest disappointment in what you see is still a way better feeling than the hopelessness that resides 24/7 in Nigeria. some of you perhaps had high expectations when you first arrived and are now talking from 'experience' and you still remain in the system. If its that bad then perhaps you should find your way back. If you can make it happen for yourself even when you did not fully plan like you are advising, then another person can truly make it to a better life and system.

You even forget those who made the journey back home to build Nigeria and though they could make something for themselves with uk knowledge that they acquired. Those same people are finding their way out of Nigeria, these are people who have tasted 2 sides of the pot and can tell exactly which is better for them and their loved ones.

Nobody exactly knows what's on the other side and there is no harm in trying, you only find out when you take that step, whether good or bad, sheet happens for a reason.

International driver's licence is not necessarily required. The 'valid local licence' is enough to drive in the UK for 12 months.

it is called paying attention to detail! Moreover, tadaax you can try to contact the current students who probably resumed in January 2022 or September 2021 for clarifications you might require.

Normal normal these informations are suppose to be in your offer letter (even if it's conditional). Well, except it's not in theirs.
But please make sure you read your offer letter completely and other attachments sent to you before go ahead to make this type of enquiry. It says a lot.

Paying extra through form A is not a bad idea however it largely depends on ones total budget for the japa movement.

1. for an international driver's licence you need to have a valid local licence then visit the same centre where you renew (FRSC or VIO office) and tell them you want an international driver's licence. Please ensure to go with two passport photographs. The cost is around N10,000..do not be exploited!!!

2. for a Police Character Certificate please visit the criminal registry office, Alagbon, Lagos, or other state command headquarters. Also, you can sort for people who act as an agent to help get it sorted on this platform..some of them are trustworthy! it is your choice on that!

Hello guys...Congratulations to those that just got their visas! I missed coming here

1. If you can make over 50% tuition fee payment please do (using form A)..in fact, I would advise 70%
2. Make necessary arrangements for accommodation. The UK can be annoying even with your money at hand Oooo.
3. When you land, please don't rush to buy stuffs..ask and ask and ask questions. I can't go wrong! (you might get better deals)
4. People coming with family should take critical note of (2) ACCOMMODATION!!!
5. International driving licence might come in handy ( I started driving 1 month after I landed though, I got a Nissan £1,000)
6. Apply for a provisional driver's licence; it is a good photo ID in the UK.
7. If you are good at cycling, good!..cheap bikes are available and that will save you a lot...I did that before getting a car and still use it for short journeys to conserve fuel and burn excess McDonalds in the system!!!
8. Remember no padi for UK be ready to pay your own bills...be prudent and smart! I have heard stories of close family members throwing people out...that happened to some I met on this platform. When he told me his ordeal..walahi I almost did not believe it!! I don't mean to scare anyone just that I want you guys to come prepared and self-reliant so that some people don't mess you up.
9. you might need a Police Character Certificate...not mandatory but I heard some people requiring it for jobs. Better than begging people who will now exploit you because you are in the abroad
