Sports / Re: Why Don't Nigerians Like The Nigerian Football League by shehuacc: 11:14am On Aug 24, 2020
Nigerians SMT needs to be restructured.
As usual our national anthem; corruption! being much specific on that, our referees and coaches are very much corrupt. Am sure once this are put in order this will be reduce to the dearest minimum.
B3ACHSIDE:
It has been my observation that Nigerians are versed with European soccer leagues like English premier league and Spanish premier league ,and perhaps Italian and German. I find it weird because most countries I've visited usually prefer their own sport leagues. For example , Lithuania is a basketball nation and they have their own basketball league( Lietuvos krepšinio lyga) which they enjoy . In fact, most people there are not versed with America's NBA league because they prefer their own league .
Most people in Brazil and Argentina prefer their own soccer league ,despite the fact they probably have some of their top stars in European league.
Most people in North America prefer American leagues. Even though soccer is not one of the most popular sports in the US, most North American soccer fans still prefer American soccer league and the stadiums are usually filled.

Why don't Nigerians like Nigerian soccer league, and what do you think can be done to improve so that it becomes a household league that Nigerians can enjoy and frequent ?

Politics / Re: WTO Screens Okonjo-iweala Today by shehuacc: 2:42pm On Jul 15, 2020
We still wish her all the very best of luck. Win or no win it still remain a big plus for the country.
myboy2111:
All the best. But it will be difficult for her to win.

Reasons:

1. Geo-political consideration...We have three candidates from Africa
2. Other Contestants are highly Experience in WTO matters
3. She is an outsider compared with other candidates
Crime / Re: Army Flags Off ‘Exercise Sahel Sanity’ To Stop The Current Spate Of Banditry by shehuacc: 7:40am On Jul 07, 2020
It really not an easy task to carry, the country is just too worrisome. May our good God make it easy for all most especially the soldiers in the front line.
