I'll tip Madrid for the trophy considering how far they have come. I have been observing for a while now that any defence that proved difficult for us have always somehow been easily penetrated by Madrid. I just hope I am wrong this time. 1 Like |

Welcome Valverde! You played under Johan Cruyff, we hope you'll help us regain our identity that has brought us so much joy and success. |

We actually didn't end the season trophyless. Goodbye Lucho, thank you for all the good, the bad and the ugly we got served under your watch. Good luck to you in your future endeavour. |

Chelseafan1: It doesn't always happen, but it happened already. My point? If what happened had actually happened in La liga, would you be singing the same song? Your guess is as good as mine I am sure you got the drift! |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by sebod(m): 10:35pm On May 23, 2017 |
Chelseafan1:How come Chelsea finished the league with 93 points and 7 points ahead of the second placed team while Madrid(who supposedly didn't break a sweat) won the league with same 93 points and just 3 points ahead of the second placed team? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by sebod(m): 10:01pm On May 23, 2017 |
Chelseafan1: That's the point here sir. The emboldened would have been the words used on Conte as nobody would have praised him for the good job done. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by sebod(m): 9:03pm On May 23, 2017 |
Chelseafan1:The emboldened says it all. But often times, rather than giving credit, you guys tend to tow the other lane. Need I remind you that a certain Tata never won anything in Barca albeit having same Messi and co at his disposal? That's to tell you that it's not always as easy as you guys always want us to believe. As per the sextuple winning coach, I don't need to tell you that he still remains the only coach to have done it in the history of football. If it's that easy as you guys always claim, every coach that coaches Barca should be boasting of such a feat every season. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by sebod(m): 8:01am On May 23, 2017 |
Chelseafan1:I have never discredited him for the good job done. My point is this: if he had done all the tweaking of formation, and won the league for Barca, you guys would have made us believe he had it easy because of Messi and co, no competition in La Liga bla bla bla and not because he's good at tweaking formation. I could as well quote your post on Bayern thread claiming anybody would win with Messi 1 Like |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by sebod(m): 10:50pm On May 22, 2017 |
Chelseafan1:The emboldened means he's a great coach. Wouldn't you have termed him fraud had he done that in Barca? Wouldn't you have also believed he's able to win it in Spain because anybody can win it in Barca and not because he's good? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by sebod(m): 10:23pm On May 22, 2017 |
Chelseafan1 You should know bro. Conte came to Chelsea and won the league in his first attempt in a supposedly tough league which makes him at least a very good coach. The question is, if he had won the league for Barca in his first attempt, wouldn't you guys have termed him a fraud as anybody could coach Barca and still win? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by sebod(m): 9:43pm On May 22, 2017 |
Chelseafan1: Congrats on your league victory bro. However, I have a simple question for you. If Conte had come to Barca instead of Chelsea and wins the league in his first season as he did with Chelsea, would you have termed him a great/good coach? 1 Like |

agrovick: sebod: Is it that you didn't read the post well before jumping at your keypad to type or you don't understand the word 'surplus to requirement'? Kindly read the post again carefully if you can see...Alexis moving to Bayern does not make him an Arsenal reject as long as the club wishes he extends his contract as a sure starter. But a Barca reject as he was surplus to requirement at Barca not be cause he was not good but because he could not break into the starting line up. And then tell me if Pedro was a sure starter and the reason he chose to leave. |

It's so funny how many Shekpites still don't know the meaning of the word 'reject'. They tend to take it personal whenever any of their players doing fine is called one. The moment a player is deemed surplus to requirement by his club, and leaves to another club to ply his trade in search of a 1st team shirt he could not lay claim at the former club, he becomes a reject of the club. This does not necessary mean the players is not good Alexis moving to Bayern does not make him an Arsenal reject as long as the club wishes he extends his contract as a sure starter. But a Barca reject as he was surplus to requirement at Barca not be cause he was not good but because he could not break into the starting line up. Costa, Aguero, Falcao et all were never La Liga rejects unlike Pedro, Alexis, Di Maria and co who had to leave to avoid sitting on the bench. Trust some Shekpites to still bite 1 Like |

eyoniggar: Eyoniggar baba! I don't see Juve stopping Madrid honestly. As compact as Juve were against us, we still got some very decent scoring chances only to be blown away by our players who chose to be profligate in front of goal in both legs. Madrid in the other hand have a way of utilising their slim chances coupled with the fact that they are often backed up with luck and poor ref decisions. Madrid also have a very strong bench who can win them matches on a good day, another reason I feel they might also win the league. I am still hunted by the fact that we messed up our chances of at least winning the league. All in all, I hope I laugh till me teeth almost drop off come the season end as you have opined. As per CR7, I think he should be rather applauded for always positioning himself strategically and his ability to convert the chances when presented at him. ATM/Simeone should be blamed for their shambolic display last night rather than the ref. |

Forget about Juve, just hand the UCL trophy to Madrid now. I don't ever want to hear about Simeone being a top coach anymore. He's just a normal average coach. |

hamzeiy: One of the responsibilities of a man is to defend his home against external aggression. He should fight for the survival of his marriage. And if after he's done all he could to make the woman see why the children don't deserve a broken home by changing her ways and insists on walking away, he then can be absolved of any guilt whatsoever. Never forget he made the first mistake of marrying her! 1 Like |

adam500hr:What happened to you can happen to anybody, agreed. It's obvious you married her out of pity in order to avoid shame. That's the first mistake made. You can't afford to make another by allowing your family scatter, do all you can to salvage your home. Talk to her and pray to God. It's your responsibility as the head to raise a godly home. No child deserves a broken home. 3 Likes |

adam500hr:You actually slept with a stranger probably just to ease off, she in turn fell in love with your money and thought it would always be business as usual. And when what got her attracted to you seems no longer forthcoming, she's got to sort herself out. You are already married, try and do whatever you could to save your marriage, bearing in mind you are the architect of whatever happens. You can't afford to make another mistake of having a broken home unless she decides to walk away. 14 Likes 1 Share |
