I fell victim nd am trying to retrieve my money back frm d lady .. i gave her 40k when my visiting visa refused.. i complained in the house nd i was advised not to do such but i 'd already given her. Bolded part messed up your application do not allow deposits you can not correctly account for via your pay slip or employment contract, be made into your salary account. Forget all the crap that inflows and outflows boost your chances for a visa... It doesn't.

All ECOs want to see is that you are getting a steady salary or income stream that can pay for your trip and still have enough to fall back on when you leave the country you visited.

You have a variable income stream which doesn't seem like a steady income stream and except you explain to the ECO via a cover letter your situation or any deposit other than your salary, s/he may believe you're not entitled to get the visa.

Oga please go back to that stupid immigration lawyer,,ask her for refunds and definetely she would disagree,threaten her u would involve d police or go with d police seeking her arrest,she wont want to go to the station..she wud pay u ur money..telling u dis from experience..this people dont send any rubbish mail,they send mails to email addresses with automated response and sometimes draft mails and respond theirselves...get ur money back!of recent,I stumbled on a complaint proceedure while doing research abt Uk visit visa refusal and how best to tackle wrong refusal reasons,especially for those who have no right to appeal or administrative review....i found out in cases where an applicant does not have right to appeal or administrative review,asides letter before claim and judicial review(which is a long process and involves going to court and all..lol),u can write a letter of reconsideration ;its like a complaint letter,pointing out that the ECO made a mistake in judging ur application,e.g the eco failed to put into consideration document A,B,C or the eco relied on incorrect assumptions which led to your refusal e.g the conversion rate of ur salary,or if the ECO says ur salary does not reflect in ur bank statement and you have submitted a payslip that shows ur salary payment is being made to ur acct..just giving few examples here...I dont advise u reapply as to me this is just dashing dem money again,if the eco made a mistake ,a letter of reconsideration should be written,send a mail and u wud get an automated response stating u cannot send mail outside d uk to that box,then respond stating u re not making enquiries but rather complaints and would like the ECM to review ur application...if it is true that there was a mistake truly by them,the mail would be forwarded to the appropriate quarters and u would get a response that ur mail is under review ...if what u stated is right,u would get a reconsideration mail,askn u to submit ur passport at d embassy and would be called upon to pick up when it has been stamped...and sometimes they wud still refuse if the ecos rejection reasons re correct..wud share a template on how the process is done..a friend of mine got reconsidered and he didnt spend a dime on reapplication fees..the while process took about 14days and he got his passport stamped...please note that the ONUS is on u to be able to pinpoint the ECOs errors and be sure to have carefully studied the guidance brochure before writing a reconsideration mail...

I don't own a company, am employed as stated in my application, my gross earning 260k but after deductions.. i get 220k , if i collect i o u it will be deducted as well.. if i win contract for my company 5% of the d profit would also be addede to my salary. So i don't have fixed amount for salary inflow. For instance, july, i got 182k which i used to filled my application as my salary, Aug 262, Sept 220k, oct 270, nov. 300k all this raising ws based on contract won. Nd immediately i get my salary, i transfer 150 or 120k to my brother for monthly contributions we do, pay for some local bills.. i drained my acct in oct due to my wife business (not registered biz tho) nd she was d one who deposited 500k to my acct for boosting to print statement.. i want to reapply Jan or feb. Please what's your advice.. ? I also fell victim to those lawyer at collection center who i paid 40k to write against my refusal.. i called her to stop while u guys advised me not to.. but she said, she has sent letter already. 3hours after giving her money . I don't know what she sent tho. I pray she doesn't wrt ribbish. My hope please

i hope it is not vindan consults??one fair woman like that?pls reply..so i can tell u how to get ur money back?

See attached notice of refusal and my response to the reasons for denying the visa which was re submitted immediately and after 11 working days the visa was issued and collected today.

I really don't understand what your agent did to your application and you need to correct those inconsistencies and present your situation as its.

Present your salary account with payslips,explain any amount in that account that is not your salary or bonus.

Make fresh hotel booking and list places you want to visit in the UK, if you can pay for tour package fine but if you can't then add the cost to your budget.

In your budget avoid spending more than 2months of your salary and state clearly how you want to spend your budget in the UK.

Good morng evryone @justwise and every other person who made a contribution..God bless u all..however,i wud like to revisit my issue again and seek clarifications before reapplying this week,i wish had found this thread before making the silly mistake of involving an agent to assist with my Visa application,which at the long run,he ruined my chances becos he cud not ask basic questions and went ahead to do what he felt was right..
First and foremost,d issue the eco raised was for no travelling itinerary,like places I'd like to visit,and activities I'd like to do during my 7days trip..which i wud input while reapplying,my first question is this do i have pay for a tour package or just state the places I'd like to visit daily?
Also,there was a question asked for salary after tax,however the agent divided my annual gross pay which is #3,710,040.00 by 12 and came up with #309,170.00.However,that was a wrong input because my bank pays monthly salary every 12th #79,769.30 and 24th #47,968.45, which makes it a total of #127,738.05 monthly which is paid into my staff current a/c,however we get paid quarterly allowance at the end of every quarter(paid into staff savings account)and upfront(paid into staff current a/c),which is paid at the beginning of every quarter,which if added amounts to about 402k,asides leave allowance and 13th month salary...my question here is how do i explain that i made a mistake in my salary inputas my salary is about #262k after summing up my monthly salary+upfront+quarterly(after tax)
I am planning to attach my payslip(for six months) for my net pay and gross pay..which was not included previously
Also,as regards the inconsistent funds issue raised by the eco which seems like a money packing technique,most of the funds transferred to my staff current a/c where from my staff savings a/c....which where the two statement of a/c i presented,and my quarterly and upfront payment from the bank as well,however there was a transfer of 800k to my a/c from a junior colleagues frnd,who sold his car,as such amount wud be questioned if it enters his(my junior colleagues) a/c,so he asked his frnd to transfer to me,since d buyer wanted an a/c from my bank(since d buyer uses d same bank) and i transferred d money to the acct they wanted to send it too immediately,infact it was d same day..,since i am permitted to transfer high amounts outside my a/c to another banks a/c and d money left my acct sameday and this was in may..asides funds paid in by my some of my colleagues who patronise me for business,i sell hair and perfumes,as side hustle,but the payments where less than 50k and not up to 3 or 4times,other few transfers i did were low amounts from my diamond acct(from me to me) but the agent stated in my application that i had no other savings(does this mean i have no other a/c elsewhere) and i depend strictly on my salary because he wanted me to keep my application straight,my question here is do i go against what was inputted in my application?or explain that i do side business,although not registered,but d funds transferred to my a/c where more of cash deposit lodgement and few transfers which d highest amount was about 45k or even less.I had a closing balance of #1million100k plus in my current ac and about 200k plus in my staff savings a/c as at when i printed my statement,Do i use the same statement of a/c or print a fresh one?
Do i also need to do a fresh hotel reservation and ticket booking,as my date of visit was lastweek,or i just use the same details to reapply,since it is not up to 28days that i got refused?
Also,i feel the eco didnt judge me fairlly to have said he doesnt think i have enuf ties,as i have been working with the bank since since 2015
Documents i presented:introduction letter from HR(which showed my date of employment 2015),tax clearance,staff ID card,offer letter(from the old bank,as the name as currently changed of recent),offer letter from the new bank(pls note that this is still d same employer,we just transitioned to the new bank of recent),letter of admission into d banks training sch,confirmation letter,statement of of both my staff savings and current a/c,travel history(dubai)
Also,he stated that i wud be spending 1650 pounds for my trip and i spend 200 pounds monthly,although no issue was raised as regards this by the eco,should i still cut down cost??or stick to this same amount??
Please revisit my issue and advise me accordingly..i wud be attaching d refusal note again..sorry for the long writeup..

I applied in ikeja tls centre,got a mail that a decision has been made after 10 working days..

@justwise and the other gurus in d haus..pls i just got refused a visiting visa and its my first application,attached is d refusal reason,i wanna reapply immediately and wud need assistance on what to do next..i just joined this platform..i work in a bank and submitted all documents,i didnt write a cover letter or any additional information because i felt it was unneccessary,since the funds i received in my accts where not far from normal*,as my upfront and quarterly payment are higher than d funds received,although i didnt break my salary down..pls assist on what next to do??.God bless u..
