As already advised by others. 5years gap isn't the issue so long as School didn't state in their requirements. All you need to look out for is if she merits the admission requirements.

Now since she is the primary applicant, you can be her sponsor. Now, many a times, due to the uncertainty in Canada study Visa pattern, applicants tends to let a spouse apply alone while they spouse apply later.

We have noticed a shift in trend of recent as IRCC now wants spouses of temporary residents to come with work permit to fill up the labour shortage.

That being said, you can choose to let her apply alone, once hers is approved, you apply to go with her based of support and family reunification.

This is just added advice outside of what you asked.

So in a nutshell, what you asked is very much obtainable. No problem whatsoever.

Here is my own little contribution.
She can still get an admission even with a 5yr study gap, as long as she meets other admission requirements. Yes you as the husband can be her sponsor, as far as you have enough money to cover her expenses while she is in Canada ( tuition and accommodation). She can use you as her home ties .
Visa approval depends on how she is able to convince the Visa officer that she really intends to study and not trying to migrate. From the way I see it she needs to find an expert writer to help her draft a convincing Statement of purpose (SOP).

The thing is you have been making payment for people in a shady way and u have been getting away with it but when u tried it with my account it was unsuccessful. It is funny how walspring went ahead to “pay” for my sister’s Toefl before she even sent him the money for it. But it is really unfair that @walspring did this to me and my sister. This guy has being lying to us since the 1st day we met him. He keeps making payment with a PayPal account and issuing chargebacks immediately after making payment. With every chargeback, there is and additional $30 to the $185. walspring kept lying and deceiving us until $185 toefl payment resulted to $285. Additional $100, just like that. Now we called TOEFL and they told us we have to make the payment before my sister’s result can be released.
