2017/18 Admissions: THE STAGE IS NOW SET.......
MORE EXPLANATIONS ON JAMB 2017/18
ADMISSION POLICY MEETING HELD FEW HOURS
AGO...
Did You Know That POST-UTME Is Back For Real
(Please dear, read carefully and kindly help
TOJESUS share this info with anyone or to
anywhere to reduce some people's HIGH B.P)
Good morning my sweet ladies and my ever
handsome gentlemen.
I hope we all had a fabulous night?.......Please,
kindly read this post/article very well, because, it
will help you fight off confusion.
I started typing this post 3:36 AM (Wednesday,
August 23rd, 2017).
LET US GO THERE.......
1. JAMB held a meeting between Monday and
Yesterday, August 22nd, 2017. The meeting was to
discuss on the method and cut off mark for this
year's admissions.
2. At the end of this meeting yesterday, JAMB, FG,
all VCs of Universities, provosts of colleges of
education & Rectors of polytechnics/
monotechnics,......decided that, admission
processes have to kick off any moment from now,
despite the ongoing strike in some institutions.
3. JAMB national cut off marks for different levels
of institutions have been officially released too.
4. JAMB national cut off mark for all Universities in
Nigeria for 2017/18 session is now 120. I repeat,
120.
100 for all polytechnics & colleges of education
and finally, 110 for innovative institutions.
TOJESUS, WHAT DO YOU MEAN?
Okay! Calm down dear.... Let me explain what I
just said above.
The above 120 cut off mark is STRICTLY the cut off
mark JAMB have given all universities. ......BUT, any
university is FREE to increase it to the one they
like.
For instance, If you applied for a school like UNN
or UNILAG or OAU and your JAMB score is 179.
Now, let us assume that UNN released their
admission form now and cut 180 (general), and
you had 179 in JAMB. This will simply mean that,
you are not qualified to buy UNN admission form
(because your JAMB score is not up to 180),..... But
on the other hand, you qualified for JAMB
university cut off mark (because, your JAMB score
is above 120).......... Did you understand this dear?
Read it again dear!
#GENERAL_ADVICE
please dear, forget about the 120 or 110 or 100
cut off marks JAMB have released, focus and wait
for the one the school you applied for will release
or bring out any moment from now........Some
schools might increase theirs to 180 or put it at
200. If your school release their admission form
and cut off mark and you know you reached it, go
ahead and buy form.
Whichever one your school will cut, TOJESUS looks
forward to your matriculation at the end of all
these admission drama. ....don't ever give up
dear! Your admission must be a SURPRISE!
Hey dear! Remember we stopped at No. 4 above
before I started explaining on the cut off mark,
oyaaa let's go to No. 5...
5. In the just concluded JAMB meeting, JAMB has
directed that all admission into all PUBLIC
institutions should end before JANUARY 15TH,
2018..........while all PRIVATE institutions are
expected to finish all their admission processes
before JANUARY 31, 2018.
6. In the meeting, FG through the minister for
education, has told all Institutions to go ahead
and conduct POST-UTME (For Any school that likes
that method). ......He also said that, any school
that wish to conduct POST-UTME this year should
not collect more than N2,000 from aspirants who
will register.
7. Also, JAMB said that, any school that doesn't
want to make use of POST-UTME method this
year, should use ANY OTHER "Credible" admission
method to admit her candidates, BUT.....JAMB
must cross check the names of those they
admitted before approving the admission list.
I HOPE, EVERYONE IS FOLLOWING?.......WHO IS
STILL CONFUSED SO FAR?
Nobody! Let's go forward!
8. JAMB said that, all institution should finish the
admission process of those that CHOSE them as
1ST choice, and forward their name to JAMB,
before OCTOBER 15, 2017.
9. Also, all institutions should finish the admission
of those that CHOSE then as 2ND choice, and
forward their names to JAMB, before DECEMBER
15, 2017.
OKAY DEAR!!! READ THIS NO. (10) VERY WELL
OH...... OH!
10. JAMB said that, If after December 15th, 2017,
your chosen institution (s) didn't admit you at all,
then,......you will be carried on a tray pan or
shopping basket and will be brought and kept in
the "MARKET PLACE" for other schools you DID
NOT chose In JAMB, to come and price you and
buy you, if possible....
Hahahahahahah!
This one weak me oh!
JAMB won't kill us oh!
Market ni! Place Ko!
#Issorait
I wonder when admission seekers became
"goods" or "commodities" that are sold and
bought in the market...... I tire for Nigeria!
Well dear, ON A SERIOUS NOTE, those who are
not admitted before December 15th will wait for
any OTHER school to chose you..... This means, if
no school chooses you by the end of JANUARY
2017, you will sit for 2018 JAMB..... (God forbid
though).
But dear, Just be very prayerful.....its better you
gain admission as soon as possib 2 Likes |
