Tems, one of the biggest names in the Nigerian music industry has maintained the momentum she has had with the release of a new extended playlist. If Orange was a place, an 18 minutes long 5-track EP was released on September 14th, 2021. The most popular song so far on the EP is Replay and Brent Faiyaz is the only guest artist on the project. Tems has had a great career so far. She has been nominated for Best New International Act (BET 2021), she was nominated for best alternative song and best vocal performance for "Mr Rebel" (headies 2019) and in 2020, and she was nominated for Next Rated at the Headies and City People Music Award. Tems currently has over 14 million Spotify listeners. Her previous work "For Broken Ears" was her debut EP released on 25th September 2020 with Damages being the lead single. "Before the morning light Would you fly with me tonight?" Nigerian singer and songwriter, Johnny Drille signed to Mavin records releases his highly anticipated debut studio album. Before We Fall Asleep, was released September 3rd, 2021 and it features Ayra Starr, Don Jazzy, Styl-Plus, Cillsoul, LadiPoe amongst others. Johnny Drille is adored by his numerous listeners and the affinity to and acceptance of his music has grown over the years. His sound which classifies as alternative music is a fusion of several genres and the product is remarkable. The delivery on this project is superb. Centuries ago here in Africa it is believed that someone can be brought back from the dead, using the leaf from the Mbanzona tree, the tree was common in the Bight of Niger riverain areas, take note some of the people do come back but different they also came with some sort of Demonic entities hovering around them which haven't been proven yet. But over a century, scholars and researchers have proved these claims to be false until now. (Music playing) Daniella:- Babe that music is too loud, can you rewind a little I'm trying to work. Stories are indeed pseudo-reality. Even fiction. A reality that we wear so well you get to admire the pattern and style of the tailoring. You are lost in the yarns and yards and prints and sew. You are dazzled by the rainbow colours of Joseph’s coat. It becomes your reality. But the reality in itself is relative. All that is written here is real, and it happened to that side chick at the far end of your street, the one you shake your head at every day you walk by the brothel. She would laugh at your piety because she knows life. And you would laugh at her profanity because you think she’s heading for destruction. This, the lips on which our being will never rest is our story. Pressed between the pages of our minds are those memories which we desire never to relive or unlive. There is a reality in our being that constantly mocks our ability to feel. But, subconsciously, we live in these memories, they become us. They become our hug on a cold, lonely night. She is Esther. Movie Review: Army of the Dead(2021) What is dead may never die. Haha. This isn't the first time we would be seeing an army of the dead led by a general fighting against the living. Fans of The Game of Thrones would be familiar with the night king and his army and may also be interested in this movie because of its similar nature. Dave Bautista starred as the leading actor in this movie directed by Zack Snyder. This movie is more action packed than a thriller and the patience of the viewers would be rewarded. The plot is crisp, well written and smartly developed. When zombies infested Las Vegas, a rich individual tries to get money stored in a safe in a casino before the government's wipes out everything in Las Vegas. Would the heist be successful before the government destroys the entire city? Well, there's only one way to find out. Visit www.sommersnow.com for more movie reviews and other related articles. The movie contains so much blood and tearing of flesh and like other Zack Snyder's movies, it doesn't disappoint in combats nor action. Poetic justice wasn't missing at all as well, the saboteur gets sabotaged in the most fascinating way. Army of the dead is a tragic film with themes of vanity, determination and love. With great cinematography, you might actually forget you are seeing an horror movie because it is more entertaining than suspenseful. One of the downsides of the movie is that you are most likely to doze off before the real action starts. The movie is too detailed and it made it unnecessarily long and boring. I guess Zack doesn't like his movies being succinct. Overall, if you are patient enough, the entire 290mins you will spend will not entirely be a waste. The acting was just okay with Vanderohe(Omari Hardwick) being my favourite character in the film. The cinematography and CGI was incredible. Zack Snyder has the knack for creating movies with appealing visual and sound effects. Personal rating: 5.5/10 |

The vacancy of this road breathes life. The air, perfumed by this gloomy lush leaves, recharges my battery Overcrowded by emptiness, my thoughts suffocated. I'm chased by my own reflection, I'm battling with my shadows There's no path here, forwards, backwards or sideways I'm lost Eternally like a needle in a sac of sawdust.
