I did a little bit of IT sometime ago in the university but currently I work as an electrical engineer. I still want to switch back fully into IT. This cloud company as a career, do you think it would worth all the effort? And how does one get the knowledge/certifications, especially for someone in Nigeria like me.

I know my blogs are very poor cos I even said so myself, besides those are the trial ones. It appears you didn’t read my reply properly.

Now I’ve got great content but I cant seem to post them online cos of the verification thing. I even created another ID but I still couldn’t get past the verification stage, how do I solve that.

The first blog (http://totaldigitalphotography..com/) was really a sketch or trial and it didn’t have much content. Other ones like it were of the same similar content.

The mistake I made was that I tried to monetize the blog and applied for google adsense but was declined.

The problem now is that anytime I try to create or add content to the blogs, I’m asked to verify and in the process I come across a list of countries, but when I select Nigeria I get a message that says sorry, the selected country is not supported for verification. Then I would not be able to go further. If you also look at the bottom right side of the image I uploaded, you’ll see the symbol of a closed padlock

I currently have some content that should be great to blog about but the verification is making it impossible for me to go on.

How do I solve this problem please.

I totally agree with you. Most Nigerians bloggers don’t make any real money online and it’s a shame cos the online market is quite large and I don’t see why we Nigerians shouldn’t get our own piece of the pie.
Though you have to understand also that there are lots of huddles you’ll have to cross as a Nigerian. Your IP address alone is enough to discourage other internet users from wanting to do business with you.
