Politics / Re: Atiku: My Restructuring Does Not Involve Change In Current Sharing Of Oil Money by seunowa(f): 2:41pm On Oct 15, 2017
cristianisraeli:

“So let me make it clear beyond any possible doubt: the Restructuring I am proposing will not reduce the share of our nation’s oil revenues that any state currently enjoys. However, if we are to grow our revenues we need to change the way we think of our resources and nurture them for the benefit of all.]

“Let us start by not thinking as if our resources consist only of oil. Oil is not infinite. In fact, within the industry, the oil majors and multinationals are looking for ways to further invest in alternative energy because, in the next 10-20 years, the proportion of the energy market share that fossil fuels hold will shrink and almost vanish even as that of alternative energy is set to rise dramatically.”

Meanwhile, Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, has risen in defence of President Buhari.

Shettima said 5 governorsn including 3 from the South, were present when Buhari in July 2015, asked Kim to support rebuilding of the Northeast which has suffered massive destruction as a result of Boko Haram insurgency,

Cherez:

In your support for PMB, try to be human enough and open-minded cos this way you behaved the generations before us trailed and we still have a Nigeria where am average citizen prefers to have a S/African passport.
I voted PMB to fight corruption but his nepotistic inclinations has gotten the best of him.
The WB deliberately asked him to focus on human capacity but he mentioned the NORTH to them.
In a bid to control image, the presidency claimed it is the NE matter and the WB released this news to prove it wasn't all about the NE.
Now go to the website (projects.worldbank.org) posted by Blu3k and get your facts right.
Please check each project recently according to Blu3k and see it was centred around the North, not just the NE.
Kano and KADUNA also received huge attention and I wonder how a lot of other states lower in class to these two states got almost no attention.
Not just this, also budgetary allocations has the North agreed that they need it due to their population too. But others need some respite too. The SE erosion, SS oil spillage, and SW flooding
I understand the North is less educated (with all due respect) and the NE issue so requires all the help they can get now but PMB's actions and words since the 97%/5% speech gives him away as a bigot and an amateur leader.
He had to drive it to the ears of WB and whoever cares openly
One stupid xteristic abt southern is dat come 2019...they will still vote 4 anoda northern

Why do I have the feeling that this poster is alcatraz005...

Anyway, your submission was spot on and straight to the point. You have made valid points that should set a reasonable Yoruba thinking. You are very right to advise the SE & SS not to back down on the call and demand for restructuring. But sorry to disappoint you - those two are nothing but noise makers and toothless bulldogs.

Since the demise of Ipob, everyone has gone mute. When last did you hear restructuring.

The gullible Yoruba Christians you referenced, don't bother yourself too much. They cannot be redeemed. They're very docile and gullible. They haven't woken up yet to smell the coffee. They're still deceived by the oneness and unity preached in church. I don't blame them. I now blame churches who have now made it look like secession of call for self determination is a sin. You'll hear prayer points like - every agent of the devil trying to separate us in one nigeria, God should send his fire to consume them. And I'll be like, "like seriously?"

For the umpteen time, to each man his own. I don't kill myself or bother myself over irredeemable set of gullible people who believe more in their pastors than their own independent thinking, who doesn't believe in using their common sense and fighting against in justice but relying excessively on God hoping that one day things go better. Such is the gullible Yoruba Christians. Let them continue to live in denial. Leave them alone. They love their chains.

please send me the link to the request made by the muric.
U are d one dat is unwise to realise dat in south-west there is no religion...The person said dat yoruba christians are gullible and docile is most irrational person on earth

The marriage thing is all a lie! Have you seen a yoruba muslim family giving their daughter to a Yoruba Christian? Yoruba Muslim men can only marry our Yoruba christian daughters. I am yoruba and i know this for sure. I dont even go near Muslim Girls because i cant do wahala.

On the restructuring issue, the Country must be restructured. We are waiting for the islamisation. The little progress being witnessed in Yorubaland is about to be lost. You think i and my family would continue staying in an islamic society{ditto for millions of yoruba christians}?

You cannot scare anybody with islamisation! We have always known that is the plan! How many times have muslims in yorubaland cautioned ishaq akintola?

U are claiming dat u haven't seen a yoruba Muslims family giving their daughter to a Yoruba christian.....it is very obvious dat ur sentiment has demented ur rationality

So we should sit by and allow a secular and peaceful yorubaland to be turned into a hotbed of sharia? I dont know about you but millions of Christians wont be comfortable living in a sharia zone. I dont want my children growing in such environment. It is scary as it is already talkless of adding sharia into the mix. The igbos/SS should however maintain their christian/Secular outlook. They are about to witness the influx of skilled Christian manpower from Yoruba land. This restructuring is about to really favour them. Ishaq Akintila and his cohorts can continue planning their islamisation since christians in yorubaland are so docile to see the end game.
Why don't u face d problem in ur region? .....yoruba know dat it is not possible 4 one religion to force his doctrines on d others.whateva problems dat arise within d yoruba will be resolved amicably....i know d happiness of certain ethnic group is crisis among yoruba Muslims and Christians who av been co-existing 4 years...This was d same group bashing Baba E.A Adeboye and other yoruba pastors...so they are confusionists
