Business / Re: 23 Super Tips To Get The Kind Of Results You Want In Freelancing by shcash: 1:16pm On Aug 04, 2017
Bigboyz32:
For many people, freelance is a difficult job. I admit it is true because I have seen people abandon their profiles on Fiverr when sales were not coming in. Others have bitter experiences because they didn’t know what to even though they had some sales coming in.
In this post, you will discover 23 tips you can use on Fiverr to command the results you desire. Are you ready? Then, let’s begin.

How to Identify a Potential Bad Customer

1. The buyer tells you of a previous seller who did a bad job for them. This should tell you that such the buyer is hard to please.
2. He never answers your question about his requirements fully even though he may be friendly or write a lot. It is a clear sign that he does not know what he wants.
3. He asks you how many revisions you offer early in your discussion. He is trying to tell you that no matter how good you work, expect to revise it as many times as possible.
4. He asks if you do refunds should he find the work unsatisfactory.
5. He takes a long time to respond to messages before and during the order
6. He does not have real requirements. If he just says, “Improve this” or “Make this look nicer”, it means he does not have a clear idea what he wants you to work on because such statements are subjective.
7. If the person is being too friendly and nice. You may end up doing more work because they already made it difficult to have a professional relationship.

Here are some ways how you can get repeat buyers.

8. Treat each order like it is the one and only order that you have
9. Always deliver ahead of the deadline.
10. Other times, don’t make the delivery way too early. If you don’t, other buyers will see orders in queue. It will boost your image before buyers who will see your gig as a hot gig.
11. Always communicate with buyers and be professional. Sometimes, your packaging can make a world of difference in getting your buyers to come back.
12. You should appreciate the buyer for ordering your gig when you deliver the gig. It would not hurt to thank them.
13. Let them know when you start working on their gig if their order was on queue.
14. Always over deliver. Fiverr buyers love over delivery. Make sure to tell them that of an extra bonus you did for them when you are delivering the gig. It makes them happy and leaves a good taste in their mouth.

Other Random tips

15. Don’t forget to ask for a tip. Fiverr has added a cool option of adding tip into any order. So, don’t be afraid to ask your buyer to give you a tip if he/she liked your work. Say something like, “If you feel that I did a great job, feel free to give me a tip. I’d really appreciate it”. This will add extra income to your pocket.
16. Offer a discount: You can boost your sales by offering a discount to your delivery message. You can add something like,
Don’t forget to get a discount on your next orders. Use Coupon code2For1 and get 2 gigs for the price of 1! This is a limited offer, so take advantage of it as soon as possible.
17. Give a refund for a 3 star (or less) feedback: A 5 star positive feedback is very important. You should therefore not feel comfortable with any feedback rating that is less than 4 stars feedback. To avoid negative feedback, you can easily say,
I am sure you will like my delivery but in any case, if you aren’t happy with anything, please don’t complete the order. Hit me back and I will fix any problems or refund your order.
If a client leaves a negative feedback, you will need to offer a refund in exchange for removal of the negative comment.
18. Upload a video for your gig: It is said to double or triple your sales. It can be a presentation video or an animation video. You can also create videos from slides using PowerPoint. Adding a voice to your video can help create a personal connection. You can order a video gig for $5 or create your video at studio stupeflix
19. Upload a picture that looks professional. Buyers always look for faces. Make sure the picture captures your face clearly.
20. Always compare to other successful sellers profile. It will give you a very good idea on how to rewrite your profile and gig, and attract more buyers. Keep fine-tuning your profile.
21. Always make use of the buyers’ request. If the buyers won’t come to you, you need to go to them.
22. Never show that you are smarter than the client. Always do what the client wants even if you know it is wrong. This way, they won’t be able to blame you in future for anything because you followed their instructions.
23. Never agree for a payment outside of Fiverr. While some people dare to do so, it is a huge risk. You may lose the entire payment if the buyer has ulterior motives.

These are few of the tips that has fetched me plenty orders. You can implement them, boost your sales and smile at your bank account..

Crime / My Encounter With A Scammer Online by shcash: 9:17pm On Apr 08, 2016
His name is - Karim Zakari (probably a fake name)

I often see junk mails in my email and don’t usually attend to them even if I read the contents, but I treated this one differently.
I decided to play along with this fraud star who called himself with a fake name “Karim Zakari” and claimed to be the Bill and Exchange (assistant) Manager' Bank of Africa Ouagadougou Burkina Faso. Here is how it started….

The first email he sent with this email id: cgbensenor@infovia.com.ar

As he expected, I replied him pretending to partake in the criminal act of his.
Few days after my reply he sent a very lengthy email asking for some details from me.

Then I replied him with fake details.

His next contact email was to alert me that; he changed his previous contact to a new one. {At this point you don’t need to be told that he is a fake! But I kept playing along with him….}

The next email of his was to request for more details as seen below; asking me to fill an official letter of claim form to fill and submit to the bank.

How can a bank send an official letter of claim in this format? This scammer must be a learner.

Now the scammer asked me to send “scan copy of my international passport or my identification card” immediately. Ok oooh, let me prepare a photo-shop copy for him and wait for the next trick!

The scammer is so despirate that with 24hours of my reply, he forwarded 10 questions for me to answer while pretending as if it was from the bank

Is it that cheap to interact with a bank in Bokina-Faso even with fake ID and the rest?
Bokina-Faso governments most see this scam tactis!
I forwarded back the email to him as if “I no no wetin I dey do!”, then he replied as below

Am just watching the fool to see his final tactics! I kept wondering how this will benefit him at the long run…

His next move was to send lenghty useless mail for "CHANGEING OF OWNERSHIP" which cost $1,860 Dollars.o now he wants me to transfer that amount to his account just like that! Ok, I asked him to send his account details (I will use the account info to track him down)

The idiot sent his account details as below;-

How can an official bank account number carry an individual’s name? Bank of Africa for that matter!
I have never seen a dumb scammer like this before.
I still want to gather more about this guy before I expose him to the authorities. I will ask him to send his Western Union Money Transfer details!

Boom! He sent it as well

His account details are:
BANK NAME: BANQUE COMMERCIALE DU BURKINA.
A/C NAME: M. SAWADOGO MAHAMADI.
CODE BANQUE: BF056.
CODE GUICHET: 02001.
NUMERO DE COMPTE: 34156041456.
CLE RIB: 96.
ADDRESS: PMB 1336 OUAGADOUGOU BURKINA FASO.
DOMICILIATION: B.C.B OUAGADOUGOU.
IBAN: BF 056 02001 34156041456 96.
CODE BIC: BNCFBFBFA.

His Western Union details are:
RECEIVER NAME: MARIAM ASSITA ZONGONA
COUNTRY:OUAGADOUGOU BURKINA FASO
QUESTION:OK
ANSWER :OK

So guys be smart! Be wise!
I hope this help a potential victim.....
Peace

Sometimes most of these bank staffs liars with fraud stars to carryout such criminal acts.

I current engaging a scammer who sent me similar criminal activity as seen in his mail below:===

From: Karim Zakari <cgbensenor@infovia.com.ar>
Date: Wednesday, March 16, 2016
Subject: Immediate Reply.
To:

DEAR FRIEND,

I know that this message may come to you as a surprise, However. My name is Mr. Karim Zakari. I am the Bill and Exchange (assistant) Manager' Bank of Africa Ouagadougou Burkina Faso.In my department I discovered an abandoned sum of Sixteen million five hundred thousand United State of American dollars (16.5MILLION USA DOLLARS) in an account that belongs to one of our foreign customer Mr. Kurt Kuhle from Alexandra Egypt who died along with his family in Siber airline that crashed into sea at Isreal on 4th October 2001.

Since I got information about his death I have been expecting his next of kin to come over and claim his money because we can not release it unless somebody applies for it as the next of kin or relation to the deceased as indicated in our banking guidelines, but unfortunately I learnt that all his supposed next of kin died alongside with him in the plane crash leaving nobody behind for the claim. It is therefore upon this discovery that I decided to make this business proposal to you and release the money to you as next of kin to the deceased for safety and subsequent disbursement since nobody is coming for it and I don't want the money to go into bank treasury as unclaimed bill.

Am contacting you because our deceased customer is a foreigner and a Burkinabe can not stand as a next of kin to foreign customer. The banking guidelines stipulate that the fund should be transferred into the bank treasury after (15) years if nobody is coming for the claim. I have agreed that 45% of this money will be for you as foreign partner in respect to the provision of your account for the transfer and 55% would be for me, after which I shall visit your country for disbursement according to the percentage as indicated.

Please I would like you to keep this transaction confidential and as a top secret, As you may wish to know that I am a bank official.
Yours Sincerely,
Mr. Karim Zakari.

Am post him and by play along with this fraud star.... I will update the thread as we progress

I failed victim to this guy sometimes back. The worst scam experience I had was with Abayomi Aje also a popular figure I met through success digest.

There is no big deal to tell a potential client that u are no longer into a biz... That's why many of them don't last.
Am not surprised the this domain (http://oldenglishhost.com) is not longer active as hosting company.

Even http://abayomiaje.com can stay alive, as scams don't last.

Programming isn't difficult with patients and dedication on ur side.

First identify what u want to achieve, then select the best programming language for achieving that target and learn it wella!

Never jump start learning a language just because ur friend is doing it! That language may not be compatible with ur brain the way it is with ur friend.

That was how I started and became one today.

Recently (about a month ago), I seal a deal with him for some PayPal funds. After assuring me to deliver within 24hours, I paid him the Naira value into the UBA acct he sent to me bearing another name (not his name) – Femi Aje.

Two days (48hours) later, I haven’t heard from him so I contacted him and he said he is on his way to his office and will forward details to me!
Since then he refused to reply my emails and refused to pic my calls. If I use a new number to call him, he will pick and when he recognized its me, he will drop the calls. I had to use another source to complete my transaction.

Up till now this scammer is still holding my money!

If you know him, kindly point this to him let him refund my money immediately.

@ brown4959,
I understood how it feels after paying/buying something only to discover you can get that same thing for free!

I actually wanted to order the for the videos too about 2days ago. But I sent him (g+) an email requesting for video sample and he never replied me (up till now as am typing this - 48hours after reqest).

The mistake he made is not making potential buyers known/preview/sample what they are about to get. Also the famous MBG - Money Back Guarantee thing is missing.

Aside this, there is no harm in repackaging a free material for profit as long as the original author allowed it.... GUN Licence thingssssss.
