No offense taken, from my observation on the forum I've learnt to ignore jabs. Although you are right for pointing it out, I will be careful in my subsequent posts henceforth.

Well I don't know about Fidelity as i am not one of their shareholders but UBA gave us N2 which i think is good, @prophet utocha had mentioned it sometime back as a newbie then i just accumulated without "due dilligence" it paid off but i'm also paying for lack of it in other stocks recommended here. I am not sure i can really answer your question, my initial question was just based on logic and what i observed from accumulating Access as well

Can you also kindly relate Access Bank with UBA and Fidelity as well? Let's look at opposite direction too

Hello, its been great following this forum, I have learnt a lot from all posts, please I have a question regarding access . When they released 45k dividends people said they were stingy because their mates like GTB and Zenith dished out N1 as dividends, however since access price has been between 18-20 off late, isn't it still equivalent to what GTB is offering which is 2x the value of Access in terms of share price. I.e 2*access is 36-40 and equivalent of 90k ...and it still has potential for growth as its easier to acquire more units of access which will cost me 2ce to acquire GTB. Am i missing something through my layman reasoning?

Properties / Re: Building A Block Of Four 3-bedroom Flats -my Journey. by shonyboi(m): 9:04am On Aug 08, 2016
I am an Architect and I will be blunt. ''I do not think'' the fees are exorbitant as you did not state how large the square area of your building is and therefore there is nothing to compare it with. All that was stated is the amount you spent at each stage. The people that are saying it is high are either ignorant or ''probably use substandard materials''. You can always appoint an independent Q.S to do a cost analysis of what has been done so far if you have trust issues with who ever you gave the construction job to. Simply because someone built his/hers at a cheaper price does not mean yours will be the same. There are a lot of factors involved that may vary from site to site
1)access to site,
2)''Omonile issues''
3) Current price of fuel to power the concrete mixers etc.
4) Type of design (The more angles your building has the more form work the more cost)
5) Size of structural members to type of specifications recommended by the structural engineer

2ndly Appointing a draughtman is cheap and you will definitely get a cheap result. I pray you do get to build another property again and if you do i advice you appoint an Architect. We are expensive but there is a reason for that. Its not just about the ''beauty/aesthetics'' of the house but we are responsible for a whole lot of other things that would have been beneficial to you.

The price paid for the consultants i.e the structural engineer is quite cheap, though i hope he is certified?
I wish you Success on your project and wouldnt mind being invited for the house warming

Travel / Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by shonyboi(m): 3:41am On Feb 19, 2016
Hello Vic justice i recently joined nairaland based on the fact that i googled how to go about processing a rejected visa. I and my colleague applied for a business/training visa to spain we had all the necessary documents required but were denied based on this statement ''You have not provided proof of sufficient means of subsistence, both for the duration of the intended stay and for the return to your country of origin or residence, or for the transit to a third country into which you are certain to be admitted, or are not in a position to acquire such means lawfully;''
I have decided to reapply by asking for a company loan and letter of sponsorship from my organization as i am a senior staff and can be easily granted.
My colleague can't because he is a junior staff, regardless, he actually had sufficient amount in his account because his father is late and he is a trustfund baby.
My question is this should he appeal saying that maybe some documents were overlooked as to the source of his income such as the will his father left him?
Do i need to reapply or appeal now that i have a sponsor the program is set for april 3rd and time is not really on our side has we have bought the ticket and paid over a million naira for the training. I had about 700k in my account and thought it will be sufficient for 3 months since my accomodation would only cost about 330k for the duration based on my booking
