Health / Re: Pregnant After Trying To Conceive (ttc)?pls Come In To Chat/share With Others!! by Shalex(f): 12:47pm On Mar 24, 2013
Hi mums, this is a wonderful thread. I have been stalking the thread for months now but I feel I should share my own testimony too. The Lord has been very good to me.
I have been waiting on God for over two years, done a series of test with DH, hsg and all still nothing. But the Lord suprised us in October and I'm 21weeks as I'm typing this.
I give God all the glory. I wish all of us a healthy pregnancy and a safe delivery in Jesus name.

Health / Re: Your Experience In The Hands Of Nigerian Nurses by Shalex(f): 2:08pm On Jan 19, 2013
Lagusta: Sad to say, a lot of nigerian nurses are bad, whether they are auxiliary nurses, Registered Nurses or have a bachelor's degree....

Its very sad, cos nurses supposed to be the closest to patients, we doctors prescribe drugs and gon but nurses are always in the ward....

But I don't blame them, its WE doctors that spark at them for any little mistake, so they transfer the anger to patients...

So please don't put the blame on them
. I don't comment on nairaland buh I must on this particular issue. Lagusta, why will you shout on them in the first place. This is what doctors have failed to realize that nurses don't play second fiddle to doctors. I bet the setting you are referring to is a private one. The care of a patient is centered. I mean everyone is there to assist the patient back to health(doctors, nurses, pharmacists, nutritionist and other professional health care providers). Based on the topic, your person reflects in your job which is not ascribed to the profession you belong. I stand to correct this statement that not all Nigerian nurses are bad. I am a proud nurse and I carry out my responsibilities diligently. In this write-up, I'm not referring to the quack and unprofessional ones. My take

Romance / Re: Can You Work In The Same Company With Your Spouse? by Shalex(f): 6:13pm On May 22, 2012
Why not, its d best. She should go for it since its not the same department but she has to look into the company's policy as regards to the issue.
Presently, I work in the same company with my hubby and its simply cool.
