Business / How to Receive Credit/debit Card Payments In Nigeria by seresearch: 5:26am On Nov 19, 2013
Whatever business you are doing, if you can make and receive credit/debit card payment, it helps you to make more money. This is because people can easily pay you on the spot without the barrier of going to banks or such which discourage many prospects along the line.

Nigeria is fast transiting from a fully cash based economy to a card based one. The current ATM cards issued by Nigerian banks, for example, also double as credit/debit cards with such brands as Visa, Mastercard, Interswitch and Verve dominating.

So, my advise to every Nigerian business is to start receiving card payments. Of course, apart from hastening the earning speed of such a business, it is equally going to be a way of helping the Federal Government do away with cash-based economy with its many attendant problems.

Career / Re: Arise O Sleeping Giants by seresearch: 11:11pm On Nov 18, 2013
I wish to applaud this effort. But, let me make it very clear that unemployment is a thing of the mind and never a reality. Wait! Read this through before you start crucifying me for my discordant tune. Unemployment is one of the dead carcasses of history. If you can come to grips with the realities of the moment, you will be ashamed to even mention unemployment. Why? If you understand the rationale, employment is all about being useful to someone and getting paid for it. For example, Seun Osewa (the founder of Nairaland) has created this service that is useful to you and me, and tell me why he could ever think of seeking job anywhere on earth. In the real sense, therefore, there will be real unemployment the moment people stop having needs and wants. But, since that is a total impossibility (that human needs and wants no longer exist), then the word 'unemployment' is clearly another way of saying 'a lack of idea', 'a lack of will' or plain laziness.

And, come to think of it! Instead of founding nairaland, Seun could have been there waiting for a government that doesn't exist to employ him. I can imagine the hassles he underwent in 2005 when Nairaland first came on board through 2006. But he stood his ground. Today (in 8 years, that is) he has one of the country's hugest foreign exchange earners and image makers (NL is 1,008 out of billions of websites globally!). A mentality where we wait to be employed (like a woman waiting to be married) should therefore be removed far from us. It is a mentality we inherited from an evil past that has been the undoing of Africa (from our colonial masters) where we were treated like dogs that must be fed before it eats. It has finally led to the 'squandermania' we are experiencing where someone wants to reap where he didn't sow. It is laughable that someone says he is seeking jobs, but when he is given the job, he/she begins to indulge in truancy. No, he wasn't a job seeker in the first place, only a pay seeker.

There is always a way where there is a will especially in the world of the internet. That saying of Napoleon Hill's that whatever you can conceive and believe, you can achieve, has become all the truer with the internet economy. You can safely say that with the internet, anything can happen. What makes this internet-based economy so awesome is that you don't need any special background (such as being a surgeon) or have any special wealth (such as oil wells or real estate) bequeathed to you to make it to the topmost echelon of the economy. In fact - one day you will say I said it - in the contemporary economy, people who have these conventional riches behind them are becoming the new world's poorest people. 'So the last will be first, and the first will be last' (Mathew 20:16). And before you begin to think 'you are right but it is not easy to come up with winning ideas' wait: You don't need grandiose ideas; all you need is the will, the never-yielding determination to succeed. If you do, you will see that 'there's many a burning bush where you thought was only a dry shrubbery' as Aelred Squire would say. For instance, look at this Nairaland post that clearly shows anyone how you can begin with absolute zero and start earning up to seven hundred thousand naira (N700,000) monthly with unbelievable ease:https://www.nairaland.com/1509794/500naira-networking-earners-club-scam.

Exactly how the money will come has been made clear with screenshot proofs. Tell me now, anything that can stand in anybody's way to success here if not a mind that dreams low. Even if you have more impactful idea, this could be an easy way to get it sponsored without going to the banks or the need to stoop to boot licking. Where then is unemployment? 'Oh unemployment, where is thy sting? Oh, joblessness, where is thy victory?' (cf. 1 Corinthians 15:55). A word is enough for a wise.
Nairaland / General / Re: Best Gsm Company In Nigeria by seresearch: 3:40pm On Nov 15, 2013
After four years, and with new developments - such as number porting - I want to resurrect this thread. With number porting, Nigerians should no longer keep complaining about poor GSM services. Instead, we have all the power to determine the quality of service we receive.

I call on everyone on NL to make a comment to this based on his personal experiences with the GSM services. Which network do you consider the overall best and why? This will help us all. If your service provider sulks, I hope you know you can now switch over to another network while retaining your number. Just go into an office of the service provider you like best and tell them you want to port your number.

In my opinion, Etisalat is the best GSM provider in Nigeria. In fact, I'm making this post because of my experience with Etisalat especially today. So here is my vote for Etisalat:

1. Customer Service: Etisalat Nigeria's customer service is one of the friendliest and most responsive I have experienced in Nigeria and beyond. They handle you as if you are the only person in their network. I'm one of those who believe that the best a company can offer is a wonderful customer care. If I can always be attended to as if I came personally to your office (and with Etisalat Nigeria, even better) then every other issue can always be taken care of much more easily. But, if I would call and call and get no response (which is what I had experienced with all other networks, name withheld), then all your offers mean nothing to me. I'm not afraid of giving Etisalat 101% in customer service.

2. Network coverage: I have never been any place where Etisalat's network bars weren't full even in remote villages. It surprises me that the last to come has been able to penetrate so far. It's only yesterday and part of today I've ever experienced network down time with Etisalat since almost a year I've been using the network. I just called the customer care and complained bitterly. The call center rep apologized so much and gave me 3 minutes on-net free as a compensation and promised that the matter would be handled and in less than 3 hours, I received an SMS telling me the problem id resolved and I checked, behold it was true!

Tariff: For comparing with other networks, Etisalat is not the best when it comes to tariff and yet, they are not the worst in both call rates and data. But, when I remember their perfect customer service, I seem to still give this to them, after all I can see and enjoy what they are spending the money on.

What's your take on this?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Desperately Looking For Around IKORODU/AGRIC Area Of Lagos State by seresearch: 10:05am On Nov 13, 2013
I advise you check this Nairaland post that shows you how you can be earning at least N3,000 daily directly into your Nigerian bank account and up to N700,000 monthly (no your monthly prospect is different from your daily pay). With this, you are not limited to any location. Even when the ASUU strike is over and you are going back to school, you can continue at Ibadan. Just take time to go through this thread and access all the references given:

https://www.nairaland.com/1511269/stop-seeking-job-start-making#19421827

I expect your testimonies here also as I'm doing. God bless you.
Nairaland / General / Re: 10 lessons you must Learn from Nairaland to be successful by seresearch: 9:56am On Nov 13, 2013
Is that why you answer Divepen? From the 'pen' side of your name, you must be a gr8 writer. And you are. Keep it up.

Then, in compliance to your request, I share my own lessons on NL. If I have not gained any other thing from NL, I have used this to connect to gr8 opportunities in this country. I've come to realize you have it all in Nigeria no matter how difficult things turn out to be. You don't have to travel away to hit it big. For instance, there is a very simple program I got to know about here which I have been sharing with NLers wherever I have the opportunity. It is one Nigerian money making opportunity I totally believe in for its thorough openness and huge prospect.

And, I happen not to be the only person who value the program. So, instead of talking on, let me cite another Nairalander to take you there. Check this thread:https://www.nairaland.com/1511269/stop-seeking-job-start-making#19421827

I really doff my hat for Seun, all the NL team members and indeed all the good NLers like Divepen and others.
Education / Re: God Please Frustrate ASUU by seresearch: 9:36am On Nov 13, 2013
The truth is that this guy here is not joking. So, we should not look down on this. What he has just expressed is the mind of most students, parents and most people in Nigeria. Note what he said 'If I had the power, I would have killed EVERYBODY...' Now, I'm not here to judge him, but I want us to note from this, how the strike adds to the insecurity levels in Nigeria. An idle mind is , indeed, the Devil's workshop especially when that idle mind is young.

So, anything you can do to see an end, not only to this present ASUU strike, but to also forestall future ones is highly welcome, no matter how little it may seem. Don't ever think it doesn't concern you. In this spirit therefore, I advise all students to find a means of keeping themselves meaningfully and gainfully busy even if there should be a strike any day. Particularly, I refer you to this Nairaland post by SimSoft. I totally endorse it as an easy honest means of earning good money in Nigeria whether as a student or anybody. You should be earning at least N3,000 with it daily without strenuous effort:

https://www.nairaland.com/1511269/stop-seeking-job-start-making#19421827

Just click on the URL above. You needed to take time to go through the post once it opens and access all the references cited. Then, come back here and give your response.

Please, let's not be thinking of killing people. After all, those you might kill are also suffering the same fate with you. Thank you.
Politics / Re: Nigerians To Experience A Week Of Blackout by seresearch: 9:10am On Nov 04, 2013
Thanks for this info. Please, Nigerians should see this as a blessing. If power would be down for a week as a result of maintenance work alone, then that is a sign of good things to come.

Honestly, I believe in Nigeria. It must be well with us. We have many points of light amidst the darkness. For example, here is a new Nigerian NGO using very simple but unconventional means to put an end to unemployment and poverty in the country: i-Gube (www.igube.org)

And please, pray that everything will continue to work out well because, believe me, there are thousands of people who must be working assiduously against the whole show for economic, political and other ends.

If you really want to work in Nigeria and make money online daily, I recommend that you visit www.igube.org. The page offers 100% free guide on online opportunities in which Nigerians can earn huge and fast without the need to create a foreign account or wait for payment. In other words, it focuses on opportunities in which you are paid either in cash directly or into your Nigerian bank account. I have been experiencing a great relieve since I discovered this page and i'm sure many of you, will. That's why I'm sharing it.

There is this referral program I discovered there recently that pays me N300 for each person I refer. With the help of a free guide they also sent me, I have been earning between N5000 and N6000 daily. Everything is free but you must be ready to read because they give you all the detail. Thank you.

Career / Can You Really Work At Home And Make Money Online In Nigeria? by seresearch: 10:41pm On Oct 04, 2013
The web is full of money making adverts of all shapes and colours: make money from home, make money fast, make money with Google, make money with Facebook, make money now. The list is endless. Each of those adverts tells us about one money making opportunity or another, always painting them in glamorous colors. Who would blame them? After all, isn’t all an advert cares to convince us to buy? In this circumstance, many of us have developed very thick skepticism about whatever may be said about making money online while others wonder if it also happens in Nigeria – After all, Nigeria has its peculiarities which we all know. The truth is that such attitude is preventing many Nigerians from joining the online community of earners and our local economy is the worse for it. In this article, I have sought to give it all out: the good, the bad and the ugly sides of making money from home or online in Nigeria. My aim is to help you make an informed choice should you consider building a career online.

THE PHILOSOPHY OF ENDURING ONLINE (OR OFFLINE) EARNING: THINK RESPONSIBLY
'The secret of wealth', they say, 'has remained the same since the first coin was minted in Asia Minor: Just find a need and fill it'. According to John Mason, 'money is the reward for solving problems for people'. To be sure, problems constitute one human constant you can find in all eras, all races, all countries, every street, every bed room. If problems are so ubiquitous, then it means that the sources of making money are ubiquitous also. And I remember those immortal words of Thomas Edison: 'don't call it a problem, call it an opportunity'. While failures tend to see problems everywhere, winners tend to see opportunities in each so called problem. So, whether online or offline, you earn money always by being useful to someone. From now think like this and you can't avoid huge wealth wherever you go.

Unless you think like this, you are mentally irresponsible. That is the secret source of every case of poverty: mentally irresponsible attitude. That's why a certain sage said that poverty is, first of all, of the mind before it is of the hand. Thinking responsibly will save you from falling a victim to every wind of money making doctrine offered around the web and offline. You get to know that money is a measure of value and not just a number or a piece of paper. To make money therefore, you must give out values in product or service so as to receive values in money and, even more, in satisfaction. Giving out value involves a kind of loss on your part which you may experience as exertion or risk or anything else your nature abhors. Henceforth, therefore, any money making doctrine that tends to promise an all out rosy path to wealth becomes suspect. Well, this is the bitter truth. But, whoever prefers the sweet lies should go ahead to seek them elsewhere.

HOW MONEY IS MADE ONLINE EVEN IN NIGERIA
In line with the ageless rule of making wealth, the only way to make money online is to give out real values accross the web. The better values would hold better promises of course. You will see this simple theory in very weighty practice as we discuss the particular ways you can earn. So, I'm giving you as much detail as is possible here on the topics below:
a. Mini importation
b. Blogging
c. Affiliate marketing
d. Forex
e. More

Travel / Hotel Lagos Discovery: Read This Before You Choose A Hotel In Lagos Nigeria by seresearch: 10:34am On Apr 12, 2013
Have you visited Lagos recently? We did, and we've come off with a discovery: The generally considered best hotel in Lagos (name withheld) is far from the best. Both the highest rated hotel in Lagos and the second second highest, as well as all the big names were discovered to be a disappointment relative to some of the less known names if you are looking for the best value for money.

For example, while looking for a hotel in Lagos, security should be among your highest considerations as a result of the high prevalence of crime in the city. Other considerations may include comfort, accessibility to the city centers, proximity to unique places like the airport or your definite destination, power supply, customer service, menu and more. It is ironical that even the most famous hotel in Lagos compares very poorly in these respects with some less known hotels/hospitality services.

Of course ironies like this, is not limited only to when you are looking for a hotel. Lagos too is not peculiar about it. The truth is that most well known brands relax in their effort to please customers/clients; instead, they rely too much on the fame they have achieved beforehand. But some of the less known brands go the extra mile to please customers/clients. This is because they are still looking to build a business image.

So, since choosing a hotel in Lagos is all about YOU - and not just about big names - we recommend that you go for what will give you the best value for your money. Below is how we made our best choice for a hotel in Lagos:

We used a hotel errand service (someone recommended this to us). A hotel errand service is a new business that is developing in the highly populated city of Lagos. You don't have to pay for the service. The errand runners are resident in the city and are connected to several hotel sources in Lagos. When you call them, they help you get the best according to your need at the moment. They do not charge you, but expect you to appreciate their effort according to your means and magnanimity when you arrive. This, in our view, is what makes their service all the more recommendable - Not just that you are free to give them what you like, but also because this makes them go the extra mile to please you and make your appreciation BIG.

You can get a hotel errand service prior to your trip to Lagos, by visiting such websites like or Google Trader Nigeria (Google it). Thank you
Webmasters / SEO360: The Best Search Engine Marketer In Nigeria - SEO/SEM Rating 2013 by seresearch: 5:57pm On Mar 19, 2013
Search Engine Research is rating Seo360 Webs as the best search engine marketer or search engine marketing company in Nigeria for the year 2013. The owner of the young company is really doing great things. We rate this search engine marketer as the best based on the following reasons:
1. He is not just a search engine optimizer (SEO). He is a search engine marketer. This is the difference: All a search engine optimizer cares about is to get your web pages higher ranking. If he is able to get your web pages on the first page of search results for a given keyword, his work is done. But, a search engine marketer (SEM) will continue until the business makes sales. So, SEM focuses on practical results. That is why a search engine marketer will continue to be concerned about clickthrough rate, conversion rate and such other post-ranking metrics.
2. His passion in the industry is great. If you visit his website sited here, you will see how he makes resources available absolutely free for business owners, and even offers to help those who may not have the time to practise what he provides.
3. Creativity. He comes up with great search engine marketing ideas in the areas of keyword research as well as keyword implementation, ideas that are totally practicable, simple and out-of-the-box.
4. He focuses on organic white hat SEO and SEM practices. People who use software or unethical practices are being booked by the day with the new algorithm changes especially by Google.
We challenge other search marketers to out-do this marketer, and we will rate them higher.
