Sports / Neymar Unfollows Cavani On Instagram Over Penalty Disagreement; Twitter Reacts by senninalu: 4:47pm On Sep 18, 2017
World most expensive footballer, Neymar, might have only been at Paris Saint-Germain for a month, but it seems his arrival is already causing a bit of friction with Edinson Cavani.

You should have seen the video of the pair bickering over who should take a couple of set pieces (one a free-kick, the other a penalty) in PSG's 2-0 win over Lyon on Sunday.

Watch video below;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8lWd86wc5Y
Something similar happened prior to a PSG free-kick, with Dani Alves holding Cavani off before passing Neymar the ball.
PSG coach, Unai Emery said after the game;

"I have told them to sort it out between themselves,"

"I think that they are capable of doing that and that they will both be our kickers. If they cannot reach an agreement, I will decide for them.

"I do not want this to become a problem for us."
But now, Get French Football reports that Cavani was so annoyed by what had happened that he'd packed his bags and left the Parc des Princes within 20 minutes of the full-time whistle.

And, as if things weren't already pretty enough, Neymar also unfollowed the Uruguayan on Instagram..

Politics / "I Will Not Go On Exile" – Nnamdi Kanu by senninalu: 4:30pm On Sep 18, 2017
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has declared that he will not embark on an exile following threats of his rearrest by the federal government.

Kanu also said that the IPOB is the most vibrant and intelligent mass movement in the world today.

He said the IPOB or himself cannot be intimidated into hiding by the federal government.

In a statement released by the media and publicity secretary Emma Powerful, the IPOB said: “Our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has made it abundantly clear to all and sundry that he is NOT going on exile as a result of these childish threats from Hausa Fulani dominated Nigeria Government.”

Powerful said the focus of the leadership of the group is to restore the freedom of Biafra and nothing short of that.

Powerful also said: “IPOB family members worldwide under the command and leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu remain nonviolent, irrespective of the well documented brutal killings of unarmed peaceful demonstrators, abductions, torture, illegal detentions and summary executions of detainees by the Hausa Fulani Islamic run Nigeria Police and Army.”

”IPOB remains impregnable and no man born of a woman can stop the agitation for Biafra restoration. Until the Hausa Fulani Islamic Nigeria Government fix a date for referendum to settle the issue of Biafra in a civilized and democratic manner, this raging agitation led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will continue.

”With the situation on ground today concerning Biafra freedom, we pity the APC Party and Nigerian Government led by Major General Muhammadu Buhari for choosing the uncivilized path of brute force and intimidation as opposed to referendum.

”We urge every Biafran, no matter where you are, to remain resolute and strong because Biafra is tantalizingly closer than we expect. It is crystal clear that IPOB led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is ordained by (Chukwu Okike Abiama) God Almighty which no man can stop. We are winning this battle,” Powerful added.

He further added that contrary to claims that Kanu has gone into hiding for fear of being rearrested, Kanu fears no human on earth and await the federal government to carry out its plan.

“Major General Muhammadu Buhari and his APC band of thugs should be the ones hiding from IPOB not us from them. It is unfortunate that some people in Arewa North do not know who Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is hence they keep coming up with laughable fabrications designed to demystify our leader, to no avail.

”Mazi Nnamdi Kanu they privately acknowledge, knows no fear and is undeterred by side rantings of the vocal parasitic few, who cannot imagine their existence without crude oil money coming from Biafraland.

”This wicked lie and malicious fabrication is the work of the enemies of Biafra, who enjoy their perfect slave status and will remain servants to Arewa North all their lives,” Powerful said.

Foreign Affairs / "South African Model Attacked Me With A Knife" - Zimbabwe's Grace Mugabe by senninalu: 4:58pm On Sep 11, 2017
Zimbabwe's First Lady, Grace Mugabe, has denied assaulting a South African model with an electric cable in hotel suite last month, claiming the "intoxicated and unhinged" model attacked her with a knife.
In a previously unreported Aug. 17 deposition seen exclusively by Reuters, Mugabe countered 20-year-old Engels’ version, portraying herself as the victim after intervening on behalf of her adult sons Chatunga and Robert Junior who were “in trouble with a drunken young woman”.

The statement said Grace Mugabe, 52 and a contender to replace her 93-year-old husband as Zimbabwe’s president, was thinking about filing attempted murder charges.
A group representing Engels dismissed the allegations as lies.

According to the model, an irate Mugabe burst into the room where she was waiting with two friends to meet Chatunga on Aug. 13 and started laying into her with an electric cable.

Now, in her deposition, Mugabe dismissed Engels’ version as “malicious allegations” and said she had been attacked after going to help her sons.

The statement said;

“She was worried about them and went to see them at their hotel suite,”

“Upon her arrival, Ms Engels, who was intoxicated and unhinged, attacked Dr. Grace Mugabe with a knife after she was asked to leave the hotel.”

“Security was left with no other option but to remove Ms Engels from the hotel suite,” it continued.

The statement also alleged that Engels had been in a fight with other women at Johannesburg’s Taboo nightclub the previous evening and suggested that may have been the cause of her injuries.

Afriforum, an Afrikaans civil society group acting on behalf of Engels, denied both accusations.

“Gabriella never attacked Grace Mugabe in any way and she did not participate in the fight at Taboo,” Afriforum said.

“It is clear that Grace Mugabe is desperately trying to escape responsibility for her own violent behavior by using lies to falsely portray the victim in this case as the perpetrator.”

South Africa granted Grace Mugabe diplomatic immunity, allowing her to evade immediate prosecution for assault, although Engels and Afriforum have challenged that decision, saying Mugabe was not in South Africa on official business.

Crime / Policeman Kills Uyo City Polytechnic Final Year Student For Refusing To Give 100 by senninalu: 4:44pm On Sep 11, 2017
PRO alleges victim tried to demobilise policeman
Etim Ekpimah, Uyo

A policeman has allegedly shot to death one Imo Ekanem, a final year student of the Department of Mass Communication, Uyo City Polytechnic, Nduetong Oku, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, over the victim’s refusal to give N100 bribe.

Our correspondent learnt that Ekanem was shot dead by the policeman at his hometown, Nkek, in Ukanafun Local Government Area of the state on Saturday, while he was on errand using his mother’s
motorcycle.

An eyewitness, Usung Simeon, told our correspondent on Monday that Ekanem was killed by one of the policemen attached to the special squad the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Zubairu Muazu, sent to the area
to confront recurrent cult activities.

Simeon said the policemen stopped and searched Ekanem but they did not find anything incriminating thing with him. He added that the policemen demanded N100 from him, but his refusal to part with the money led to a policeman killing him.

Simeon said, “He was shot dead after a heated argument with one of the policemen attached to the special squad sent by the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Zubairu Muazu, to fight recurrent cult activities in
our LGA.

“Because the activities of the cultists are always carried out with the use of motorbikes, the police have been conducting stop-and-search operations. So, they just stopped him and subjected him to a search, but nothing was found on him.

“We were surprised that the police demanded for N100 bribe.

“His refusal to part with the money infuriated one of the policemen, who cocked his gun and shot him at close range.”

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Chukwu Ikechukwu, who confirmed the incident to our correspondent, denied that Ekanem was killed by his refusal to give the police N100 bribe.

Ikechukwu said what he first heard was that the deceased was trying to collect the rifle from the policeman, who shot and killed him in self-defence.

“The matter was not about N100 issue, though the police is still investigating the case.

“After our meeting today (Monday), the CP has directed the Area Commander, Ikot Ekpene, to transfer the matter to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Ikot Akpanabia, for thorough investigation,”
he said.

He said everything necessary would be done to ensure that justice is served.

Romance / Why Runs Girls’ Get The Good Guys & The Decent Girls Don’t – Joro Olumofin Expla by senninalu: 11:09am On Sep 11, 2017
Popular Psychologist and Relationship expert, Joro Olumofin has taken to social media to reveal why he thinks most ‘run girls’ end up with good guys while the decent girls settle for the average ones.
He wrote:
Why is this so?
Based on Direct Observation and survey from thousands of emails sent to me daily by people mostly Nigerians of all works and ages. I’ve gathered that Most men fall for Runs girls and ladies who have a Runs girl mindset.
Who is a runs Girl? A Runs girl is any lady who uses her beauty and looks as a tool to get money from men. Mostly older men. It’s a more flamboyant way of Prostitution. Let’s just say Very classy educated prostitutes.

The question remains , why would a Successful Eligible bachelor go for a runs girl instead of a decent lady? .

The answer is in the approach to mans Cognitive Framework ; his mentality. A runs girl has a “Phd” in knowing how to please a man, what a man wants sexually, what a man likes, her body and mind is a moving encyclopedia filled with ways to please a man. A runs girl takes so much care of her body and private parts because these body parts pay the bills.

While a Decent girl is busy equipping herself mentally, occupationally paying little attention to Social media followers. A decent girl doesn’t see the need to please a man, a decent girl is looking for a man to please her emotionally & romantically , be a companion and meet her halfway. .

A decent girl seems very difficult for most men, she has so many rules, terms and conditions. She doesn’t have the time to feed a Mans Ego and make him feel like a king because she knows she’s a Queen. .

Runs girls have allowed men to run wild and free, without any rules. Men can do and undo as long as a Runs Girl is getting her money , birkin bags and Dubai tickets she’s happy. When a man has gotten so many ladies for cheap, he will never have the patience to go through the TERMS & CONDITIONS of a Decent Girl.

Celebrities / “I Didn't Attack Annie Idibia”– Sonia Ogbonna by senninalu: 2:41pm On Sep 10, 2017

Nollywood Actress Annie Idibia recently shared a video of a lady dancing in a club on social media and expressed her disgust at the skimpy outfit worn by the lady.

Shortly after, actor IK Ogbonna’s wife, Sonia, made a post about people intruding on the privacy of others by recording videos of them and putting it on social media.

This led many to conclude that Sonia’s post was targeted at Annie.

Now, in an interview with PUNCH's Sunday Scoop, she said;

“That is absolute nonsense. Some bloggers nowadays create issues so they can stay relevant. Annie is an amazing human being and she can never come to my mind in a negative context.

I wasn’t even aware that she posted any form of video. I follow only a couple of people on Snapchat and I normally use the platform to promote my personal businesses,”
Sharing her thoughts on whether permission should be sought before taking pictures and recording videos in public places, she said;

“Pictures and videos can make beautiful memories. However, we should always respect one another.

No one has the right to capture anyone without their freewill, awareness and agreement. No one likes to feel like they are being spied on.”
On whether her privacy has ever been violated in that manner, she said,

“Definitely, and that is why I decided to write about it on my page. Every human being goes through different things in life at different points in time and that is one of the main reasons privacy needs to be respected at all times.

But I cannot get embarrassed in cyber world.”

Celebrities / "Bishop Oyedepo Is My Role Model" – Timaya by senninalu: 8:45am On Sep 10, 2017

Nigerian dancehall singer Inetimi Alfred Odon, better known as Timaya, has revealed how he manages to stay relevant in the industry, noting God as the number 1 in his career so far..

See some excerpts from his interview with PUNCH

You’ve managed to stay relevant since you released your debut album; how have you been able to do that?

I am grateful to God for the grace to stay relevant. I am constantly looking for new sounds and ways to make my music better. I also work with amazing producers who help to keep me on track.

You featured Paul of P-Square in your latest song, what inspired that choice?

Paul and I are good friends. I actually recorded Dance, sometime last year, but I didn’t put it out because I felt the song needed something extra. When I played it for him one day, he made a great verse and that was it.

From your experience, what are the qualities an artiste must possess to be successful in the music industry?

Every artiste must always work hard to improve his or her craft; the work never stops. No matter how popular or successful you get, you must keep getting better to stay relevant.

When you started your career, you were singing socially-conscious songs. But people have started to say that because you’re now rich, you only sing about irrelevant things like bum bum and money; why is that so?

This is funny, but that’s not the case. As an artiste, I am inspired by life, not just by one thing. I make music about the society, partying, love, beautiful women and my life in general.

Why do your songs contain a lot of vulgar words?

I do those types of songs because that’s what people really want. Some people criticise those songs, but they have millions of views and downloads online within a short period. We really should stop deceiving ourselves. Like I said earlier, I sing about a variety of things. Music is a money-making business, so I always consider what people want to hear and give them priority. That’s what fetches me money.

If you could go back in time to change one thing about your career; what would you change?

I am not sure I would change anything. I love who I am.

As a Niger Delta person, what have you done to bring up other youths in that region?

I am not a Niger Delta activist; I am a Nigerian, who wishes nothing but the very best for the country and our people. There’s a lot that I do, but I like to keep that part of my life very private.

Who are your mentors, role models or people that you admire?

That would be Bishop David Oyedepo. I attend Living Faith Church, aka Winner’s Chapel, and I don’t joke with the activities of the church.

As much as I can, I make sure I attend as many of their services, crusades, and other programmes whenever I’m in the country.

What are the most important lessons you’ve learnt in the course of your career?

I have learnt that God is everything. He is the most important factor you need to succeed. If God is behind you and you work hard, you would be unstoppable.

Singer, Alfred Inetimi Odiom, aka Timaya, speaks with TOFARATI IGE about his career and misconceptions people have about him

I am not a Niger Delta activist; I am a Nigerian, who wishes nothing but the very best for the country and our people. There’s a lot that I do, but I like to keep that part of my life very private.

A lady in the United States of America, Shella B, once accused you of sexual assault but you maintained that it was consensual sex. How was the matter eventually resolved?

I would rather not talk about that.

What lessons did you learn while hawking on the streets?

I learnt that to succeed in life, I had to stay passionate about my dreams, never settle for less and keep working hard every day. Most importantly, I learnt to believe that God makes everything possible in good time. I have been through a lot of things in life, and if I begin to share my story, you will be shocked. I was born into a fairly comfortable family but I was a rebel and I often ran away from home. I once lived in Port Harcourt with a woman who was older than me and she used me like I was a intimacy gadget. I had to service her whenever she had the urge in exchange for food and a roof over my head. However, I have always dreamed big. Despite my travails, I never let go of my aspirations while believing that one day, I would make it big.

Would you be getting married to the mother of your children someday?

I don’t want to answer that question.

We haven’t heard anything about Dem Mama Soldiers in a long time; do you still have any other artiste signed to the label apart from you?

My record label is called DM Records. I currently don’t have any acts signed on and I am currently not looking to sign any new acts right now. I may change my mind later.

What has being a father changed about you?

I would say that being a father has made me to be more patient.

Do you get to spend quality time with your daughters?

Yes, I do. Despite my busy schedule, I ensure I make time for them. Spending time with them is something that I enjoy tremendously.

What are your long-term plans for your career?

I just want to keep getting better at what I do.

People see you as being temperamental and arrogant; don’t you think that image is hurting your brand?

That’s not who Timaya is really. I’m really a nice guy; you just need to get to know me and you would realise that the picture painted of me is not accurate at all.

What are the three most important things to you?

My daughters and God.

Can you tell us something Nigerians would be surprised to know about you?

I have been told that I am a very funny guy.

Apart from music, what other business are you involved in?

Music is all I do right now and it has been taking care of my needs, so I’m okay.

How do you spend your day when you’re not performing on stage?

You would usually find me in the studio, or spending time with my daughters.

Apart from Nigeria, in which other country would you say you have the most fans?

I have a lot of fans in East African countries, and the Caribbean as well.

Do you have plans to collaborate with any foreign artiste?

I have worked with Sean Paul and Machel Montano. I am still looking forward to working with more artistes from other parts of Africa.

Which do you consider your biggest song?

I would say Bum Bum and Sanko.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my style in two words: easy -going and classic.

What’s your favourite fashion accessory?

I love wristwatches and shoes, and I always go for the really quality ones. I have a lot of them in my wardrobe.

What do you like to splurge on?

My daughters. There is nothing that I cannot give them.

Do you have any regrets so far?

None. I am okay with where I am.

What are your likes and dislikes?

I like honest and hardworking people. I don’t like liars, lazy people or pretenders.

How do you unwind and relax?

Spending time with my daughters and family. Everything about me revolves around music and my daughters.

If you want to have a nice time, where do you go?

There a few spots I like, but I am not as particular about them as I am about my home. I really enjoy my own space.

Are you sure he gave that much judging by how much he earns?

He earns £10,000, and has been at Arsenal for 1 year plus, the minimum he should be worth is £500,000.. and you know that is almost $700,000
