Northocracy1:
Total Northernization is the way! Nigeria must have a similar ideology, Nigeria must speak with one voice, Nigeria must be homogenous, Nigeria must be Northernize! Northernization is not equal to Islamization, Northernization is not equal to Hausa- Fulani. Northernization is for anyone, Any tribes, Everyone who wants to cooperate with the strongest power in Africa, It is a balance between the West (Britain/America) and the Middle East powers(Saudi Arabia/Iran). You can't win against Northernization, Rather than fighting against it fight for your stake and benefit in it. Just like what the Western powers are doing in the Iranian deal, and what Black Americans did in America. There are tired of fighting against it, they rather seek to benefit from it.
What are we to do with this nonsense!
Politics / Isn't English Crazy? by senkyesq(m): 8:15pm On Aug 22, 2015
Let’s face it - English is a crazy language. There is no egg in eggplant nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple. English muffins weren’t invented in England or French fries in France. Sweetmeats are candies while sweetbreads, which aren’t sweet, are meat. We take English for granted. But if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are square and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.

And why is it that writers write but fingers don’t fing, grocers don’t groce and hammers don’t ham? If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn’t the plural of booth beeth? One goose, 2 geese. So one moose, 2 meese? One index, 2 indices? Doesn’t it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend? If you have a bunch of odds and ends and get rid of all but one of them, what do you call it?

If teachers taught, why didn’t preachers praught? If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat? In what language do people recite at a play and play at a recital? Ship by truck and send cargo by ship? Have noses that run and feet that smell? How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites?

You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language in which your house can burn up as it burns down, in which you fill in a form by filling it out and in which an alarm goes off by going on. English was invented by people, not computers, and it reflects the creativity of the human race (which, of course, isn’t a race at all). That is why, when the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible.

And finally, why doesn't "buick" rhyme with "quick"?
Politics / Support Aregbesola By Paying Taxes, PDP Tells Osun Residents by senkyesq(m): 7:56pm On Aug 22, 2015
The Peoples Democratic Party has urged residents of Osun State to cooperate with Governor Rauf Aregbesola by paying lawful taxes to the government to ensure development of the state.
The leadership of the PDP in Osun Central Senatorial District, said this in a communique made available to our correspondent in Osogbo after the senatorial meeting of the party.
The Chairman of PDP in Osun Central Senatorial District, Mr. Bunmi Jenyo, who read the communique to journalists, however, warned the state government against introducing what he called butchery taxes.
He stated that the state government had no justification to introduce new taxes because the governor had not taken care of the welfare of the people of the state and should not bother them with unjustifiable taxes.
The communique read, “People of this state should henceforth cooperate with Governor Aregbesola on payment of lawful taxes.
“The governor of Osun State should be more honest and dedicated to the service of Osun than his personal one.”
The opposition party said things were not going on well in the state and every stakeholder in the state must come together irrespective of party affiliations.
A leader of the party, Senator Olu Alabi, said the All Progressives Congress administration in the state ought not to have demolished houses when they did not intend to construct roads they promised.
He said, “Let us prioritise these things. Why demolishing houses when they did not have the intention of constructing any road.
“Anybody who moves round Osogbo will think the town just survived a civil war. The houses, especially those along the road, look like those in war ravaged towns.”
