This is why you should appreciate Sadiq umar and kelechi nwakali. They are genuinely creative players.
Nwakali creativity could make a difference in this nation's cup
Nwakali with only one assist in his entire club career is creative? Issokay.

I don't want better, I want organized. I want to be able to keep possession for an extended period by playing short passes on the ground from defense to midfield to attack. I want a fluid team that attacks together and defends together. I want a team that plays triangles in the attacking third, a team that plays through passes.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen any through pass in all the AFCON games I have watched so far. I remember watching the Euros and seeing at least one through pass a game, inttercepted or not. That tells you how poor African football is.
How many players dey throw through pass for history of African football? Lol. Through pass requires creativity, if there is anything African football has always lacked, it is creativity. We have enough players with flair and physicality but the continent is lacking creative players.

From what I have seen so far from the training sessions and responses from the head coach, this is my expected formation.

We are going to play a high line possessive game and technique will play a huge role. Ball playing skills will play a big part too. Also long balls from deep will play a big part. So Awaziem and Ekong will work. Aina's offensive duty will play a part.

As much as I love this formation and selection, the attack won't work. Should Iheanacho play central forward in a 4-3-3 formation, he should be partnered with pacey inside forwards like Ahmed Musa who can feed off his creativity upfront. Like how Rodgers used Lookman to feed off Iheanacho against Liverpool or how Mane/Salah play off Firminho.

Playing Iheanacho, Chukwueze and Ejuke upfront will have them dribbling, passing the ball around without any them attacking space or being aggressive in the box.

My man wants to bench natural fullbacks like Ebuehi/Aina for Awaiziem, kon dey launch ball give Chukwueze and Musa upfront. Sean Dyche no do pass like this na. grin

If we will have a lot of problem scoring goals, I think we should go with three at the back.
Awaziem,Ajayi and Omeruo(Ekong) as the back three. Ndidi and Nwakali as the base. Then the best attacking third partnership IMO will be Henry, Sadiq and Musa; or Ejuke,Kelechi and Samu. Awoniyi will be more suited when we are playing with back 4. Simon na jack of all trade.
In a 3-5-2, Aribo(and Iwobi) will be the third midfielder with a free role kinda.

When the midfield is weak and we need someone to bring in the chaos factor, the Frank can enter.
We have too many good wingers which is the core of our squad to waste it on a 3-5-2 formation.

@TheSuperNerd.
Looking at your first Xi team preference, to me the most formidable set-up the Super Eagles can parade in this tourney should be a back line of Awaziem (RB), Ekong (RCB), Omeruo (LCB) & Zaidu (LB). In midfield, Ndidi (DM), Aribo (CM), & Iwobi (AM). The forward line will be a combination of Chukwueze (RW), Musa (ST), & Simon (LW). 4-3-2-1 formation.

Awaziem is more solid defensively than Aina to me as a rightback and he his equally adept at picking out an attacking player with a long pass. With Chukwueze in front of him, the RightBack should be more concern with defensive solidity and should let Chukwueze deals with the attacking duty of constantly foraying into the opposition's half. Onyekuru may come in as a sub later on for Chukwueze.

The CenterBack pairing have lot of experiences between them over the years thus complementing each other should not be difficult. If there is a need to replace anyone of them, Awaziem or Ajayi will do for me. They equally offer experience and competence.

With Zaidu on the leftback position, i will support him with Moses Simon in front of him. Playing other personnel in front of him brings certain flaws defensively. And playing Simon there too brings certain flaws offensively but against Egypyt, he his more protected with him. it's SIMON for me. Ejuke may come in as a sub later on

Ndidi-Iwobi-Aribo combination brings tested team play we have used & trusted. Transition is key. And with Iwobi & Aribo you can quickly gets the ball to the opposition half at the shortest exchanges of passes. Using other personnel is good but these guys know each other's movement very well. Nwakali/Onyeka can be sub in for either of Iwobi or Aribo in the midfield.

Musa will be my first choice. He may not be the most clinical, but he has the reputation, movement, speed & shots to scare the opponent and allow others to gain goal scoring advantage. Greenhorn like Sadiq & Awoniyi can be sub in after Musa would have stretched the opponent defence with his constant runs.

Bros, e be like say you be our Nigerian Sean Dyche. Which kind gbao-gbao football you want make we play with this your selection. Abeg o grin

Sounds like the lady is suffering from some sort of psychological disorder. Repressed memories of very traumatic experience where she was trafficked and used for sex. She likely witnessed other "uncooperating" girls like her slaughtered which was why she referenced this below;

She didn't say "I am carrying these hens to cut their throats". She used the word "they" and "girls".
She said I should follow her and see how "they would slaughter girls"

There are gruesome women trafficking rings in Nigeria and many other countries like Libya, Italy, Spain, France, Cuba etc.

Here she talks about girls being carried and their necks being cut. These are pointers to troubled experience of trafficking. There are well documented stories of pimps forcing young girls to sex in Nigeria. These guys are cut-throat dangerous people of the underworld who commit all sort of horrific crimes to support and protect the ring.

All through the sex, she spoke of "girls being carried", "girls necks being cut", as she was moaning.

That girl needs help and should see a psychologist.

Those are just lies to cover up her waywardness!
She didn't go to hotel to see any boyfriend, she went there to hang out with the "big boys" and got "served" !
She went there to exchange her body for money, because she feels that client will spend more on her and give her a taste of "good life" than her real boyfriend.
I got no single R.I.P to waste on wayward smelling creatures this year!
Why do you think wayward women deserve death?

the root cause for the ritualist is greediness and the root cause of the victim is waywardness. We can't downplay the reasons she was exposed to being a victim because she was killed. This is a two way trade. The devil needs someone to be greedy and another one to be wayward to complete transaction. So far the greedy person did not force... Then part of the blame goes to the victim too. I hope you understand. Peace
So what is the root cause for women who are killed by their husbands/boyfriends or family members for ritual? Or women who are lured to come for a job but killed for ritual?

Since you people want to focus on the outlier and leave the root cause. Continue victim blaming there.

Why do we always blame the victim?
If you noticed, there is a pattern to the victim blaming. It is all these broke stupid men who feel women can only be bought by money and they think the consequence of being bought my money is for these women to be gruesomely murdered. Little wonder they have been ardent on linking the story to Yahoo boys money ritual, because to them any woman who rejects them for Yahoo boys deserves death. Very foolish people.

See example below:

ivandrago:
The day majority of ladies stop going out with men of suspicious wealth & character is the day Nigeria will start healing from certain vices...

It is a vicious circle... girls want to live the flashy life, boys want to sleep with the girls...

Since the girls only have eyes for guys who spend lavish & have bad boy characteristics, the guys will continue to do everything in their power to get that wealth so they can get the girls...

A ritualist that is damned already will be motivated to wrought damage as much as possible to destroy families. I Know you are emotional about the incident... but attack the root cause also.
The root cause is desperate greedy Nigerians like you and I killing women for the purpose of money. Why are you people focused on the victims and not the criminals or the crime?

I hate it when they use this stupid word "lured" to play down a girl's waywardness which led to her doom. How do you "lure" a full grown adult woman into a hotel room? Didn't she know what she wanted and then consciously decide to go there on her own?
Are you stupid or did you fall on your head as a kid?

So because she was wayward she deserves to be gruesomely murdered and her organs harvested? You people are very foolish.

[s]When will all these girls learn to stop following yahoo boys. The truth is that most of these ladies knows that their boyfriends are into yahoo. I say this because how can someone who has no verifiable source of income be driving expensive cars and wearing designers clothings be dating you and you can't ask him the source of his wealth. They are just greedy and want to enjoy wealth that they never suffered to acquire. It doesn't matter how long you have dated or being in a relationship with a yahoo boy, he can use you for rituals anytime. The truth is that when his clients stops paying or things are not rosy, a yahoo boy will start looking for spiritual solutions and he can be asked to bring his girlfriend or sister or mother or friend or cat or dog or duck for sacrifice, you can't tell!!![/s]
You people come here and talk rubbish as if it is only Yahoo boys that do money rituals in Nigeria. Women are not safe anywhere in this country - people in different spheres of life are killing women for rituals yet you are still blaming the victims. angry

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: 200k A Month In Abuja Vs 300k A Month In Lagos by Shukusheka(m): 12:31pm On Jan 06, 2022
There is no definite answer to your question, the factors below should guide the decision you want to make.

1. Career Goal: Which of the two jobs lead you faster to your ultimate career goal? Which is your priority now, more money or better career prospect? If your goal is to earn more money now, go for the Lagos job, as it offers more. If your goal is better career prospect, then compare the role they are offering you in both companies, check career growth of past employees, what industry the company operates, and how well you can leverage the brand of the company on your CV.

2. Personal Lifestyle Are you the energetic hustling person or you enjoy your peace of mind and like to move at your own pace. Lagos and Abuja are different cities, with different problems and different lifestyle. Lagos offers you more opportunities as it is the commercial hub of the country. On the flip side, Lagos is bedeviled with traffic jams, gra-gra lifestyle and the cost of living is generally more expensive than Abuja. Summary, if you want greater opportunities packaged with sufferhead, consider Lagos, if you want a better standard of living with opportunity cost, consider Abuja.

In conclusion, if I were in your shoes, I would take the Lagos offer - 100k difference in salary is plenty in this Nigeria. Above all, aside the civil service and the lure of government contracts, Abuja is not attractive to a professional like me who likes to have opportunities at his fingertips. My young age is for hustling biko.

ALHAMDULILLAH!!!! My younger brother application was approved today at the 3rd attempt.

The first application was handled by one travel agent company (Snowfox). The application was submitted on September 2020 and got rejected the same month after payment exorbitant fee. It was during this first application process that I got to know everything about visa application because it was more or less like I was the handling the application. The application was rejected based on purpose of visit, financial asset and employment history.

I handled the second application myself and I submitted the application on 6th November 2020. I got advise from one agent that I would need a lawyer to draft the LOE that would address the refusal reasons which I did. The mistake I did was that I didn't apply for the gcms notes before reapplying and it backfired as the application was also refused the second time 7 months later, 9th June, 2021 based on the purpose of visit and financial assets.

I got to know this thread after the submission of the second application and it helped me in the third application. I patiently waited for the gcms notes to arrive. I sent an email to @Frankrobbn to assist me but he said I should pay 20k as consultation fee before he can say anything, I was like wawu!

After that, I reached out to @Justmellow and he immediately offered to assist. He gave me advise on what and what to do and also helped me to rewrite the SOP and LOE because my younger brother was actually switching career from Architecture (OND) to Computer Science (BSC), Universityof Regina. I only paid for the two letters.

The third application was submitted on September 18 after Justmellow had reviewed the documents and gave me go ahead, and here we are today.

My people, always do your due diligent, pray and be patient. The PPR will definitely come at the right time.

And again, do not joke with your SOP as it is one of the key factors that can convince the VO to approve your application. If you can't write a convincing SOP please reach out to Justmellow, he will do a justice to your SOP and guide you throughout the application process.

I've started my own application too but I've not submitted it.

I really appreciate Justmellow for always responding to my message. You are indeed a guru!!!.
Boss, sent you a DM. I also have an admission from University of Regina, going through the OND route like your brother. Please respond.

Tuchel's plan coming to this game was to play with 5 at the back, Thiago Silva being ruled out last minute forced him into playing 4 at the back cos there is no other fit CB right now grin grin

Hopefully, the performance the boys out in last night would ensure he uses a back 4 some games, not every game 5 at the back
We still reverted to a back 5 yesterday whenever we were on the backfoot, Ziyech played a makeshift RWB. Whenever we pushed forward, we were playing a 4-4-2.
