Really sounds weird!!!! Normal US refusal that says ‘you are not qualified for this period, pls try next time’.
This is insane and sick, the most discriminating print I've seen in recent times to deny anyone of studying. They should then put it up in their requirements that anyone who has previously been refused visa should not apply and see how good that places them.
How recent was your US visa refusal.

Are you sure about this information? Do you have any reference to back it up?

It's clearly stated on their site.
I couldn't have pull out a specific date from my head.
The data used in expressing the doubt here could as well fetch you the information on the school website.
Selah!

If you have history of visa refusal from any country, don’t near this school. They refuse to further my application because I had US visa refusal in the past.
Did they specifically said your previous US visa refusal is the reason you can't study in their school?
It kinda sound weird and unbelievable.

How did you mention it in your application for admission please? This is the email I got from Sunderland uni when I made enquiry about it.

Since you already hold a postgraduate degree and you would like to apply for a course at the same level, you would need to submit a personal statement to justify why you think this course will benefit you in the future in relation to your career goals and aspirations as the Home Office do not like this at all. They ideally want to see students progressing from undergrad, to postgrad, to doctorate level.

Which uni did you apply to please?

I got admitted to this same university of Sunderland, and I hold a prior MSc here in Nigeria. I submitted a personal statement alongside my application on why I'm opting for a new MSc degree. In my case, I'm switching from pure science(biology and Environmental sciences) to IT (Data Science).
Just draft out something and be creative in telling why you want to study the course you're applying to.

Hello House!

Please i got a conditional offer from Sunderland today.

Their conditions of offer below is what I don't understand.....

'The conditions of your offer are:
Subject to receipt of payment to the University of Sunderland for a minimum of £3,500 with the balance to be paid before or at registration.'
Does it mean that one will pay the balance at once before enrolment or what......

i don't understand oo..

No, you pay 50% on enrolment, and the 3500 initial deposit is inclusive of the 50%.
I got admitted for MSc Data Science also, with a 1k off tuition. This brings the remaining tuition to 13,500.
50% of 13,500 is 6,750
You have to pay initial deposit of 3500
Which means you have to pay 3250 on enrolment to meet up with 50% tuition on enrolment.
And the other 50% balance to be paid by May 27th.

I hope you understand my point small.

I paid for tuition deposit (University of Sunderland) yesterday at UBA via form A but we forgot to include my wife's student number. We went back there today and they told us they have already processed it. They said they'll capture the details from her admission letter that we submitted

Question: Will this pose an issue to us and will the University be able to identify her if we submit the telex copy when it's ready? Advice please

I doubt it will pose any issue as they will have her records already and will be able to get all the information from her admission letter. I got admitted to university of Sunderland too, is it compulsory to have an account with UBA before using them to pay via form A

Hello everyone, I'm putting in application to Teeside University tomorrow for MSc Bioinformatics with a BSc degree in Biology, please I need information about other schools that offers courses that integrate biological sciences with IT like Teeside's bioinformatics program and whose tuition doesn't exceed £14k.
Thanks.
