Religion / Re: Godly Standards In Dating And Relationships by seluvsmayo(f): 1:08pm On Feb 15, 2008
I absolutely agree with what Lafile wrote and am glad he used himself as an example so that people in this kind of situation will know that it is possible to stay pure while dating. Most Christians pretend to stay pure where as deep within they cannot fight the urge of sexual sin, I think it is about time we spoke out and get the required help that we need, we shouldn’t be suffering in silence, a lot of us want to please God in our relationship but most of the time we allow our emotions to take charge of us but I want us to know there is a way out, with the help of God we can stand pure.

Getting married on time is good and I would love to add there is no point in getting into any relationship that is not focused on marriage cos u will only increase the length of temptation. I have just read a book called “Boy meet girl” by Joshua Harris (same guy that wrote I kissed dating goodbye) and I will like to recommend it to anyone out there that is passionate about keeping his/her relationship pure, I was highly blessed by this book and it has given me more confident to stay pure
Family / Re: Ever Lost Someone As Dear As Family? Come Light A Candle For Them Here by seluvsmayo(f): 5:55pm On Feb 14, 2008
I want to first lit a candle for my elder brother even though I did not grow up to know you but it hurts me to my bone anytime I remember what life could have being like with you around. I have always dedicated a lot of my success in life to you. Miss you Remi.

I want to lit my next candle for my younger brother deji, just like Remi I did not get to know you but I still miss the opportunity to be a biological big sister to someone but I know God knows why you both lived a short life.

Am litting a candle for my aunty that died on the 31st of November  from cancer, the space you left is too hard to feel and no night pass by without remembering how wonderful you were even to strangers, you had a way of making everyone feel comfortable in your presence. I can still remember seeing you in that coffin and wishing you could just wake up but I know God knows best, you were a fighter to the last minute and I guess God knows why he took you on your husbands birthday. I had to a lot of things I wanted you to teach me but I guess your time was up and you had to go. Sleep at the right hand of God till we meet to part no more.
